My neice sent me a video to my 20 dollar freakin samsung phone and it plays perfect, but will not play together on iPad?.the sound plays seperate from the video!?.?

How was this video sent? Is this a link to a website? an email?
How was the other video sent?
If you donñt have one already, I suggest downloading a general video player. I use Moli Player with great results.

QT 7 Pro can rotate the orientation setting which can then be saved back to the original file. Thereafter, if the file is player in a QT player or app based on the QT player, the file will play correctly as rotated while non-QT based players not recognizing the changed rotation will play the same as the original file. However, be advised that rotating the orientation does not change a video taken in a portrait subject orientation to a landscape subject orientation—i.e., it merely rotates how the display is viewed. If you wish to transform a portrait subject view to a landscape subject view, you will have to crop & mask (only works for old tech players) or crop & re-compress the file (works with both old & new tech players) the source content. Therefore, it is always recommended that you record your content in the mode (portrait or landscape) you wish to use for final viewing and rotate the view only if required for the target player app.

HT2729 Why won't certain videos (downloaded from iTunes) sync on my iPod?

I have a new iPod Classic and it won't sync some of my videos. I've reset it. I've got everything checked. All files and videos play in my library. There all in the same location and files. Its After syncing I get the "some videos were not synced because the format is not supported". All the vids were downloaded from iTunes Store. WTH? Can anyone think of a solution? What is wrong?

Great question. iTunes defaults to downloading HD content when available, whereas your iPod classic is not compatible with HD playback. The solution would be to download the SD version of the content from your purchase history:

IOS7 Won't Allow Video Download from Iphone to Mac

I can't find an answer anywhere for this one. With an iPhone and IOS7, when you connect via cable to a mac (Mountain Lion), you cannot import video from the device to the mac. Image capture, iPhoto, Preview--they all show the device as mounted but they all see no video or images. Same computer with pre-IOS7 upgrade works fine. Anybody?

How are you trying to sync them? Photo stream doesn't sync videos; only photos. You can add short videos (5 min. or less) to a shared stream and invite yourself as a subscriber and they will appear on your iPad (if your phone is running iOS 7 and your iPad is running iOS 6 or higher). I have a 16GB ipad air running iOS 8.1.2 and I have 11 pictures which I need putting onto my ipad so I can use them for my GCSE coursework video which I am using iMovie to do so.
I did the following steps and every time I get a pop up error message saying "the pictures cant be copied because the device has either been disconnected or has stopped responding"
1) open the list of pictures I want putting onto my ipad in windows explorer
2) plug my ipad into the computer using the USB cable included in the box when bought
3) go to: - Internal Storage
- DCIM
- File Folder
4) select all 11 pictures that I want to transfer and drag and drop on the File Folder
5) error message appears here
These steps work when transferring to my iPod touch 4 running iOS 6.1.2 or my old iPod touch 2 running iOS 2
If anyone knows why this happens or what i can do to transfer the pictures it would be a massive help and would be muchly appreciated

You can sync them via your computer's iTunes : connect the iPad to your computer and select it in your computer's iTunes, and then select its Photos tab :
And on that tab select the folder that the photos that you want to copy are in and sync/apply that selection to your iPad.
To remove the photos from the Photos app you will need to do similar to above, but select and sync an empty folder (you can't delete synced photos directly in the Photos app, instead they are deleted by not including them in the next photo sync).
Or you could email them to yourself and use 'open in' in the Mail app to copy them to the Photos app

If you resintall iTunes, it should fix the issue. The following document will go over how to remove iTunes fully and then reinstall. Depending on what version of Windows you're running you'll either follow the directions here:

Yes, the tone is available and checked in iTunes under the Tones library.
Yes, it is also listed under the Tones tab for my iPhone, but it is grayed out.
Yes, tones are selected under "sources" in General Preferences, along with everything else.
SyncTones was NOT selected under the Tones tab for my iPhone. I did so and it synced.

What are you doing to try to transfer them and what error are you getting? There are probably a dozen possible reasons, so narrowing it down would be very helpful.

It is like the "sent from a mobile device so excuse the typos" on the Blackberry, that is the default signature. Since it is sent from your iPhone you are supposed to excuse any typos, and is put there as the default since the statement is truthful as it was in fact sent from an iPhone.
I've never considered it being bragging and don't think most people think you are a "proper idiot". I haven't changed mine mainly because I haven't come up with anything to replace it, and I believe they put the default there so people will notice it and can just edit it.
Maybe I'll change mine to, "Changed to this so edgedatuk won't think me a proper idiot."
Has a ring to it.
