Why won't a ebook that I created in ibook author sync in I tunes?

I have created an ibook using ibooks author and have used the preview option to load it onto my ipad. Unfortunately it does not show up in my itunes when I go to sync it so it never syncs with itunes. This is a problem because I would like to give the preview book to my students but when the ipad updated to ios 6, all off the books went away. Has anyone ran into this problem or have a solution for me?

Unable to open book that I created in iBooks author

I created a book in iBooks author on my mac, emailed it to myself as an iBook, and when I try opening it on my iPad 2 (which is running the most updated version of iOS7) when i got the message "unable to open book." I have tried deleting iBooks and redownloading it only to get the same message. I also sent myself a different version of the book I made and it still won't open on my iPad. Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?

Frankly, I don't know what's happening, but I can offer you some options. I only hope that you'll post here with the results so others can solve this:
If you have access to another computer, see if you can send the iBook to your iPad via Dropbox. I know this works for PDFs; I'm hoping it also works for other ebooks.

I have been read some blogs discussing that the iPhone could gain new support for ebooks made by iBooks Author. And now, I wanna know whether the prediction is true or not. I can' t find any annoucement from Apple to confirm this point. Does anyone answer my confusion.

With the current software ..books created using iBooks Author cannot be viewed on iPhones.
iBooks Author creates books that can only...be used with iPads and on Macs with Mavericks installed, by using iBooks.
Thats it...no rumours. Blogs or to be more accurate...some of those who contribute to them seem to either be totally stupid, or like to make themselves look as if they have inside knowledge.
Apple created iBooks Author to allow self publishers create and publish books to the store. But not just novels or text only type books. iBA made these books allow audio / video ..and much much more than any novel. That being so....most interactive multi media books will not really display well on a screen the size if the iPhone.
Apple are more concerned in getting iPads in use more by business and education at all levels.
The only rumour that may well become fact is a larger sized screen for a bigger iPad mid to late 2014.

If the book is in portrait mode, the text is fluid - top of the screen is a resize option. Basically whole effect is the same as an ePub file.
If reading a book in landscape mode, resizing text simply isn't an option because it's considered fixed format.
I've been working with landscape only books and I tend to increase the size of my body text in iBooks Author - to at least size 18. It appears that although this would be large if printed, when displayed on an ipad it's closer to about size 12, which is standard anyway.

I'm making the book for children and there is one chapter providing coloring pages. So I wish to attach pdf files that allow users to download it at the end of chapter so that they can print it out. Been searching through discussion, I've found some advice about taking screen snapshot page-by-page > then send the pics from photo album to email. However, I'm wondering if there's a way that make the process easier.

I would like to submit a paid iBook created using iBook Author and make it available to download in India. Apple does not support downloading paid iBooks in India. Is there a solution for this. Also, is there an enterprise deployment of iBooks ie limited distribution of paid iBook.

There should not be a simple issue just because of versions, I think.
You may have a corrupted asset, as you seem to think. In that case, it's up to you to dig into the exact cause, sorry.

Why won't 9.2.1 install on my iBook?

Hi, I have an old Mac OS 9.2.1 cd (#691-3334-A) that I want to install onto an iBook that I recently bought so I can use old Classic software. I used the disc to boot up the computer and to initialize and partition the hard drive. However, when I clicked on the "Mac OS Install" icon, I got the message "This program cannot run on your computer. See the documentation for more information." This disc says on it "To start up from this cd, hold down the C key.... etc) so I would think it should work. I checked Wikipedia's Mac OS 9 page to see if OS 9.2.1 is compatible with the iBook G3 (with Firewire and dual USB) and the answer is yes. Sooooooooo..... why won't it install?

There is no download of OS 9.0. It only comes on CDs which you have to buy however, the only way that you can install classic on your iBook is to use the CD that came with that model iBook. You can't even use a regular retail OS 9.x install CD to install classic.
There is another way to install classic. You can copy the System Folder containing OS 9.2.1 or 9.2.2 from another Mac & then copy the folder to your iBook.
In addition, when your hard drive was formatted, the OS 9 drivers must have been installed. You can check the System Profiler (About This Mac>More Info>Hardware>ATA) to determine if the drivers were installed.

Is a DisplayObejct a dynamic class, that can be extended from anywhere?

I just found the syntax to add a new ObjectAttribute to an Instance of the Object. But is this ObjectAttribute also added to all other Instances of the Obejct?
My plan was to create a MovieClip and set some ActionScript inside its timeline in the first frame that adds some Objcet Attributes to that MovieClip, so that the new Object Attribute can be used for all Instances of this MovieClip, that are created in the runtime.

A user with your ibook (not from the store) can share that book via email, as an example, thumb drive, server, etc., without restriction.
The only way to prohibit restribution in that example is to not put it out there.

iBooks Author won't open an .ibooks file. That file belongs on your iPad, read w/iBooks.
An iBooks Author document for editing is an .iba file.
