Why won't my iPad password work on my iPhone and iPad?
I just changed my password for iTunes. It works fine when I want to get into iTunes but it won't work when I want to upgrade or buy apps in iPhone or iPad.

Why won't my messages sync on both my iphone and ipad?
Since I've installed the latest software update for my iphone 4 and ipad 3 my messages are not syncing with both devices. Today for example I had a message sent to me at 2pm that went to my ipad (which was at home) instead of my phone.
Does anyone know how to fix this? I have the same email address and contact number set up for both........I found a solution that worked for me. I had this same problem and I feel like I tried everything. No matter how many time I synced, the songs appeared to be on my phone, but they would just get skipped over if I tried to play them ("ghost" songs). The answer is not checking and unchecking artists/playlists/etc in iTunes. The phone still thinks the songs are there so it won't sync them to the phone. Here's what to do: go to Settings --> Music and then make sure "Show All Music" is off. Then go to the Music app and try to play through your songs. Now, when a song is skipped over it should no longer appear in the iPhone's library. Once all songs are skipped (could take a few minutes depending on the size of your library), the "ghost" songs will disappear. On the next sync iTunes will put them all back on the phone. Why won't my sim card work in my iPhone 4?
I have an iPhone 4s that is originally from Australia. I had my phone unlocked by my carrier back in Australia but now when I try to put my UK sim card in, it pops up with a message that says 'Sim Not Valid'. It says the Sim installed is from a carrier that is not supported under the activation policy that is currently assigned by the activation server. It then tells me to contact my server to get my iPhone unlocked, where as I know my iPhone is already unlocked by my carrier. Any information that would be helpful, is kindly appreciated.

The passcode you need to enter is not your Apple password. It is the four digit passcode you enter when turning on your iPad or waking it from sleep after an AutoLock. If you forgot your passcode you'll have to restore the iPad in iTunes.

The Apple IDs from @mac.com and @me.com (Older MobileMe and more recent iCloud Names) are also Valid AIM Screen names.
Any other sort of Apple ID is not a Valid AIM Name.
A Google ID that is associated with Google Mail Account (And has "Talk" enable on your Google Settings) can be used in iChat as Jabber Name/ID. (Google Run Jabber server).
Jabber and AIM are different IM Services and it is not easy or straight forward to add Buddies from one Service to the Buddy List of another. (As A Starting point consider it "impossible")
iChat 4 and 5 have links to the registration page of @Mac.com here with a "Get an iChat Account" button in the add (Account) screen (You select @mac.com or MobileMe and then press the Button - Choosing AIM and then pressing the button used to lead to the AIM registration page but AIM moved their page).
Apple IDs can be any valid email (or an @mac.com or iCloud registration)
Therefore you could make a Google ID into an Apple ID.
However this will not be a valid AIM Screen Name the way @mac.com or MobileMe/iCloud ones are.

there might be something different on the mac you can try appleid.apple.com and reset your password i would also check the mac to see which appleid is signed you may have multiple apple ids and not know

Are you using the same apple ID and password?
it seems all is in order, but perhaps the password isn't valid.
if the reset didn't work, try signing out of iTunes and App Store, then back in.
have you tried going to App Store - purchased and tapping on the cloud icon for the apps you want? You will still be asked for your password. -

The gopro transfer worked with my original iPad. Is it the lightening technology?If you've gone through all that and it's the right kind of SD card, right naming convention etc. try giving your iPad a reset. Sometimes that port gets turned off (for lack of a better term) and a reset turns it back on. Hold down the sleep and home keys until you see the silver apple. Let it reboot and try again.
If it still doesn't work, if you have access to another iPad try the reader on that. THere are some defective ones out there. If it works on another iPad then there's something going on with yours. If it doesn't work on another iPad then you may want to take that reader back and exchange it because it may be bad. -

A computer USB port does not provide enough power to charge and run the iPad at the same time but it will charge it if the iPad is turned off. It will take about four times as long to charge than with the iPad charger.
The Contacts icon may be inside a folder, such as Utilities.
There is no Facetime icon. Start a Facetime link from a contact.
