Why will mail not send when it will receive?

Mail receives correspondence on all accounts, but will not send on the grounds that the server forbids retransmission. However it does work with wegbmail like yahoo and g accessed through safari. How can I resolve this?

Did you check the outgoing mail server setting in each account? Make sure that your username and password are in there.
Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>Your email account>Account>Outgoing mail server - tap the server name next to SMTP and check in the primary server and make sure your username and password are entered and correct - even if it says that the password is optional.

If so, are both accounts provided by the same email account provider?
Who is the email account provider for these accounts and do you know if the accounts have an authenticated SMTP server?
As an example - if the accounts are provided by your internet service provider at home which doesn't have an authenticated SMTP server, you will be able to send with the accounts when connected to your wireless network at home and when connected to any wireless network with your internet service provider providing internet access for the network. Not so when connected to the internet with another internet service provider.
Most, if not all internet service providers block the use of SMTP servers that are outside of the ISP's network or not provided by the ISP being used for your internet connection at the time unless the SMTP server is authenticated.

First you have to understand what should be done...
ask your functional consulatant where exactly the Mails need to be retrived For example...
in infotype 0105 subtype '010' generally we have email ids avaialable of the employeee....
may be this helps or not give full specification some one can revert back.

E-Mail not send when relevant BP is in more than one partner function

Dear all,
i am facing an big issue.
My e-mail action does not work if the bp of the recipient is stored in more than one partner function in this incident.
Is this a know bug ? What can i do about that?

Mail not send in the same receiver oder in which intended......

Ive created the reciever list using the following stmt:
LT_RECLIST LIKE somlreci1 OCCURS 5 WITH HEADER LINE,
at runtime im able to see the reciver in this table in correct order , but the mail header shows a different mailing order when mails are recieved.
Even im not using sort stmt. dont knw how mail order get disturbd. Is it on the SAP system to decide the order..??

This is a common anti-spam technique for ISPs to prevent mail from being sent from anywhere other than your service location. Ask Road Runner if there are any specific settings you can use to circumvent this.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

This is the second time in three months this has occurred. Bell Aliant suggested I contact Apple directly as the only option is to remove my e-mail account and reconfigure it. This will mean losing all my files. These files are very important as my account is a business account.
Bell Aliant thought perhaps it is an Apple problem and that Apple may better be able to remedy the situation without me losing my e-mail files.

An Internet email provider losses all your Mail and it's Apple's fault ??
Did they explain how the app managed to delete all of your mail and then not even let you have access ?
If that was the case the app should still be able to access the empty folders.
I know there is often blame and counter blame in these situations but there are limits.

When you said you went to Settings and everything seems good. Does that mean the MMS was turned on? If so, and this is only being experienced when dealing with SMS/MMS, then you should contact your carrier to have them check to make sure your account is provisioned for MMS, and that everything is alright with your account. SMS/MMS is a carrier function.

I compose an iMessage with the destination as my email address and I attach 2 photos I want on my PC. I send them several times from my iPhone 5C but they never arrive. I look at my ipad later and realize that it's iMessage app is getting ( and swallowing) these emails. I then turn the ipad off. Still can't get the photos through because iphone is now getting them on it's iMessage. I turn off the iMessage feature and try to send photos from text msging. Phone tells me it can't send photos unless iMessage it turned on. What happened to regular MMS text messaging? I go and try to send photos as an email attachment and see that there is no option to attach from the stupid email program. I look up online to learn about the brave new world of apple attachments and send them.

Did not work. I've selected iMessage to ON and left it. After a few hours I recieved a message "activation unsuccessful. Turn on iMessage to try again". This has been going on for the past 3 days.

Out going mail not sending in mavericks

I've had this problem since upgrading to mavericks, mail not sending and the sntp server showing off line.
I"VE FIXED IT!!!!
Guys hope this helps, the ports show default - 25, 465, 585 in edit smtp settings. Check the next box down - use this port and type in 25, I know its in the default list but its sent my mail when using the custom port.
Hope this helps, I spent all day yesterday on to my server supplier and onto chat with Apple in US but couldnt solve it.

For the past few weeks, I have been noticing a similar problem: access to 11 email accounts, and three domains, is blocked on occasion. According to my web hosting company, this is happening because some process was attempting to connect via port 585, an insecure IMAP port; and that an automatic firewall rule was invoked to block those attempts. The blocking would last for about one hour after the last attempt was made to connect.
I'm running Mavericks. If I quit Mail, then restarted one hour later, the problem was resolved. UNTIL Mail attempted to connect to my mail servers, upon which the blocks were triggered again.
I downloaded Little Snitch. It told me, unsurprisingly at this point, that three email accounts were attempting to use port 585 to connect to their mail server. But I DON'T USE IMAP with those accounts! Why Mail is attempting to connect to a port which I haven't configured it to use is the puzzle.
The solution for me: tell Little Snitch to deny any access via port 585.
