Why won't my AE recognize my password?

After installing my Airport Express I opened Network Setup and entered my network password. It would not recognize it. Figured I had the wrong one so the Apple Store helped me to reconfigure my MacBook Pro and we came up with a new password. Network Assistant still didn't recognize it. After going through the setup over and over something finally worked and I'm on the network right now. Now my girlfriends MBPro has the same problem at my place, "Incorrect Password"! What could be the problem?

There is another way, if you still want to use two-step verification. In Account Settings (Security & Passwords), just below where you turn on/off two-step verification, there is an option called App Passwords. Click on Create a New App Password and it will generate a series of letters that is your new password for apps that can't verify the 2-step process. When you get the box asking for your password on your iPad, put this new password in there instead. Make sure that the password you created for your hotmail account is in the Outlook Account Password in your iPad Settings, but then use this new App Password when the sign-in box pops up afterward. Hope this makes sense.

Why won't my Mac recognize Verbatim Dual Layer blank DVDs?
I've just completed a 140 minute project in FCP. I've encoded an MPEG2 file that is 5.75GB in size. Brought into DVDSP and am trying to burn the DVD.
I have Final Cut Studio 1, latest updates and everything.
Because of the 5.75GB size I need to burn to Dual Layer DVD. I have Verbatim 4x 8.56GB dual layer DVDs.
When I click buld/burn and pop in a dual layer DVD I get an error saying "please insert compatible disc".
Even with every app closed. If I put one of these DVDs in my Mac it simply spits it out after about 20 seconds.
For some reason the Mac won't handle or understand these Dual Layer DVDs.
I bought this Mac Pro about 4 months ago and it is the 2 x 2.66Ghz Dual Core Intel Xeon machine and the DVD drive (according to system profiler) is a Pioneer DVD-RW DVD-111D. In system profiler it says "Pioneer DVD-RW DVD-111D"
Can anyone tell me if this DVD player is actually capable of dual layer, or do I need to buy one.
In System Profiler under Revision it says: AB09 and under Protocol it says: ATAPI

If you have access to a pc into which you can install the 112, or if you have bootcamp, you can replace the Apple supplied firmware with Pioneer firmware. This should restore full functionality to the drive. there might be something different on the mac you can try appleid.apple.com and reset your password i would also check the mac to see which appleid is signed you may have multiple apple ids and not know

Why won't my Macbook recognize the install disk? I want to run the Apple Hardware Test, but the computer will not boot from the install disk, it keeps ejecting the disk.

Several possibilities -
The disk may be from a different model of computer.
The disk itself may be damaged.
The optical drive in your MacBook may have gone bad. Can it read other DVDs?

1. Update iTunes to the latest version. Plug in your iPod. If iTunes still can't recognize it, then in iTunes in the top left corner click help> run diagnostics. On the box that comes up, check the last two things. Click next and it should identify your iPod.
2. Click on your windows start menu. Type in "services". Click on it and when it pops up, on the bottom of it click on "standard". Now Scroll down to find "Apple Mobile Device" Right click it when you see it and click on "Start". When it has started, close iTunes and replug in your iPod and it should show up.
3. Check the USB cable
4. Verify that Apple Mobile Device Support is installed
5. Restart the Apple Mobile Device Service and verify that the Apple Mobile Device USB Driver is installed.
6. You can use some third party software like this iPod file transfer, it can help you copy files from iPod to computer, and then you can use iTunes to sync the music to your iPad mini.
7. Check for third-party software conflicts.

From best I can tell this is a standard definition camera. FCE does not support SD camera that use drives, discs, or memory cards. You can probably convert the material using MPEG Streamclip. There a lot of information on this on the forum and on the web.

There's always something with these updates. The most recent update to iOS 7.1 has created an issue now with Game Center. I can log in using my Apple ID and password, but after that it treats me like a new user. After agreeing to the User Agreement terms, I'm asked to type in my nickname. When I type in my current nickname (which I don't want to change), it tells me that name is already in use in another account. Yeah, I'm the account! It doesn't matter if I access Game Center directly, or through a game app. When I open a game, the banner now reads "Welcome Back (Null)". It refuses to recognize me even though I've logged in with a valid Apple ID and password. What gives, and how can I get my Game Center back?

I had to choose another nickname. One thing I have noticed now is that the amount of coins I have won sometimes changes by as much as 20,000 overnight, as well as the gems. I don't know if Game Center is switching back and forth between the two nicknames. I have searched for answers from other users in these forums, but unfortunately, the problem still exists.
