Why won't my itunes even start?
my itunes was working perfectly then i tried to download a movie and itunes said to upgrade. so i did so. Once i upgraded and restarted my computer i tried to open itunes so i could download the movie. and it wouldn't open. nothing happened. the hour glass icon popped up for a second and went away.. i clicked on itunes again.. didn't work. so i'm at a loss for what to do. i tried everything I could think of. does anyone else know what to do?

There's a chance you might have a hosed install of iTunes 7 and require a reinstall of QuickTime, but I don't know too much on that front. Hopefully some other people will come and help you out with the process, but I think the upgrade went bad and that's what's causing the problem.

Why won't OS X Mavericks start downloading when I click the download button? It thinks and acts like it starts downloading with the thinking circle moving then stops and goes away. I have tried going to the purchases in the app store and restarting it there and that is not working either.

Looks like you have a 3G not a 3Gs...
Connect to iTunes on the computer you usually Sync with and “ Check for Updates “...
If an Update Appears Install it... if not... you are up to date for your particular Device...

Yes you placed a hold but then when I went to complete an in app purchase it says I can't. I have no restrictions on this **** thing and never had this problem.. Why won't your iTunes communicate with my games so I can purchase stuff. I have an iPad mini just trying to play a **** game.

I am sorry but that comany has both Windows and Mac versions. And no where in the OPs first post does it say I am certain I have the Mac version.

I'm having problems installing iTunes 10.6.3.25 on Windows 7 (32bit).
Everytime i try to install the program it just stops in the middle of the process and starts rolling back the action.
Afterwards i get no errormessage at all, it just says "the program has encountered some errors before iTunes could be configurated."
I have deleted all other apple programs like Bonjour, Mobile Device Support, Quicktime and the Updater (I'm using the installer directly downloaded from the site), but that didn't help;
Afterwards i tried to delete my temp file and reboot my pc, which didn't help either.

It sounds like you are unable to open iTunes even after uninstalling and re installing the application. I suggest the troubleshooting steps in the following article named:

Follow these steps to resolve the issue:
Check for .dll files
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes and C:\Program Files\iTunes and look for .dll files.
If you find QTMovie.DLL, or any other .dll files, move them to the desktop.
Reboot your computer.
Note: Depending on your operating system, you may only have one of the listed paths.
Uninstall and reinstall iTunes
Uninstall iTunes and all of its related components.
Reboot your computer. If you can't uninstall a piece of Apple software, try using the Microsoft Program Install and Uninstall Utility.
Re-download and reinstall iTunes 11.1.4.
The steps do involve uninstalling not just iTunes but its associated applications as well for a fresh install.

For years i download off a website audiobooks and magazines in aac format from a website. I name and save the file and then when it downloads i open it and it automatically would open in itunes and then remain in itunes. I could then sync it to my ipod, iphone. Simple, easy. All of a sudden after downloading the last recent itunes software update. 10.3 i think. everything stopped working. i download a new files and i can't open them in itunes. i cant drag it, i cant directly import the file. i cant even open the file using right click open with. itunes. I can open the file in windows media player so i know the file is good. I figured something might have been up with that version of itunes so i wanted for a new update, hoping that it would fix it itself. Didn't work. So i have the most current version of itunes. All the files i want in itunes are saved and neatly organized. i wonder if it's possible to just scrap everything and drag everything into a fresh downloaded version of itunes.

Why won't my itunes connect with my music even though its authorized?
I tried to unsync my Ipod but when I did it it said that I have a total of 39 errors because My computer wasn't Authorized. But I went to go authorize my computer and it said ok now your computer is authorized out of 5, but what came up before still came up again. How do I solve this problem???
