Why won't my MacBook connect to my wireless internet at home?

I'll try to give as many details as I can:
I'm a freshman in highschool & have a MacBook from my school that I use for the year. It's just a regular MacBook, not an air or anything. In class the other day, my computer froze up completely, so I used the command-option-escape, or whatever, to force shut down my machine. When I booted it back up at school, it worked just fine & connected to the internet. But when I brought it home, it wouldn't connect to my home wireless internet. It has always hooked up in the past perfectly fine. It's not a problem with the connection, because my Dell laptop & iPod touch connect off my wireless just fine. It's just this device. It also doesn't connect at my church, just at my school it works. I'm using en ethernet cord right now, but I'm confined to about 3 feet from my router, so I have to sit in one room.
I tried restarting it, shutting it down, zapping the PRAM, etc. I even brought it into my school's Help Desk, & the lady tried several things that didn't work. We tried deleting the name from my keychain & history, but it just does the same thing. There's an exclamation point over the wi-fi bar, & it shows that I have a full connection. It just doesn't connect. I have a MacBook, but I'm not sure what iOS it is. I know it's 4-something, but I don't know exactly, sorry.

These are suggestions for connecting an iPad. Some are also applicable to your MB.

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

Sometimes a complete power cycle of the network will get things back in sequence. If you haven't already done this, power down every device on your network, order is not important.
Make sure the printer is connected to the USB port on the AirPort Extreme
Power up the modem first and let it run for 45-60 seconds by itself
Power up the AirPort Exteme next the same way
Power up each device the same way until everything is back up
Make sure that you are selecting the "right" printer because it is in effect installed at two different locations on your network...one at the Mac and the other location is the AirPort Extreme.
If still no help, Apple's Printer Troubleshooting Guide would be a good route to take.

My macbook pro will not recognize my lexmark x4650 printer to use wirelessly. I recently had to change router and modem through comcast and have not been able to print wirelessly since. I can print using a usb and the pc in our house is able to print wirelessly. I installed updates for apple, lexmark, uninstalled and reinstalled printer, tried adding printer manually using directions I found on forum discussions. Any other suggestions?

I had almost the same thing happen the other day - kept getting a message that my printer was not connected. I went to the printer setup on the printer's panel and the IP address was correct, everything looked as if it should be working. So I just reset my router - figuring that would fix the problem. No go. What I finally ended up doing was resetting my router to factory settings and setting it up anew.
And that's what worked for me.

Ever since getting the printer, my laptop has always been able to send things to the printer with absolutely no problem. As far as I know, it works because the printer is connected to the same wireless network as my computer.
However, none of my colleagues are able to print, despite being connected to the same network.
Is there something else they need to do? A lot of the time, the printer is not even showing up on their drop down box (when they try to print in microsoft word for example), but it always does on mine, and we are all on the same wireless network.
Any ideas?!

For issues with Mac I would suggest posting in the Mac Printing and Scanning forum here. Be sure to mention the printer model and also what version of OS X the users have.

Ok, so sometimes apple's servers may crash, temporarily. Just check the following site: http://www.apple.com/uk/support/systemstatus/
and it will notify you of any crashes. The link above is for the UK. Change to adapt to your country if you are outside of the UK. If your problem isn't listed I am sure it will be resolved within 24 hours. If this problem persists best thing is to contact apple.

My ipad and iphone works perfect. It's a certificate problem. Try to reset the keychain http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5813
Didn't work for me, so I'm calling apple support or maybe reinstall maverick if they can't solved it

To check that the battery is damaged, open System Information or System Profiler (in /Applications/Utilities), choose Power in the sidebar, and copy here "Charge Information" and "Health Information". You can also check your battery status in the battery menu, on the menu bar. If its status is Replace Now or Service Battery, take your MacBook Pro to an Apple Store or reseller to have the battery replaced for free.

Have you contacted Sprint? See if they can resolve your issue, if you can't get 3G.

Several possibilities -
The disk may be from a different model of computer.
