Why won't my creative cloud set-up run correctly?

I downloaded the set-up app and it will not run/open anything when I try to run it.

    I'm working on a PC and when I downloaded creative cloud, the set-up icon showed up in my downloads folder, though when I double click on it, it won't start. It will ask me whether I want to run the program and when I click run, the window will then start to blink feverishly and then, nothing. Anyone have any ideas?

    I had already uninstalled my creative cloud, this took me to where I could reinstall. I was then able to update all of my apps. Believe it or not it worked.
    Then I got a survey on "Adobe Case Update and Feedback Opportunity "

    I have been trying for 2 weeks to get Creative Cloud to update to the CC versions from CS6 versions.  I've tried all the different methods I've found on the Forums.  Deleted the OOBE directory, tried to download directly from the Download page.  Nothing works!  the CCDesktop app is just a blank page - i've deleted and reinstalled the app at least 15 times - still a blank window for the CC Desktop app.  Does anyone have a workable solution?  I am running a 2011 iMac 27' 3.1 GHZ i5 core with OS 10.9.1

    I'm having the same really frustrating issue. Did the link below help you at all? It did nothing for me. This problem with the creative cloud desktop being blank happened as soon as I installed the latest update for it. Ever since then, it's been blank, and thus, worthless to me.

    I keep having problems with Creative Cloud. I can't open it without an update, but the installer fails to complete the update every time I try, so I just can't use the product at all anymore. I've tried un-installing and re-installing Creative Cloud, but even that doesn't work.

  • Creative Cloud Set-Up won't run

    I have just downloaded the Creative Cloud Set-Up program so that I can install creative cloud on my desktop P.C. but it won't run. I can see the icon on my desktop but I just can't seem to get it to open or run the program. I've tried re-downloading it and restarting the computer.

    Why won't my Creaive Cloud find new updates for software? For example, I know Illustrator 17.1 has been released with cool new features; however, my creative cloud seems to be oblivious to this update and any other updates and I do not know how to make work properly again. Creative cloud hasn't prompted me to update any software for over a month and so it is likely missing plenty of updates; however, it is the Illustrator update I want most.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Lee if you remove and reinstall Illustrator do the new updates get applied?  If not then please review your installation log files for the error which may be preventing the update from being applied.  You can find information on how to locate and interpret your installation log files at Troubleshoot install issues with log files | CC - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cc.html.  Please feel free to post any specific errors you discover to this discussion.

    Unfortunately it is not possible to install the program it always displays an error message. how can you loess the problem?
    error message: This application can not be run from a network drive-. copy it to a local folder and strarten it again.

    I have just the regular version, not Professional.
    I mean "les integrated", in the sense that you really run Fusion "in a window". The more "integrated" approach means that Windows applications run as if they were for the Mac, and you do not see the Windows interface at all. I personnaly think tjat is too confusing. There is nothing wrong with it, just a bit more confusing. i like having it clear that Windows is in a seperate Window.

  • I am very annoyed at the Creative Cloud set up and the non-stop issues and problems

    I am very annoyed at the Creative Cloud set up and the non-stop issues and problems!  I am paying monthly for this service and it is constantly failing in some way!  So far in three months I have had to uninstall and re-install Photoshop THREE times because it stopped working properly and Illustrator I have had to do that same to TWICE!  That isn't including the other apps that have had issues!  I don't have the time to constantly be un-installing and re-installing all or some of the Creative Cloud because your developers are not making a product that works consistently for the money you are charging!  It is costing me more than just this monthly fee!  And I am even less impressed with the fact that I cannot email someone for assistance in resolving these issues.  Really Adobe?

    I have downloaded the trial and done the troubleshooting recommendations but when i have downloaded my trial and open my download assistant about half way through my installation abox appears saying that a file could not be found, I have tried it mutliple times but it will still not run. I have mountain lion if that effects anything?
