Why won't my host name appear on belkin router client list

Connection to router (Belkin N1 Vision) is good and mac address is displayed ok but client name is shown as 'unknown'. I have entered a name in the DHCP clients name box and renewed the lease, but to no avail.
All other conections including HP printer, iphones, tv's PC's, even belkin powerline adaptors show their correct host names but not my 2 MAC book pros both running OS X 10.6.8. Has anyone else come accross this issue?

If it's working on that new network, then it's unlocked. But you should use a valid SIM card of the proper size. Get another, correct one from the carrier.

okay, this is actually a common problem. from your main screen select the blackberry key (next to track ball)->options->security->general settings->include address book->no->reset phone->problem should be fixed!

Why the non-cluster SQL Server appeared in the cluster nodes list

1, I install the node rs6 standalone, Why it appeared in the cluster node list by inquiry the dmv?
2, how to removed the rs6 from the cluster node list ?

But how to find the resource name? I tried to use window cluster name, SQL cluster name, and SQL role name , All of them say failed to get the cluster object.

IMHO, sys.dm_os_cluster_nodes DMV is associated with the SQL Server
Operating System (SQLOS), sys.dm_os_cluster_nodes returns one row for each node in the failover cluster configuration.
As you are running standalone instance on cluster I am assuming this information is being picked from
OS and not from RS6 SQL instance.
As you have confirmed Is_cluster is false and if you don’t see RS6 instance in failover cluster manager I don’t think anything damaged here. Everything looking as expected, dont change owner node as its standalone instance.

What version is it? Office 2004 and prior will not run in Mavericks.
If that is the case you can upgrade to 2011 (or 2008), or use one of the Office alternatives like LibreOffice, OpenOffice, or NeoOffice.
Additionally, you can open and edit Word, Excel, and Powerpoint documents in Pages, Numbers, and Keynote. You can export them as Word, Excel, or Powerpoint if you need to. Not everything is converted exactly as seen and Numbers is far less powerful than Excel.

Why won't copy/paste images appear in PDF (from Word 2007)?

I find all places in a Word 2007 document where content copied from Power Point 2007 and then pasted into a Word 2007 document does not appear in the subsequent PDF file I generate. White space of the same size as the pasted content appears in its place. Why is this happening and are there any suggestions to work around this issue? What is curious is the free PDF creation tool that you can use to generate a PDF within Word 2007 (by choosing file save-as PDF) does NOT have this same issue. I don't want to use Word's tool since it doesn't allow for the option settings flexibility I need to produce the final PDF.
I already tried saving the Word file as XML and then re-saving as Word .docx and regenerating the PDF from Acrobat: the graphics are still missing. I also tried in Acrobat Help> Repair Installation and then shut down/restarted my computer. Again, the regenerated PDF is missing the graphics.
Personally, I do not use a copy/paste method; rather, I use insert>picture>from file or paste special as a grphic file type. I know the same graphics placed this way come out fine in a PDF I generate from Acrobat. However, I support a bunch of engineers who make copy/paste a shortcut habit. I will have no luck telling them not to do this.
I appreciate any help with this.

Preferences in Acrobat reader under Page Display are already set to Show Large Images. I assume that is the setting you mentioned.
I don't know of any setting in Word 2007 that would make a difference. Does anyone else have work around suggestions?

Why won't my html snippets appear in any browser?

My website is created in iWeb 3.0.4. My server is Machighway and I upload via FTP using Cyberduck.
The problem I have been having, even on my old server before I transfered to Machighway is when I add any HTML snippet into my page, it works just fine in iWeb, but when I publish, there is just a blank space where the widget should be. I have tried viewing the site in Safari and Firefox.
I have opened iWeb and taken a screenshot to show you the twitter widget:

I have tried different html snippets, and I have the same problem with all of them. I have asked Machighway and they said they can't help me because it's a coding problem.

A Site, which is just a folder, is a convenient way to organize your pages based on topic, subject or whatever you choose to keep relevant pages together. I’ve been doing that for the past 17 years, and I find it rather natural.
But since iWeb is doing it, it seems to confuse & frustrate people. iWeb shouldn’t do it, they say. As if there is a law that demands it.
To avoid the Sitename in the URL, read my solution. It's very technical but in the end it saves time. And best of all, iWeb is not involved :

An easier, time-wasting, solution is to publish to a folder on your desktop.
Open that Site folder and move the content of that folder to the root of the webserver with a FTP application.
(The root of a webserver is where the file or folder, shown immediately to the righthand side of the domainname, is stored.)
Everytime you make changes to a page, you have to repeat these steps.
But the result is what you want.
And here's a re-post with some additional info about using an index.php file to avoid overwriting the index.html file iWeb creates :

Why won't second iPhone (work) appear anywhere on laptop?

I was hoping someone could help me as I'm going nuts trying to troubleshoot this issue
I have recently obtained a second iPhone 5 from work, to go along with my personal one. When I plug this work phone into my home laptop, it makes that "you've plugged something in" noise but nothing happens - no charging, doesn't appear in iTunes - nothing.
When I plug my personal phone in however, everything works fine. I have updated iTunes, iOS, restarted laptop, phone, the works. They're both attached to the same Apple ID.
Any idea what the problem may be?

Why won't the user name and password for my podcast save when I click "Remember this password?"

I have to enter the podcast log in information every time I update my podcast even though I click the box to remember the password.

You should have received a small booklet with the router that contains that information. however, when the Verizon tech installs the router, he/she usually logs into the router during the installation, and the router requires the password to be changed at first login. So there are two answers:
1) If nobody has logged into the router, or you have used the reset button to reset the router, the login should be : admin and password
2) If the tech did log in, they normally change the password to: password1
If you can't get in then reset the router using the reset button and use option 1.
Note: Actiontec routers include a "security" feature (a big joke!!!) that when you type the password two or three bullets appear for each key pressed. Just ignore that crap and type the password the way it should be.

Why won't my file names and edits export from iPhoto

I spent hours making edits to some photos and I see my new file names and edits in iPhoto but when I export or drag them into a new folder none of the file names or edits are copying over. How can I fix this?

Add a Title to a photo - which is what you do in iPhoto - is not the same as renaming a file. There is no way to rename a file in iPhoto, you can, however, choose to use the Title as a filename when you export.

Already downloaded iTunes 10.5, why won't ios 5 update appear?

Following what most people posted in the discussion boards, I updated my iTunes to the 10.5 so that the ios 5 update for my iphone would appear. However, when I plug in my iPhone and click on Check for Updates, it says my phone is up to date with itunes 4.2.1 and to check for updates in a week. How can I get the new software update today?? (btw I have the iphone 3gs)

here is a dumb question. When I drag my clips to the timeline only one audio track appears on the timeline and I know there are two track of audio. I must have accidently changed some settings. anyone know what's up?

Are both audio tabs connected to the timeline? Just to the left of the timeline are the V1 and A1 and A2 audio tabs from the source clips. Is one disconnected?

There could be any one of three solutions... Try these:
1. Make sure you set your own country code at Phone Dialer Screen > Options > Smart dialing.
Set your country code in this format: "+xx" where xx = your country code. Some countries have two or three digit Country Codes. Do not place the '+' in your contact's entry.
* In the US, set this Country Code as "+1", and place your loca area code in the proper box (this normally the default setting in a new BB).
2. At the same location, change the National Number Length to the number of digits for your country (since some countries will have less than 10 as set as the default in the BB). Find out the total digits, minus the country code. Do not place the '+' in your contact's entry.
* For example, some countries have a total number to 8 (plus 3 for country code). You would enter "8".
3. You may have "Content Protection" set on your Address Book.
Look at Options > Security > General Settings. Scroll down to Content Protection > Include Address Book = NO.

Why Won't 4th Gen iTouch Appear in iTunes?

When I connect my 4th generation iPod Touch to my Windows 7 PC, it no longer appears under "Devices". I have another iPod(3rd gen Nano), that syncs very sluggishly but still syncs successfully. I've uninstalled iTunes and all component software such as the Mobile Device Support in the order prescribed by Apple for this kind of problem, and re-installed iTunes(11.1.3.8), twice - including restarting my system inbetween the uninstalling and the reinstalling. I can't sync wirelessly, because that feature is currently turned off. The iPod shows up in Windows Explorer, and charges, but iTunes ignores it. It is connected directly to the PC - no hub involved.
This is a fairly recent problem, my device seems to have last been backed up on my computer on the 18th of October 2013.
Can anyone suggest something to help remedy this?

Yes, I'd already done Removing and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista or Windows 7, to no effect. I've just run the Diagnostics Sync Test, result was "No iPad, iPhone or iPad found", details below:

Why won't photos on facebook appear to view?

It will show a box of where they are throughout the pages, but it will not show any visuals of the pics.

If images are missing then check that you aren't blocking images from some domains.

You can use these steps to check if images are blocked:

Why won't the add-ons appear when I click on "Get Add-Ons"?

I've been trying to find new add-ons for Thunderbird and Firefox, but the "loading" button comes up, then a box that says "What are Add Ons" and goes into detail. Says they will show up when connected to the internet. I am connected, but nothing shows up. I don't want to have to get rid of Firefox and Thunderbird and start over again. Someone must know something that is going on with this. Any help is appreciated.
