Why won't my email let me attach anything? Just updated to 10.9.2 and it worked fine beforehand.
I just updated to the new OS X version 10.9.2 and all of a sudden I can't attach anything to any of my emails using the attach option. I have to copy and paste now. Before this new software update, everything was working fine. I don't know what to do now.

have you had this problem previously? the itunes store has been acting buggy today, there's another thread about it, and i was on itunes earlier this evening and was having problems.

Right click the document and select 'get info'. Check the permissions for the file. If several of these files have the wrong permissions then you may need to repair user permissions. See this for instructions:

That's not the issue though. I have all that already set up. It's just for my hotmail account. I have another account that works fine. It's just annoying to have to see all the same stupid emails on every single device, and then in my hotmail account as well. Aren't they supposed to be syncing with one another?

Why aren't my scanned photos showing up in iphoto? I have an HP scanner with the option to import directly to iphoto. It says "sending to destination" but it never gets to iphoto. I scanned hundreds of photos several months and it worked fine with the photos going directly into iphoto - now it won't work. Any suggestions?
As the feature is part of your scanner set up nd not iPhoto, you'd need to ask the makers of that for help.

Thank you, reducing the image size worked! I had used a low res file before, and with success decided to increase the resolution/size, and then it didn't work. the image did appear in small preview in the export panel, but wouldn't burn when all was said and done. the dimensions you gave worked fine. unfortunately, it makes the image a little bit fuzzy, but i dont think i can do anything about this. at least it burned it in there. thanks!

I just transferred my garage band songs from my iphone to my mac. Why won't garage band open them? I just upgraded to ilife '11. Still won't work. Garage Band cannot open files in the "data" format.. Any Ideas?
Are you trying to transfer the GarageBand projects or the rendered audio files? What version of GarageBand do you have on your iPhone?
I do not think you can share your GarageBand projects from your iPhone to GarageBand on your Mac, unless you have iCloud, afaik, only the audio files.
How did you transfer the song?

Why won't my phone back up since I just bought additional iCloud storage--- it spends hours showing "Backup in Progress" and then it just fails?! I have it plugged in next to the computer and I turn it off after hitting Backup but it never completes.... Should I just give up and try to get my money back?
I'm having the same problem with my iPad (3). It's been saying that my last backup was 10/11/2012. I have tried rebooting (holding down the home and start keys to reset) and then trying to manually do a backup to the cloud. I have tried deleting the iCloud backups for all apps & setting all of them to not be included in the cloud backup (thinking that maybe one of the apps might be hanging the backup up). I have now deleted the last iCloud backup. I guess I will wait & see if it performs its backup overnight or something. As mentioned above, it has consistently been 1) plugged in, 2) connected to a wifi network, and 3) been in lock screen mode. And yet it hasn't been backing up either automatically (iCloud Backup is set to "on") or if I touch 'Back Up Now'.
Here's something that's really annoying- these posts started last April but I see no sign that anyone from Apple Support has joined this conversation. (!!)
