Previously it all worked, even after my iOS update, however recently these program's have stopped me playing videos YouTube saying playback error and itv saying connection error and 4od just freezes at the first advert straight away, I have tried refreshing it,restarting it and shutting it down as well as closing every app and deleting apps then re installing them but nothing works!! The only thing I haven't done is reset it to factory as I'm worried I'll lose all my apps. PLEASE HELP!!! P.s. my safari has stopped opening too, had to install google

  • Why won't my Ipod touch 4th generation no longer sync to my computer?

My Ipod touch 'used to sync' to the computer. It was recently reset at BestBuy. Could this have caused a problem?

    What happens when you try?

Can you provide any info at all?

  • Why won't my iPod touch 3rd gen. let me slide to unlock? Could it be fixed for a low price?

I come across my old iPod touch third gen. I charge and boot it up. When it got to the lock screen I couldn't slide it to open. I tried restoring it, and about 15-25 minutes later, it boots up, and I still couldn't open it. I dunno, like 2 years ago, I was charging it. I wanted to listen to my music with my earphones on. But it kept pausing the music, but I don't know why. So I got mad at it, haha, and threw it at the floor. And then I guess it stopped working. A year later maybe, I got an iPad 4th gen. And today I found my old iPod. And then found that it doesn't work. I just want to know if it can be fixed, but I don't think I will use it... There are no Apple Stores in North Dakota, so I don't know. I think the closest one is in Minneapolis, Minnesota. But I can't drive that far..... Just wondering, but doesn't really need to be fixed cuz I have my iPad    I love it so much :) but yeah. Just wondering. Thanks!

    Try:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - Try on another computer
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

  • Why won't my ipod touch gen 5 play audio on my Sony speaker dock

Why won't my ipod touch gen 5 play audio on my Sony RDP-X30iP speaker dock. I have bought a lightning adapter and find that there is no audio from the speaker dock and the dock does not charge the ipod.

    - Reset the dock
    - Go to Sony's support site and check to see if they say it will work with a 5G iPod touch (w/adopter).
Also look for a firmware update.
    Sometimes this works:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Reset all settings

Or, it just may not be compatible.

i have an ipod touch 2nd generation.is there is any other way to download apps which require ios4.3..please give me one solution.........

Try downloading apps on your iPod (not on your Mac or PC). Apple now permits downloading "last compatible versions" of some apps.

  • Why won't my iPod touch recognize my 30pin cord? (1st generation)

(ipod touch first generation) i plug in my 30pin cord(to charge and to play music on my car stereo) and it wont recognize it. i have to either apply lots of pressure of pushing the plug in and up in order for it to connect. i used rubber bands to hold the cord in tight but now it doesnt even work with them on. i was lucky enough to find a sweet spot if i angle the plug in then it will connect but that only works when i charge it from my computer. If i try that in my car then when i drive the car bumps it out of place and i cant listen to music without it stopping every now and then. i dont know whats wrong with it? maybe its broken? time for a new ipod touch?

    - Have you tried another cable?
    - Look at the dock connector on the iPod. Look for abnormalities like bent or corroded contacts, cracked or broken plastic.
    - If the dock connector is bad there are some thrid-party places that will replace the connector. Google for them. It might not be worth it for a 1G iPod.

  • Why won't my iPod touch (4th gen) no longer connect to wifi?

Yesterday I noticed that my iPod Touch (4th generation) was no longer connected to my home wifi. It can see the network, but it won't connect. There is no error message of any kind, but the spinning wheel thing comes up to the left of the network name and it won't quit. I took my iPod to work today (as I normally do), and it did not join the network there either. Same thing- it saw the network, but would not join. What can I do to fix this problem?

Does the iOS device connect to other networks?
Does the iOS device see the network?
    Any error messages?
    Do other devices now connect?
Did the iOS device connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Power off and then back on your router
.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
    - iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
    - Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
    - iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
    - Restore from backup. See:
    iOS: How to back up
    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem and it does not connect to any networks make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

  • Why won't my iPod touch turn on or charge?

My iPod touch 4th Generation will not charge or turn on. I have tried to hold the power button and the home button for ten seconds to get it to turn on after I had it plugged into my macbook. iTunes does not recognize it. What do I do now?

Well there's not much you can do yourself, since: 1) iTunes doesn't recognize it, and 2) it doesn't turn on.
For you to be able to do anything, one of those needs to work.
Unless I'm wrong, you should just take it to the Apple store. Getting it fixed for free by professionals will be worth the drive, and much better than having a dead iPod forever.

  • Why won't my iPod touch work in my 2011 altima

I have a iPod touch 2nd generation using version 4.2.1.. Can I make this device work in my 2011 altima

Have you contacted the manufacturer of the car system?  Maybe they have a firmware update that will fix the problem.  Alternately, you can use the headphone jack on the iPod to input to an AUX in if the car has it or get a FM transmitter for the iPod.
