Why won't my image appear?

Hi I have just created a website, have just uploaded it to the web and want to make a facebook link. I have read all the facebook info about og and have debugged and made a gazillion alterations to my html page and reloaded it but for the life of me I cannot make my image appear in the link. it keeps bringing up all the other images I have in my website but those image sizes are wrong so I resized the images specially and uploaded them into my images folder on the web host site. What am I doing wrong? All the other meta tags are working fine.

You charge people £250 to build them a website and you can't even handle the basics? I don't think I have ever been negative and refused to help on here before but I am afraid it is people like you that give professional web designers a bad name and take money from their pockets!
We all have to start somewhere but surely you should have at least a reasonable level of competence before you advertise yourself as a 'Web Designer'? Sure, do a few projects for friends and family whilst you are learning. Even charge them a few quid to cover your time but advertising for work at your level is not on in my opinion!

I tried to upload new pictures but all that shows up is the alternate wording. I don't know what's gone wrong. I've been using Dreamweaver CS5 for over 2 years and this problem is new.

I'd contact my hosting company with that information if it happened to me.
Looks like you don't have the ability to overwrite files with your current credentials.

more info would help. If you're using actionscript and
loading images from a folder maybe your path to that location is
wrong. It's possible that your images aren't in the right layer or
level but noticed that when initially published.

Why won't album artwork appear on I Pod Classic?

I have had this problem since iOS4 and I recently (mostly) resolved it in iOS6.
1. First make sure you do not 'Sign In' into iTunes store.
2. I used playlists to resolve the issue. Create a playlist with one song, preferably one that does not have any album art.
3. Create another playlist with all the songs you want to add.
4. With your iTouch/iPhone attached open iTunes. Go to Device->Music. Under Sync Music:choose "Selected playlists,albums and genres". Choose the one song playlist from those shown. Click on the Sync(Apply) button. This will delete all of the songs.
5. Once the deletion is complete choose the playlist with all the songs. Click on the Apply(Sync)button. This will install all the songs again and with album artwork.
6. Once all the songs have been installed click on all the playlists that you want to add (no new songs) and click on the Sync(Apply) button again.
You should now have your songs with album artwork and playlists installed. Hope this helps. The song in the one song playlist won't have any artwork even if it is included. There were some albums whose artwork were not installed. I had a 95% success rate. As I said, it mostly solves the problem for me.

Why does my IMAQ image appear "flattened"?

I have a lab camera that feeds both to a TV monitor and to my IMAQ-based LabVIEW 6.1 VI. My VI simply creates a new IMAQ image and writes it out to a PNG file. When I compare the resulting image and the TV monitor, though, the image appears "flattened", making circles appear as ovals and such.
Does anyone know why this might occur? I don't have any size specifications in my VI.

Yes, the image does appear flattened when I acquire with MAX, but not in a color-depth way. In an aspect ratio way. My camera's specs show a capture size of 768x484. I've attached a screenshot of its properties window in MAX, where it shows a different resolution (that I apparently can't change). I've tried changing the display window settings, but it comes up with an error saying "Could not open file".
I'm using the camera file for my camera (Pulnix 9701).

Select the .dmg file and double-click it. FWIW, there's no DiskImage thing in Utilities on any of my boot volumes.

When installing a new app. It won't go onto a new page and just disappears. What can I do ???

How many homescreens do you have on your iPad ? There is a limit of 11 after which they can only be accessed via the spotlight search screen (swipe your first homescreen to the right). If that is the case then you could connect the iPad to your computer's iTunes and use the screen mock-ups on the device's Apps tab to move your apps into app folders so that more apps are visible (you should be able to access the non-visible homescreens on that tab as well).
Or do you have an app age rating set in Settings > General > Restrictions that is hiding them ?
If neither of those then have you tried a reset to see if they appear after the iPad has restarted : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Why won't this swf appear when my others do?

Got one Flash file to work/show on our web site, but when I
go to place another flash file, on a different page but using the
same js code (with of course the different flash file's unique name
and details), the file doesn't appear at all...the swf (348k) and
its html from Flash are both uploaded to server, etc...can't figure
this out after about 1/2 hour...using css to position it and
asp.net. Using DW and Flash 8 to author.

Why won't my images open in photoshop?

I just upgraded from Lr3 to Lr5 and from PsCS5 to PsCS6. Yesterday (directly after upgrading Ps,) I was able to open images from Lightroom into CS6 by selecting and using cmd E shortcut. Later on last night, and today, I can't get anything to open in photoshop from lightroom. Ps launches, but nothing ever opens. I don't get any error messages or any other clue as to why the images are not loadiing. What happened and how do I fix it? I have a whole wedding to edit, and I can't get any images to open in ps. I am running Mountain Lion OS X 10..4 on a MacBook Pro. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have been having the same issue. Win7 OS - CntrlE or selecting "Edit in.." will open CCPhotoshop2014, but image will not load. As others have found, I can open the image I want directly in Photoshop using "Open" command, but no LR changes accompany the file. I attempted to delete both CCPhotoshop and CCPhotoshop2014 preferences file found in User AppData file but no success. I have had CS6 Photoshop loaded in the past, but removed it some time ago. I had uninstalled CCPhotoshop after I installed CCPhotoshop2014.
My Lightroom installation is original stand-alone. I have no other Adobe products, just CCPhotoshop2014.
I did update Lightroom from 5.4 to 5.5 before I installed Photoshop CC2014. I could not say if Lightroom 5.5 had any issue opening in PhotoshopCC as I did not try it before I updated to PhotoshopCC 2014. I do know that in "Preferences - external editor" PhotoshopCC2014 was listed in my LR5.5 preferences, as I checked that.
I used Windows control panel to uninstall PhotoshopCC2014, checking the "remove preferences" option. I then rebooted and reinstalled PhotoshopCC2014.
Success! Lightroom now will allow me to open a file in Photoshop, using the CntrlE command.

Why won't my PHOTOS appear when move from OS( to OSX? Get Unix files!

This is the problem with keeping photos electronically. I copied a number of jpeg photos from my G4 OS 9.2 to my G4 Dual OSX via SanDisk and they all appear in the desktop as Unix files! Are they worthless?

no, they are not useless. First try to double-click one. Does it open? Does it open in the correct program?
Click any photo and type Apple-i to get the information window. In the lowest third of the window you can see a pop-up menu called "Open with". Select the desired application and finally click "Apply to all".
From now on the icon should be o.k. and they should open with the assigned application.

Why won't ALL movies appear?

All that I can successfully upload can be found in the home videos menu, but the rest that I try and move from my PC to iTunes just don't get recognised anywhere.
They won't play, even though I have set the 'open with' to iTunes.
The formats are the same as the films that successfully open. (MP4).
It's just SO irritating! What can I do that doesn't involve downloading any other programs to my PC?

Actually, they will also appear if they were purchased from iTunes on a connected computer. The main difference is that on the Apple TV, rentals will begin to play once the Apple TV has calculated that in enough has downloaded to ensure continuous playback, whereas rentals made on the computer must fully download before they are available on the Apple TV.

Why won't the images load in iphoto anymore?

Iphoto has worked great for several years, all of sudden it has
sort of crashed, must be operator error.
After downloading some RAW photos from a new camera, the library
won't show any images, just blank frames. The actual photos are
in the drive, about 9000 of them, they just don't upload into the
nice, organized, date labeled iphoto library. When an individual
photo is selected, it comes up black.
I processed all the RAW photos into jpegs, thinking that was the
problem, and trashed the RAW ones. Still no luck, rebuilt the
library without success.
Running Iphoto 5, 10.4.11

What camera produced those Raws?
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

I used one of the trailer templates and created my own custom titles instead of the ones that were there (e.x. romance, starring..., action! adventure! film of the year...you get the point). And now, all of the ones that I have created won't show up. How do I get them to appear? I need this.
