Why won't my keyboard type

I was typing on my computer this morning and walked away. When I came back, it won't type. When I unplug my mouse and use my arrows, they don't work and the keys don't work but my mouse does work. It is plugged in and I unplugged and left it off a while. I unplugged everything and replugged everything in. My numbers lock is not on. Does anyone have any suggestions.

Close and stop the firefox running in background, restart your mobile and try it..

Could you provide more detail on what you are doing? Using Mail? Does the keyboard appear when you touch the new Mail icon?
Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds).
No data will be lost.

Why doesn't my keyboard type properly when I am using Googlemail for email?

When I am using googlemail, my new Toshiba Satelitte L350 doesn't type properly - constantly missing letters/spaces - i have to slow down incredibly to check that each letter has registered on the screen. The laptop keyboard has this problem, as well as plug in keyboards. No other application is affected ie i can type at speed in word
Anyone come across this problem?

This issue has nothing to do with your notebook. This question is here on the wrong place. Try to contact Google support and ask them why this happen?
To be honest I have noticed similar behaviour when I write mails on GMX mail. Some letters are simply missing.
Believe me it has nothing to do with notebook functionality.

Why won't the keyboard shortcuts in Illustrator CC 2014 work in Mac OS 10.9.4?

I have a Mac Pro (Late 2013) with these specs:
Processor 3 GHz 8-Core Intel Xeon E5
Memory 64 GB 1867 MHz DDR3 ECC
Graphics AMD FirePro D700 6144
Software OS X 10.9.4 (13E28)
I downloaded the latest Adobe software today so not sure what the issue is.

I have checked the system prefs and there don't seem to be any corresponding keyboard shortcuts to interfere with them. When I choose the "Use all F1, F2, etc. keys as standard function keys" on the keyboard prefs pane (see below), then the Illustrator shortcuts work, but it disables the basic functions in the Finder and other programs. There is some conflict but I can't figure out the right settings for both Illustrator and the Mac OS to work properly.

Do you have Keyboard Clicks set to On in Settings>Sounds (at the bottom)?

My keyboard shows pretty much everywhere except on the search menu that's all the way to the left. It is blank and I can press letters but the keyboard is not there so it's hard knowing what your typing. I've had this problem for 2 days now and it still persists.

Same size like numeric keyboard, but without numeric buttons and model with wire or wireless, i'm just curious why they haven't manufactured this kind of product yet.
I have iMac Early 2008 (Upgraded with 128 GB ssd) and Macbook air 2014, sometimes i feel odd carrying separately keyboard and mouse if i want to plug my macbook with IPS display, so it would be lot help if they were combined.

IPhone keyboard won't let me type the word "fixes"

When I try to type the word "fixes", the iPhone (3G, with iPhone OS 2.2) keyboard won't let me type the word "fixes". If I hold down my finger for the last letter, and move it left and right, I can see that it is refusing to allow "S" to be typed. It switches between "A" and "D".
I have seen other examples of this in the past, where the keyboard simply refuses to type some letters, but never on a common English word before.
Has anyone found a way around this, other than accepting the wrong letter, backspacing, and re-typing?

All this time, I thought it was me...I couldn't for the life of me type my daughter's name, Caitlin, into the phone. I would always get C-A-I-R-L-I-N. Again, thought it was just me not being able to hit that key right, though I don't really have a problem with anything else. Then this weekend, I finally tried to force the phone to type it right by trying to slide my finger to the "T", and it was completely skipped over. I went back and forth from "R" to "Y" several times. Nope, the "T" refused to be typed. Now that I know it's a confirmed bug, I feel a little bit better about my iPhone typing skills.

If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem. Likely a bad digitizer.
