Why won't Firefox fix the problem which prevents the Awesome Screenshot plug in from working in Firefox 5?

After downloading this newest version of Firefox (5), the useful ADD ON 'AWESOME SCREENSHOT' WILL NOT WORK. COULD THIS PROBLEM BE FIXED BY YOU ALL.

Why won't Apple fix this problem of iTunes Cutting off songs?

I've owned seven different ipods and three iPhones. On EVERY ONE OF THEM iTunes cuts off many songs after two or three seconds of playing. We're talking here about songs either uploaded from commercially purchased DVDs or the iTunes store. I have no bootleg music, I don't customize anything related to iTunes. I just buy music and download it into iTunes from MacBook Pro laptops that are similarly as standard as one can get. Yet when I listen to the albums of songs I've just purchased, random songs play for two seconds and then change to another song. When I've researched this issue across the Web I've found detailed complaints going back as early as 2004 and I can't believe that EVERY Apple iTunes system and device I've purchased over many years has behaved in this exact manner. What are these "Apple Support Communities" FOR is Apple fails to either correct the problems they report or, worse, even acknowledge problems that are documented by thousands of users of a wide variety of iTunes related products? I don't want to have to use a work-around or a reload or some of the other Rube Goldberg-like solutions others have suggested in these and other forums. I'm spending thousands of dollars on Apple equipment and software and I simply want the Apple iTunes devices and music that I buy to WORK AS ADVERTISED, which they don't. I just want my music to play as it is supposed to play. Why can't Apple make that happen?

That is not legit, it is a scam to gain access to your computer and information.

Why won't Apple fix the wifi connectivity problem with the iMac and new OS instead of just havin us go through hours of useless mock fixes!

I have spent hours with apple care about this problem with wifi connectivity. According to all the posts I'm not alone. I love my new IMAC
but i'll be glad to go back to my PC just so I can get my email without all the headaches. It seems that Apple has lost interest in
the IMAC and all of the problems associated with the new OS.

Keep in mind that ASC is where people go to get help, so yes, you are seeing reports of people who are having WiFi connection issues. But while it might seem like there are lots of people having trouble, given the sheer number of iMacs in use, it is a very small number. Also keep in mind that WiFi isn't totally under Apple's control. There are dozens of WiFi routers. Even worse, the manufacturers of WiFi routers often release firmware upgrades to fix flaws without ever informing the consumer. And just to add to the confusion, while WiFi 801.2 n routers have been sold for several years, for most of that time there was no agreed upon standard!
So if you'd like help, first, what router do you have and have you checked the vendor site to see that it has the latest firmware?

Your Windows friend should ask in a Windows forum why his email client won't open attached jpg files. We have no idea what email client he is using or how his Windows security is configured.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

I tried the steps you have provided in your troubleshooting, but it won't work for me because the Apple Mobile Devilce is perfectly installed on my windows. However, the driver "Microsoft teredo Tunneling adapter" has a yellow exclamation mark, which i believe means it's not installed correctly or something is wrong with it. This driver is under the Network Adapters (Please see picture below).
This is what happens when I connect my iPhone 4s to my laptop (Windows 7 Starter 32-bit)
1. The phone charges it's battery
2. I can open it in My Computer and import/export media files.
In iTunes
3. It start to sync until step 3 then stops.
4. The iPhone option with an arrow appears beside the iTunes Store, but when the arrow is clicked it disappears.
I hope you can provide me a solution for this problem.

For your iTunes issue with it not recognizing your iPhone, I would go ahead and suggest deleting iTunes and all of its components from your Windows computer and installing fresh.
Removing and reinstalling iTunes and other software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8

As far as the arrow button that you click and the iPhone disappears, it sounds like you may be clicking on the eject button. Please take a look at the following article for information on the eject button in iTunes.

When Firefox freezes, how can I shut it down, and re-start it without it automatically going to the site which caused the problem in the first place ?

I have Firefox set so that when I start up, I have it set so that it automatically goes to my home page. However when it freezes, which it does on a daily basis, and I have to shut it down and re-start, it automatically goes to the site which caused the problem in the first place.
If I was a hacker, I would probably find it quite fun to design a virus to reintroduce bugs after they had been exterminated - except that Firefox seem to have got there first.

Here's how:
(1) In a new tab, type or paste '''about:config''' in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste '''sess''' and pause while the list is filtered
(3) Double-click the '''browser.sessionstore.max_resumed_crashes''' preference and enter 0 (that's a zero) and click OK.
When Firefox resumes after a crash, instead of resuming automatically, it will display a list of your previous windows and tabs and you can deselect problem pages.
(This assumes it wasn't a private browsing session.)

Why won't Lenovo fix or comment on BIOS problems?

So far I have been happy with the machine (W520), until realizing it only runs Windows. I have had numerous issues with functionality that should work, and the machine is nearly useless to me unless I run windows. The BIOS does not seem to properly support GPT for partitions, and now most linux users who bought this laptop cannot even run their favorite operating system with VT-D enabled. It is still unsure what the problem is but the linux kernel developers have suggested it might be a BIOS issue.

This really sucks to buy a machine that does not work as intended, especially when there is no suppor from the company that sold the product. My suggestion is not to buy Lenovo products unless they start supporting them properly.

I wish I had an answer for the BIOS issues, but I don't. So far as I know, what I do is not affected by them. I can imagine someone's frustration if their work relied on those technologies working reliably. I hope Lenovo does address them, as I believe Linux derivatives will continue to expand their presence.
