Why won't my macbook read my 128gb sd card?
I've put my micro sd in a usb reader and my mac book says 'disk inserted was not readable by this computer' and i have the options to initialize, ignore or reject.
I'm trying to put films i have downloaded onto it and it works fine in my partners laptop. any idea why?
also what is the slot on my macbook next to usb ports, is it for memory card?

So your MicroSD card works in another computer but you get it's not readable with your MacBook Pro.
Your MacBook Pro (13-inch Mid 2012) does have an SDXC Card slot.

If you are charging with your computer switch to the wall charger. It can supply twice the current.
But the real problem is something on your phone that is using power faster than the charger can replenish it. You need to find what it is and fix it. If you have an MS Exchange email account that is the likely cause. Go into Settings for it and turn off all of the switches, reboot your iPhone and see if the problem is solved. If it is, turn the switches back on.
If that is not the problem go to Settings/General/Background Apps Refresh and turn it off. Then reboot the phone again. If this solves the problem turn it back on, and turn off individual apps until you find the offender -

Yeah. I bought a couple of CD's and I wanted to import the music into my iTunes library.
So, I put a CD in and it didn't make the normal CD spinning sound and my Macbook spat out the CD. At first I thought it was a problem with the CD. Then I tried another CD and had the same problem. Then I put in another CD and another CD and realized it's probably my mac that's having a problem.
I've had my MacBook since August of last year and it's never previously had this problem.
If you have a solution to this problem, don't hesitate to give me the answer to my problem.Restarted the computer?

You probably have a CD formatted for Windows only.
Do you see the CD in Utility Disc ? there are the informations about the Cd. -

To check that the battery is damaged, open System Information or System Profiler (in /Applications/Utilities), choose Power in the sidebar, and copy here "Charge Information" and "Health Information". You can also check your battery status in the battery menu, on the menu bar. If its status is Replace Now or Service Battery, take your MacBook Pro to an Apple Store or reseller to have the battery replaced for free.

Any ideas?Usually this means the phone was previously jailbroken or hacked to unlock it from the carrier it was locked to, and the update re-locked it to that carrier.

I just purchased a MacBook pro that is about 4 years old and is running Mac OS X Server 10.6.8, I have read that my Mac should be compatible for an upgrade to Mavericks but went to the app store to purchase it and it didn't work. It says that my processor isn't compatible, but I read that my version of MacBook Pro should be able to upgrade to Mavericks. Why won't it let me upgrade? and also, if I can't upgrade, is this the best software that is compatible for my Mac?
If you can upgrade, check to make sure your applications are compatible. PowerPC applications are no longer supported after 10.6.

Test after taking each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. Stop when the problem is resolved. Back up all data before making any changes.
Sometimes the cause of the problem may be an outage in Apple's network, in which case none of the steps below will have any effect. You just have to wait for the outage to be fixed. That should rarely, if ever, take more than a few hours.
Step 1
Sign in to the App Store by selecting Sign In from the Store menu. If you're already signed in, sign out and then sign in again.
Step 2
Log out or restart the computer.
Step 3
Remove or disable "LittleSnitch" or any similar third-party software that blocks outgoing network connections according to the developer's instructions.
Step 4
Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem.
Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or earlier, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode.)
Step 5
If possible, connect to a different network and test.
Step 6
There are reports that resetting the PRAM may solve the problem in some cases. I can't confirm. -

Sorry what is "card I bought" mean? Are you saying that somebody sold you a card with the serial number on it without the media (CD or DVD) to install from?
If this is so then you could download the trial version from Adobe website and use the serial number you have got on the card. If this is not what you meant, then please post back and explain again for us to understand the problem.
Please bear in mind that these forums are used by people all over the world so some terminology might be different in different countries.
