Why won't my install disk enter the disc drive?

I'm trying to put an install disc into my MacBook to load my OS X onto my new hard drive. I currently have a flashing question mark in a folder on the screen which I understand is normal when you insert a new hard drive. My computer will not accept the disc. I have never used the disc drive, so am I supposed to push it in all the way or does it sense the disc as it is starting to be put in and will try to pull it in? I don't want to force it in without making sure because I want to make sure everything will go right and that there is nothing wrong with my MacBook.

Does it feel like the disc is hitting something? If not try pushing the disk in as far as it'll go and hold it there while you press the power button. The drive should suck the disc in as the computer starts up. As soon as it does press and hold the C key to start up from your install disc.

Why were no system/install disks shipped with system?

I received a brand new Lenovo system with Windows Home Basic install from telus, and the was only an install disk for the monitor. Why was the registered copy of Vista not shipped with the system? If the HD was damaged in the shipping and I had to replace it, how would I install the operation system?

Is there a way (Other than recovery disks) that I can get this? I went to make recovery disk and it asked for over 32 CD's. This is not right. This is plain silly as I wanted to remove all the shareware software that I did not want or will never use.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

When I export a PDF from InDesign CS6 with specific margins, Acrobat does not recognize the Art box. (I have PitStop Pro 11 for page box view)

We are exporting PDF's as you indicate. I see the same thing. The boxes are all the size of the original InDesign document. The PDF art box should be predicated by the margins in InDesign. When we had CS3, this worked great. Now, it seems that there is a disconnect between the two Adobe products honoring the page box size. I have contacted the Adobe techs via chat, and they had no clue what I was referring to. I find it mystifying that Acrobat can not interpret the art box set in InDesign as margins.

Turn Off your computer. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your computer. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

I am trying to boot Ubuntu 12.4 on my iBook G4, but am having trouble getting my iBook to recognize the boot disk in the CD Drive.
I have pressed "C" during boot to force it to boot from the Optical Drive. It boots normally.
I have pressed "option" to get the boot menu. The only option available is my hard disk drive.
I have pressed "option""command""shift""delete" at the same time during boot to force it to skip booting the hard disk. I get a blinking smily face/question mark for a while, then it shows the boot menu, at which point the only available option is my hard disk drive.
In system preferences in OS X I have looked to change the boot drive, but the only option, again, is the hard disk.
Can I not boot from the Optical Drive?

I do recall it being very limited when it came do downloading Linux software that supported PPC.
You wouldn't be any better off than using firefox or safari on Mac OS X 10.4.11.

Not all apps support screen rotation. The Home screens do not rotate. But also check to make sure you have not locked screen rotation. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to reveal the Control Center and check that rotation lock is not on.

To troubleshoot this issue where your Wi-Fi network is dropping, please follow the directions outlined below.
