Why won't my app icon come on my screen it download a new app and when it finishes it just disapers
My apps aren't working every time I download a new one it just disapred and says in the store open but I can't open it because the icon has vanished
Try putting some of your Current Apps into Folders.
Use The Search function to Locate the Apps on your Device.

I have two Apple Accounts. One in Switzerland and one in China. I used to be able to updates all of my apps by clicking individual apps. One day I clicked update all by accident. Ever since that, my iphone cannot update any of the apps. Nor is it able to download any new apps. Please kindly let me know how to make the phone back into work with the apps.

Restore the phone as new. Wait a couple of days before adding any apps to see if it's running ok. Then, add apps a couple at a time so that, if any of them cause issues, you'll have an idea which one. -
I had been using the IPAD and all of a sudden it started talking back to me and when swiping apps to close them they would not close. She (the IPAD) kept talking back to me such as "use three fingers" etc. Then the screen went blank and if I touched it I could get it to beep at various touch points. SIRI would also communicate, but the screen stayed black.
As was suggested here, I tried getting a reboot by holding the sleep key with the home key and after 10 seconds the apple logo shows and 5 seconds later my screen saver comes on for just one second, and then it goes back to a black screen. SIRI tells me shes not available and someone else, must be her sister, says things like 90%, 85%, 80% if I continually swipe the screen. Can anyone help me?Hello, Juniorjr2.

This sounds like screen curtain may be enabled. Screen curtain is a feature that allows display privacy. To disable screen curtain while VoiceOver is enabled, you can three finger triple tap the screen to disable this feature. You may need to press the home button once in order to process these steps. I have had so many problems with Skype I know this is not suppose to happen. When you are on your computer the only time you go to your apps is when your looking up something for your phone. So when your looking at your account for your computer and your already in skype why are you being asked to sign in again and taking to another tab confusing go figure. Again so many problems with Skype. Yes we love them because they bring us closer to those across the world, but and there's always a butt and it aint Kims lol. Yes are getting robbed or scammed and we can't talk to a **bleep** soul about it because noboby wants to hear it or do anything. So here I stand and say what i need to and maybe by the grace of God somebody might know something and well will see. here goes, I have been trying for quite sometime for someone to look into why if i have an account. this is the begining football is on and i'll finish but i'm missing crap! I'm sorry, but I don't understand what you mean by "go to your apps".
When you open your Skype web account page from the link in your Skype application you should be automatically signed in and not required to enter your password. Are you not seeing this behaviour?

Out of the blue, my AppleTV went to a screen that had two icons, Computers and Settings. Why won't it go the the usual TV screen with viewing options? Help!
Here's what finally worked for me with Apple TV 3rd generation. Out of the box, when setup with wi-fi, it breezed through without any issue. As soon as I powered down and connected it to another tv (same wi-fi network), it got stuck at setting date/time. The remote would help in getting out of it, but the home would only have "Computers" and "Settings" and pretty much useless except for AirPlay. Here's what I did to resolve this:
1. On your main router, temporarily disable the firewall or set it to the lowest setting allowable (a reboot of the router maybe required).
2. Restart apple tv via the "restart" option in the "General" option in the main settings menu.
3. It should breeze through and not show the "Setting date/time" screen.
4. Once it loads up properly, turn on your fire wall as before (a reboot of the router maybe required).
I think it worked for me out of the box, but auto-update to the latest software introduced this bug. So, everytime apple tv tries to synch with the time server, this issue will come back. To disable this, I turned off the "auto time synch" option in Settings -> General.
I am fairly confident that I'd be able to use steps 1 through 4 anytime this recurs. Possible scenarios causing recurrence of this issue:
1. Unplugging the power to apple tv or power failures.
2. OS updates.
3. Restoring apple tv using "Restore" or via micro-usb and iTunes to the lastest OS.

Why won't my g4 desktop come on. I was trying to boot in safe mode and it would not go in safe mode. It won't come back on anymore. Can some tell me what to do.
Try Single User mode (Command+S while starting up).
Then, run fsck.
At the command-line prompt type:
/sbin/fsck -fy
Press Return. fsck will go through five "phases" and then return information about your disk's use and fragmentation. Once it finishes, it'll display this message if no issue is found:
** The volume (name_of_volume) appears to be OKIf fsck found issues and has altered, repaired, or fixed anything, it will display this message:
***** FILE SYSTEM WAS MODIFIED *****
Important: If this message appears, repeat the fsck command you typed in step 2 until fsck tells you that your volume appears to be OK (first-pass repairs may uncover additional issues, so this is a normal thing to do).
When fsck reports that your volume is OK, typerebootat the prompt and then press Return.
Your computer should start up normally and allow you to log in.

Why won't my Intel iMac boot up, either from the internal hard drive or the DVD drive? It just displays a light grey screen, without any other icons, etc. The fact that it won't boot from the original system DVD is what baffles me the most. Any ideas? If the C key for Install Disc or R Command for OS X Recovery startup commands are not working, try holding the Option key for the Startup Manager.

If that does not work and you using a wireless keyboard, it may have become unpaired and you need to dig up a USB keyboard to invoke the startup commands.

I have rearranged all icons on the second and third pages to have a just a photo on my home, but if i switch off the iphone when i restarted it all the icons come back in the old position on the home and second page. I have ios5.

And it is only a problem if you want a blank first screen. Personally, it would drive me nuts always having to swipe over one page to get to my apps - the only time I unlock my iPhone is to use it or run an app, so no, I have no need nor desire to have a first screen with no icons at all.
But, if they'd put it in as an option so people like yourself can also have what they want, that's fine too So send them your feedback (they actually do listen - iOS 5 includes a number of things people have been asking for on these forums, like being able to delete individual entries from the call history, inproved alerts/notifications, being able to opt out of all the location based data they collect,...). -

I have an ipod touch and have no similar issues - is this an itunes account setup issue?Have you tried logging out of your account via Settings > Store and tapping on your account id on the right-hand side, and the logging back in to see if that makes any difference ?
You could also try a reset and see if you can then download them after the iPad has restarted : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
A third option is to download one of the updates to your computer's iTunes and connect your iPad to it and sync it across, and then see if you can download the other apps/updates directly on the iPad. -
Why won't quicktime player work? I own Mac Book Pro with Retina Display and connote get the quicktime player to open or play quicktime movies?
Go to Finder and select your user/home folder. With that Finder window as the front window, either select Finder/View/Show View options or go command - J. When the View options opens, check ’Show Library Folder’. That should make your user library folder visible in your user/home folder. Select Preferences/com.apple.quicktimeplayer.plist. Move the .plist to your desktop.
Open the application and test. If it works okay, delete the plist from the desktop.
If the application is the same, return the .plist to where you got it from, overwriting the newer one.

Try to sign out of iTunes. Then reboot your iPad (hold down the sleep and home keys for about 20 seconds, when you see the silver apple, let go and let it reboot) then sign back into iTunes and see if you can download the app.

My app store won't work on my iPod Touch 4gen running on ios 6.1.5 and when I open app store it says "cannot connect to iTunes Store" i shut my ipod down and turned it back on but it still dosn't work but it will open on my Mac Book Air. Why won't Adobe reader no longer let me view previously download (from Safari) pdf's? I am running OSX 10.8.5 and have uninstalled and reinstalled latest version of Reader. I get this error message "Adobe Reader could not open 'OD Test Bed Proposals_0.pdf' because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded)." Try this:
Go to: Mac HD/Library/Internet Plug-ins
Trash the AdobePDFViewer.plugin and AdobePDFViewerNPAPI.plugin files
Empty the trash
Relaunch Safari. You can now download undamaged PDFs.
