I've seen this too and I believe its on the side of Dw that is doing it.
Something in the Dw code is causing it.

When I try to save a file using Excel 2008, ver 12.3.3, with extension either .xlsx or .xls, I get a message saying it cannot be saved because it is "read only." How do I change it from read only? (And how did it ever get to be read only?)
Save the file as a new name. Close and Open the new file.
Most likely when a file transfer happens, Office makes the file 'Read Only'.
If you have two opened files with the same name, the last opened file will be 'Read Only'. -

Select the i circle icon at the bottom right.
Select the + icon at the top right to add a city. Select the red - icon next to a city on the list to remove a city.
Select the icon at the far right of each city to move that city up of down on the list.
Select Done at the top right when finished.

The default icons cannot be removed. The default icons will not have an X to remove them. Only user created web clippings will have the X and can be removed. -

When multiple subfolders are added to folders, they are formatted from left to right in the content area of the WebDB Site. I want the folders to appear in a list, how can I change the layout?

The 'multiselect option' below that you referred to only alows you to select the order of the folders and if they are displayed or not.

Go into the System/iCloud preference pane and sign out. Then sign back in with your Apple ID. Also sign in to the App Store with your Apple ID. If you have purchased those apps previously you'll be able to download them for free from the Purchases section.

I have iTunes and know how to change the music for a slideshow but if I select pictures from a folder and export to QuickTime how do I change the music?
There is an option to "Add currently selected music to movie" but it always plays the same tune. How do I get an option to select an iTunes song like with the Slideshow? Where are the slideshow sample music files stored? There are 11 files in the sample folder but I can't find any of them on my drive.Maybe there is some confusion in what I'm telling you. There are two types of slideshows in iPhoto. One creates a special slideshow album that appears in the Source pane on the left side. This is not the one I'm talking about. (You create one of these slideshow albums when you select some photos and click the Slideshow icon (the one with a Plus sign on it) at the bottom of the iPhoto window.
The other slideshow is done from the main library window or from a regular album (not a slideshow album). You either select some photos (or a roll) from the Library or select an album (with a folder icon). Then click the Play button which is on the bottom right hand side of the iPhoto window.
If your Play button is on the left side, then you aren't using the correct one. The one that appears on the left side shows when you've selected a Slideshow Album from the source pane. This type of album has an icon that looks like a couple of slides (the kind you put in a projector).

We have forgotten the security code question and each time I request a reset it is being sent to an e-mail addres which does not exist. How can I change the e-mail address to my current e-mail address. We have put money onto an ITunes account which is asking for this security question. This has never happened before. I have inadvertently set up two apple ID accounts - now, I am trying to use iCloud to sync everything but my mac has one ID and my phone has another. How can I change the one on my mac? the one on my phone is the one that has the extra storage.

When I receive and answer e-mail, the correspondence is usually "nested" "behind" the original message, and the number of replies, etc. are indicated with a number next to the original message in the inbox. How can I change the mail settings so that every reply is listed individually in the inbox instead of having them "stacked" behind the original message. I'm afraid I might accidentially overlook messages the way they are handled now.
Somebody here will correct me if I'm wrong, but what you have to do is go into Settings, Mail/Contacts/Calendars and under Mail, turn off "Organize by Thread". I think that will make each message show individually.

How can I change the settings in Safari to list the open windows chronologically instead of alphabetically? I keep a lot of open windows e.g., 25 windows and many tabs on each) and like to work between a few at a time. The problem is that Safari reorganizes windows alphabetically. Once I open a new window, it take a while to find the windows I'm looking for. Chrome and Firefox list the open windows chronologically which I find much easier. The newest windows are at the bottom of the list.

simple fix
go to settings- messages - send and receive- select the numbers and emails you want to use - deselect the ones you don't need

settings-general-reset-reset all settings
now reconnect to wifi
settings- wifi- click network name- enter password - join
if issue persists back up and restore as new via iTunes
