Why will imovie not accept pictures that i want to add to my project

Whenever I try and add photos to my imovie project imovie will not accept them. When i drag and try to drop them in the place id like to place them the incert section turns green as if imovie recongnizes where i want to place the picture but the picture never shows up.
I have restarted the computer and I have restarted imovie in hopes of that working but it has not resolved anything.

do you drag 'n drop from the Media-Bin within iMovie?
or from 'outside' iMovie into it?

Hi,
It might help if you could tell us your version of PSE and your operating system.
In between requesting the verification code and trying to apply it, you didn't change any of the settings in Edit -> Preferences -> Sharing did you?
Did you use Copy & Paste to copy the verification code from the email to PSE?
On the page that is asking for the code, you can always click on the resend button and it will send you the code again - worth a try.

Why will Apple not accept my email change? It keeps telling me that it is not a valid email address.in the mean time it keeps defaulting me back to a non valid email address that I have not used for over three years. I closed that account.

I Want to update my email address in my apple account. It will not accept my valid Email and defaults me back to a closed account, an invalid email. Frustrating. I have tried several times. Maybe I should close my apple account and purchase a Blackberry.

I'm trying to import videos I shot with my iPod Touch 4G into iMovie but to no avail. I get a message saying that "No camera is connected". I've youtube'd my issues but the tutorial I watched seemed easy but my problem remains. Can anyone help me please?

When you watch on your Mac, it is at or near HD 1920x1080 pixels (about 2 megapixels), depending on the resolution of your screen. Most photos today are 5 megapixels or greater, depending on your camera, but anything over 2 megapixels must be reduced when put in a video.
When you create a DVD, you must further reduce it to 640x480, standard definition. This is about 0.3 megapixels. iDVD will do this for you.
You can fix by creating an HD movie in iMovie. You can Share this using Share/Export Using QuickTime to an MP4 container using the h.264 codec. You can then put this movie on your PS3 using a USB thumb drive.
That should give you good resolution.

Might be corrupted Safari preferences ...
Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type of copy paste the following:
~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Safari.plist
Click Go then move the com.apple.Safari.plist file to the Trash.
Quit and relaunch Safari and try setting your hompeage.

It's probably telling you that you need 1.5 more GB than you have available. Hook up your device to iTunes on the computer you sync with and do the update from there. OTA updates require a lot more memory than ones done via iTunes.

Hi Friend,
Do you set all the email information correctly?
Can you send/receive emails? If you are often receiving a message on the screen like "cannot contact the server...", check in Settings >> Mail, Contacts, Calendars >> "your name account", if all the fields are filled properly.
You must also turn off Restrictions in: Settings >> General >> Restrictions, because have an option " Allow Alterations - Accounts" that it maybe prevent alterations in your email account.

Why will PDF not open from email?

I recently modified my Adobe Reader 9.1 (with instructions from the bank) to be able to electronically sign documents.
Since then I can not open any PDF documents from email. I went back and reversed the changes I made. I uninstalled Adobe and reinstalled it. No luck.
I have to save the documents and open them from Windows Explorer.
Any Ideas?

A fast workaround for PDF problem (See my original post)
In Firefox:
Open Tools > Options > Under Main tab click Save files to > click Browse
Scroll up or down to find where you want it to go (I put mine under Documents because it's the easiest to find).
Click New folder and label it something you will quickly recognize.
Now when you click on a PDF attachment it will automatically be sent to that file and you can double click or open
it in Adobe Reader

Do you have a smaller capacity micro SD card to try? I seem to remember from past posts that users were having problems with cards larger than 32GB, however, Apple's page doesn't mention this.

Why is it that CS3 Photoshop will not open Pict files, even after
going into Image Info and saying open all images like this Pict file in CS3.

I can open the Tiger OS application PREVIEW and open the same Pict file?
I can open any Pict file in Preview and convert to jpg, then CS3 seems to
recognize the image file and open it.

The Mac Paint.plugin has to be in ./Applications/Adobe Photoshop Cs3/plug-Ins/File Formats/Mac Paint.plugin
You need to find the Mac Paint.plugin in the Goodies/Optional Plug_ins/File Formats/… then relaunch Photoshop.
