Why won't digital editions recognise a fulfillment server when I am connected to the internet?

Hi Digital editions has always worked well but now when I try to download a book it tells me it cannot find the fulfillment server and make sure I am connected to the internet.
I have tried reloading it but still get the same response.

Disable any security software on the computer.

I have windows vista home premium and all other iTunes worked on my laptop, I downloaded iTunes 10 and now the iTunes will not connect to the Internet. I use Mozilla firefox on my laptop and for some reason it keeps saying the connection timed out and I'm not connected to the Internet when I am. Why isn't iTunes recognizing my web configuration?

It probably has to do with your security and/or browser configuration.
When my laptop crashed last year and I had to get a new one, I dealt with the same thing. First, go to your control panel and select the security section. See if your firewalls are up or not. If they are, turn them off. If you have any software to speed up your browser, that can affect the connection as well. Go into that software and disble/turn it off. If this doesn't work, contact customer support. They have a few other tricks they had me try that worked, but I can't remember them now.

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app

    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
Double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. You may have many open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign.

Why are my podcasts not syncing with Apple TV when all devices connect to the same Apple iD?

Does anybody have an idea as to why my recently updated Apple TV does not sync my podcasts from my Apple iD. It's supposed to, it's not doing it, and it's very annoying.
This is only half the aggravation; the other half is that all my podcasts have been deleted automatically twice(no apparent reason other than perhaps a bug in iOS 7.0.2 / 11A501).
This one I have managed to comeup with sort of a temporary fix while Apple fixes this: I made a copy/backup of the "Podcasts" folder inside the "iTunes Media" which in turn is in the "iTunes" folder Within the "Music" folder in my Mac. When my Podcasts are deleted, I just drag the backup "Podcasts" folder I created into the My Pocasts in iTunes.
Apple please fix it.

That means it is not fully downloaded so you are streaming it. Fully download it.

Why does my error message say "Could not sign in. Please check your network connection and try again." for Facetime when I am connected to the internet?

Trying to access my Facetime and I haven't in a while. It is not allowing me to sign in. I am conneected to my Wi-Fi and am sitting right on top of it and it still says i need to check my network connection. My internet connection is fine and works with everything else but Facetime. What's up with that??

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Go to Settings>General>Date&Time and make sure it is set to Automatic
- Go to Settings>wifi>the connected network and change the DNS to Google's 8.8.8.8
- Go to Settings>iTunes and App Stores and sign out and sign back in

RAZR HD, why does my phone look for a Wi-fi when I am going onto the internet?

My Droid 3 seemed to have a better connection to the internet and I never had to set up a Wi-Fi connection.

Ahauben4, that's a great question and I'm sure we can figure this out! Just to clarify, is your phone asking you to connect to to a WiFi network because one is available or is it saying no 3G/4G connection available? If you have WiFi turned on, it will always look for available connections. Please turn off WiFi in Settings, Wireless & Networks. If you're having problems connecting to internet over 3G/4G, what city and state are you located in?

1. Make sure Date and Time is correctly set; Settings>General>Date and Time>Set Automatically>On

Why would adobe digital editions not recognize my nook when I connect the nook through the usb port?

Thanks for the quick reply, and sorry for the late response. I'm trying to do this for my mum on her computer, but I don't live with her, so it can be hard for me to find the spare time to get to her place.
Okay, let me start by listing a few things in dot points:
- Adobe Digital Editions does not recognise the device. There doesn't even appear to be any menu options for a "device" anywhere in the program.
- When I connect the device to the computer, the screen lights up and the word "USB" appears on it, so it is definitely noting the PC connection. However, no device appears in "My Computer" (running Windows XP). Tried using "Add Devices", but it couldn't find anything.
- Yellowstone, the brand, appears to be a product of JB Hifi, the store she purchased it from, and has no website or online software/drivers.
- I downloaded Calibre as you said. It seems a lot cheaper, but has easier to read options. However, it still won't let me load to my device (the text is greyed-out). I assume this means the program is not recognising the device either.
Not sure what to do now, kinda run out of ideas. Any more help would be greatly appreciated.
