Why when I delete a document from the print que does it not delete?

When I send a document to my hp photosmart printer and there is an error, I go in to delete the document from the print que on my hp laptop and it shows it as being deleted but nothing happens and I can't print any other document. How do I fix this?

If your problem is not resolved please read this post then provide some details. What exactly is your printer model? (There are hundreds of Photosmart models...) What operating system? How is the printer connected?
All the Photosmart printer models except the first one had a "cancel" button on the front panel. It may be easier to press this to cancel the print job rather than deleting the print job from the spooler. The cancel button is typically marked with an "X"; pressing it will stop printing and discard the remainder of the print job.

Simply because your Explorer/Finder only takes into account the file names and dates of your files.
For instance, in Windows, you have to tell the explorer to sort by 'date taken' otherwise the default sort orders are file dates or file names.
If you have given a 'custom' sort order to your albums, the only way for the Explorer to sort in the same way is to set the custom sort order in the album, export to a new folder with the 'rename' option - same starting text string plus order.

To scan:
You may press the start scan button on the printers control panel or use the HP solution center that must be installed in your computer to scan a document or photo.
Scan to email:
Some printers don't have the option in the control panel for scan to email. Mostly it is with the HP solution center software that should be installed in your printer.
Note:
For Windows the software is called HP solution center
For Mac it is called HP utility

Problems like you describe have been reported by users who update one part of their system but not others. If you upgrade your OS, you must Update your applications. That is the most common cause, but of course there could be others.
Please check your profile data. I doubt that you are really using OS X 10.0
Please tell us your exact OS version and Numbers version.

I'm having trouble with my MacBookPro and my Brother MFC 8460N. I can scan documents from the printer to my Mac Book Pro, anybody else having this problem? If so, any advice?

When I try to scan from my printer it does not connect

When I try to scan from my printer I get a message "Cannot find HP deskjet 3050 j610". But i can print from it and get printer data like ink supply. This started abruptly today. It was working OK until a couple days ago. The printer is connected by a USB cable. I have tried updating driver and "fixing" scanning problems via HP menus without success. If I press the scan button on the printer it says "scan error. try scan from computer" But this is what I usually do by using the compute icon on the START menu.

I've resolved the problem. The basic steps were (1) using the HP links to update my printer driver and search for errors in the scan program. (2) restart my printer and computer. After doing the first part, I saw no results listed. Normally I would have restarted the printer and the computer, but was afraid of losing my sites and the survey so I continued to search the various comments. I found a reference to this site in one of the post near mine for a #7520 device but cannot get back to it right now to give the author of the post. I think I sent him a reply.

This site gives a lot of advice for various situations and devices. I followed the advice as it applied to my computer and printer which ended with step 2 (I use a USB connection) and the scanner worked again.

Why when i copy paste documents from download to another folder,then i delete them from the downloads ,it will be erased at all?

I dl a file it goes to my doenload folder,then i copy it to another folder for example document,then when i delete it from download it will erase at all? why?
is it ok to have the file in both downloads and document? it will not be more size?

If you copy it to another folder, e.g., Documents, and you can see it in the Downloads folder then you now have two copies of the file. If you delete one copy, the other stays intact. If you keep both, there is no harm, although the amount of disk space used is twice as big as when you only keep one copy.

HT4477 why when a photo is put in the video it does not appear?

i put my picture in between my clips in imovie but when the red lign is on the picture, it shows a frozen clip from the preciouse video clip.

Accessing the CMYK profile is the first difficult experience I've encountered with this arrangement. I have never needed the CMYK profile until recently, and that need has now past. However, it remains a mystery to me as to why it does not appear with all the others on the menu of export choices in Aperture 2, or on the menu of profile assignment choices in the Preview application (where again all the other profiles are listed as choices). I'm beginning to think my current set up will permit me to view an image that was created in CMYK space, but does not easily assign, or convert to that space. I don't face these restrictions with all the others, so it remains a curious circumstance for me. I anticipate upgrading my computer and software in the near future which might alleviate this issue altogether. Again, many thanks for your attention to this matter. Why when i plug my iPod Touch 4th gen in does it not ask me to upgrade to iOS 5?

my ipoid is a 4th generation touch and ive seen the upgrade for ios5 and when i plugged it in it was supposed to ask me if i wanted to upgrade and it never has. ive tried unplugging it and then plugging it back in but it wont ask me and i cant see that theres any other way to do it. also when i check the summary page and click on check for update it tells me that this is the current version.

it wont ask you if its already installed on it.
but you can always download it manually from internet and
connect your ipod back in itunes pess shift and click update for a pc, press options and click update for a mac. Then select where you saved the file after downloading.
befor that if the file is in .zip format you have to change it to .ipsw format for it to show in tunes......

Connection kit will read class 6 cards but not class 10???

I use an 8GB SDHC Class 10 card & it works with my iPad 2. Make sure the 30-pin adapter is fully seated into the side of the iPad.
Here's another way. Import the pics to your computer. Then you can use a USB flash drive & the camera connection kit.
Plug the USB flash drive into your computer & create a new folder titled DCIM. Then put your movie/photo files into the folder. The files must have a filename with exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus the file extension (i.e., my-movie.mov; DSCN0164.jpg).
Now plug the flash drive into the iPad using the camera connection kit. Open the Photos app, the movie/photo files should appear & you can import. (You can not export using the camera connection kit.)

No login shown when trying to access documents in the portal km

I've an strange behaviour on a customer Netweaver 7.0 (SPS 14) system.
When i try to display an document from the km and i'm not logged on in the system i normaly expect to
get an dialog where i can make an log on to the system.
But on this system i receive an error when i try to access km documents without login.
In the logfile the following error is reported:

Question is now for me, why do the portal use the J2EE_Guest user and not shown an login screen like i expected it.

When I downloaded Photoshop CS6 from the Creative Cloud, it did not include a copy of Adobe Bridge. Adobe Bridge does not appear in the selections in my Adobe File Manager to download from the Cloud. How do I obtain a copy of Adobe Bridge?

Bridge is automatically installed with Photoshop, After Effects, InDesign, Illustrator etc. There is no specific option to install it.
