Why won't my iPad connect to the wifi when my iPhone is right next to it, and my phone gets perfect wifi connection?
I am currently having a problem with my iPad 2. It won't connect to my home wifi as well as my iPhone 4s. I have them both sitting right next to me and my phone has perfect wifi connection while my ipad can't even find the wifi. I've been having this problem for a while now. I've resetted it numerous times, had it looked at at the Apple store, and much more to try to fix this problem. I don't know what to do. Thanks for your time.

Why can I only connect to the internet using my IPhone 5S 4G via a USB and not wirelessly?
Apologies if I'm not using the right jargon ... I have a laptop (Dell Latitude D510 - Windows 7 Ultimate) that can connect to my Mobile Broadband wirelessly no problem but I can't utilise my IPhone's 4G connection (iOS 7.0.5) unless I use the USB cable (my personal hotspot is also on). I can't connect wirelessly to my personal hotspot without the USB cable. It keeps saying Windows is unable to connect to my IPhone. I have tried to troubleshoot this myself but can't find an obvious problem. Interestingly I could only connect via my USB when I downloaded the ITunes program as my computer failed to recognise my IPhone. Furthermore, I have a Dell Alienware laptop which has no problems connecting to my IPhone either way - USB or wirelessly (also has ITunes downloaded). I've searched the Internet forums for an answer on but I can't find one. Can anyone help? Thanks if you can.

The steps that should work are.....
Tap iTunes Store, App Store, or iBooks Store
At the bottom of the Featured page, tap Sign In. If you're already signed in, skip to step 5.

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just canceling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

It says 'not charging' in the top right hand corner.
Can anyone help please?Ipad requires high power USB port for battery charging and obviuosly your laptop USB is not. Although it shows not charging, it does charge but very slowly if you turn off the screen.

Why won't my video appear in the viewer when the music role is enabled?
My video suddenly stopped displaying in the viewer but the music and dialogue sill plays. I noticed that when I disable the music role I can get the video to appear in the viewer and the dialogue plays, but of course the music doesn't. I need both to play at the same time!!! Is there some setting I inadvertently selected?

A computer USB port does not provide enough power to charge and run the iPad at the same time but it will charge it if the iPad is turned off. It will take about four times as long to charge than with the iPad charger.
The Contacts icon may be inside a folder, such as Utilities.
There is no Facetime icon. Start a Facetime link from a contact. -
I get a little box asking me what sort of connection I want to get to the internet, but I am already connected to the web when this happens. This just started happening, and I haven't changed any settings. How do I get rid this box (it asks me if I want dial up or broadband).

Why won't my iPad mini allow my gopro 32gb SD card to transfer video using the lightening to SD card camera reader?
The gopro transfer worked with my original iPad. Is it the lightening technology?If you've gone through all that and it's the right kind of SD card, right naming convention etc. try giving your iPad a reset. Sometimes that port gets turned off (for lack of a better term) and a reset turns it back on. Hold down the sleep and home keys until you see the silver apple. Let it reboot and try again.
If it still doesn't work, if you have access to another iPad try the reader on that. THere are some defective ones out there. If it works on another iPad then there's something going on with yours. If it doesn't work on another iPad then you may want to take that reader back and exchange it because it may be bad. -

Are you using the same apple ID and password?
it seems all is in order, but perhaps the password isn't valid.
if the reset didn't work, try signing out of iTunes and App Store, then back in.
have you tried going to App Store - purchased and tapping on the cloud icon for the apps you want? You will still be asked for your password.
