Why won't my CC download and install my InDesign software?

I lost a drive on Friday and am trying to re-download and install InDesign. I have retried three times, and the message is:
UPDATE FAILED. UNABLE TYO EXTRACT THE DOWNLOAD FILES. PRESS RETRY TO DOWLOAD AGAIN. (U44M11210)
Any Clues what to do?

Simplest answer is to download the Trial version, from Adobe's website, of whichever CS6 product you have a serial number for then enter the serial number to convert the trial to a licensed version.

After power down and a cold restart, I automatically restart in my Administrator Account. Running 10.8.4 with one Administrator account, one user account and one guest account. Recently downloaded and installed 3rd party software (Panorama).

Recently downloaded and installed 3rd party software (Panorama). Installation required that I create a super user named Other with root privileges. I did so and successfully installed the 3rd party software. I powered down a few days late and when I restarted, I went automatically to my Administrator account with no login password required. I deleted the Other account, powered down and restarted with the same result - opened in Administrator. I then followed the steps to disable root user, powered down, cold restart - same result, opened in Administrator account.
Any suggestions? Any thoughts? Much appreciate any help you might offer.

Disable automatic login. Open System Preferences > Users and Groups > Login Options, press the padlock at the bottom left corner, and select "Off" next to "Automatic login"

Unable to boot computer iMac intel after downloading and installing latest iPad software

I downloaded and installed the latest iPad software and my iMac will now not boot up. The iMac was getting a little slow just prior. Is one year old and this is the first problem. I have put the system DVD in and rolled back a couple weeks. Still no start up.

There is no rollback feature on the OSX disc (which version of OSX is this, Leopard, Snow Leopard?) so I am unable to understand this unless you are referring to a restore from Time Machine, is this what you did?

If you're already running iOS 5.1.1 that is the most current version. As such, no issue exists.

Why won't QuickTime Pro validate and install?

I purchased QT Pro and have QT 7.6.7 installed already. But the registration process won't accept my registration code. Not sure why unless it is because when I open Control Panel and then open Quick Time (32-bit) that means QT Pro is not compatible with my 64-bit PC running Win7. Any suggestions?

Make sure you're entering in both the user name and key code exactly as in the email Apple sent you. Any error in either, including leaving off a salutation (for instance, if the email says "Mr. John Smith") will cause the registration to error.
Also make sure you purchased a key for the correct platform (Windows or Mac). QuickTime keys are not cross-platform.

Why can't I successfully download and install Firefox?

After unsuccessfully trying to remedy Firefox hanging every time I opened it, I uninstalled it and tried re-installing the latest version. This has been another disaster as the first couple of tries I could not even get the download to start. Once downloaded, I started on the install only to have a box appear with a message that Firefox couldn't find the required file (without specifying the file's name) and then it appeared to quit. I've similarly been unable to download a British English version from the Mozilla download site since. While I find Mozilla/Firefox files on searching my hard disk, I have no means of installing.

Then you may have an unstable Internet connection. It takes me less than 1 second to download the complete installer, and I am about 10,000km away from the Adobe download servers.
Try downloading it somewhere with a better connection, e.g. a library, then transfer it using a flash drive.

How long does it take to download and install full feature software for Officejet 4500 g510g-m?

I have been updating my software in hopes I can get my Officejet 4500 g510g-m to work wirelessly but the full feature software has been at the "installing software" stage for over an hour. Is this normal? Also, anyone know where I can find a step by step guide on setting up my printer for wireless use? Is it even possible?

The download speed is dependent on many things, but is often a factor of your Internet provider's service. If you are on basic DSL, then over an hour is not out of line. If you are on cable, something is wrong.

Can't download and install new itunes "upgrade"

I am trying in vain to upgrade my itunes to the latest version (something I need to purchase can not be purchased without the upgraded itunes version). Every time I attempt to download the new version of itunes, it says it has downloaded, but it is actually nowhere to be found on my computer. Nowhere. I have searched the entire machine, tried changing the default settings to make it drop into a specific folder. I tried restarting, using Firefox instead of Safari, and a host of other things and nothing changes.
This is insanity. How hard should it be to download a free upgrade of itunes software?

Can't download and install Updates for my brand-new (bought today) Photoshop CS6

It looks as though it's blowing up at the very end of the download process. I've tried a couple of times. Any ideas as to what to do? Is there anyway to get direct help from Adobe?

Why won't my Lightroom 4 open up for use after I successfully downloaded and installed it?

I just followed all the instructions for downloading and installing Lightroom 4 on my comp. It said it was successful but the icon on my desktop hasn't changed and every time I try to open it to edit pictures it goes back to the installation pop up.

you are clicking the installation icon again , that why this is happening , the icon doesn't get changed
to open the application go to Mac HD-->Applications--->Adobe lightroom 4 , in this folder you will have the app file to launch the application.
