Why when backing up to icloud its telling me its going to take 11 hours!?
im trying to back my phone to icloud and it says its guna take 2 then 3 then 4 and now currently on 11hours!
surely this isnt right!?
The backup time estimates can be widly off, especially near the beginning of the process. Give it some time and see if the estimate doesn't reduce to a more reasonable level.

Could that be the last page you were using?
For me, it seems to go back wherever it was the last time it was closed, be it the mailboxes/accounts page, an account's mailbox list, a message chain list, or an individual message. I'm not aware of a setting that affects this. -

It means what it says. It's simply old software that doesn't run on contemporary Macs. You need to come up with something else like buying a current version or joining Creative Cloud.

Click: Remove All Website Data
Now open System Preferences > Flash Player then select the Advanced tab.
Click Delete All under Browsing Data and Settings
Not empty the Safari cache.

I've asked these questions twice to the apple privacy postmaster, but they only reply with a boiler plate of links to get further support or they simply ignore my email. Should I assume the worse?
I like iPhoto, but I'm not going to use it if I don't know that my privacy is satisfactorily safeguarded.

Contacts not updated when backing up to iCloud
I updated the content of an existing contact but yet the contact content doesn't update with the next backup. What is the way to resolve this bacup problem?
iCoud doesn't update your iCloud data when you back up to iCloud; it only creates a new iCloud backup. Do you mean that when you change a contact on your phone, the contact is not changed in your contacts on icloud.com? If so, manually add any changes to the contacts on your phone to the contacts on icloud.com. Once the contacts on icloud.com are up to date, go to Settings>iCloud on your phone, turn Contacts to Off, choose Delete from My iPhone when prompted (they will still be in iCloud), then after a minute or so turn Contacts back to On. Then update another contact on your phone and confirm that the change is seen in your contacts on icloud.com now.

An automatic Firefox update this morning made my Roboform toolbar disappear. I reinstalled the latest version of Roboform and checked the enable toolbar box, but it still doesn't show up. I can use Chrome, but I am so much more comfortable navigating in Firefox. But I need my passwords real bad.
the thing is I've been on the beta for 5+ years and on 30 issue 1-4 with no problems until # 5 came out .that crashed the RF toolbar so until its resolved I went back to 29.0.1 and everything is fine now

Hi, I tried to make my first fax from the imac, I went into apple pref. to print and scan to change printer but could not get it to fax.
So I thought I would just print the document place it on the HP Officejet 8600 and fax that way. Now its stuck on print stating I am offline?
