Why won't my Photo Stream update to my new iPad?

I just upgraded to an iPad4 and after a bit of a struggle all my apps were successfully installed from my original iPad.
But, photostream only lownloaded the last 2 weeks of photos (only about 6 from my iPhone).
How can I get the rest of what's in PhotoStram uploaded to the iPad?

I'm having the same problem with both my iPhone 5 and my iPad.

Why won't some photos or videos sync to my iPad when they work fine with iPhoto and iTunes? Other photos taken with same camera sync fine from iPhoto while certain events are inexplicably incompatible. I've recently foundvthecsame occurrence with certain mp3s and videos from iTunes.

For photos try deleting the photo cache from your computer and then re-try the photo sync and see if they then copy over - the location of the cache, and how to delete it, is on this page http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1314
Not all video formats that work in iTunes are compatible with the iPad - the supported formats are (from http://www.apple.com/ipad/specs/) :

Have you tried Advanced > Create iPad Version and then sync those versions to the iPad

Only part of my photo stream appears on my new ipad

I have an iPhone 5 and ipad, all using same Apple ID. I just bought a new mini and used the same Apple ID to set it up. I currently have 850 photos in my photo stream (on my phone and original ipad) but only 250 of the photos are appearing on my new ipad. I have photo stream enabled on all devices. The 250 photos go back exactly one month. How can I get the other 600 photos onto my new ipad?

Many thanks for your question today.
In short The photos you upload to My Photo Stream are stored in iCloud for 30 days to give your devices plenty of time to connect and download them.
You cannot have photos on My Photo Stream on iCloud stored for more than 30 days.
If you want to have all your images from your devices on your new iPad.
Import all your images to your Mac or Pc and then:
Go to iTunes
(New) (Name's) iPad
Go Photos
Click Sync Photos from
Click on the folder and click choose
Find the library where the images were saved and click on the import button
Click sync and then all your images from the other iDevices will be on your new iPad

dng converter and cr are two different programs.
while they both do the same thing, the dng converter is a stand-alone app that does not install into another adobe program and cr installs into another adobe app like photoshop, lightroom etc.
and the latest version (as of 6/25/14) is cr 8.5.
download the dng converter is you have an app that's to old to accept cr 8.2 (or cr 8.5).

Your iPhone is connected to your computer but are you using iTunes to try to update or are you looking at the Settings>General>Software update button in the phone?
If you are not, I suggest you connect to iTunes and try to download and install iOS 6.1.3. using iTunes and the computer's internet connection. Also check that you have the latest version of iTunes installed in your computer.

After updating to iOS 5.1. Photo stream stopped working on my iPad 2. I tried turning it off and on.reset the iPad too. I didnt do anything else to make photo stream stop working.I tried closing the camera app before trying to access photo stream and waited to see if it would upload to iCloud and nothing. Having the same problem on my wife's iPad2. All settings are correct. If I take a pic with the iPad, it shows up on her iPhone4 in Photo Stream. When I access Photo Stream on her iPad2, there is nothing there. Here's the really weird part: when I add a photo to iMessage on her iPad2, it lets me select Photo Stream and the photos are there!!! I had a one on one with my apple rep yesterday. They backed up my camera roll from my iphone as well as my ipad on my computer as I was not able to backup to icloud due to lack of space.
They advised me to delete photos from my photo stream on my iphone and ipad and then do a back up.
I deleted the photos from photo stream on my iphone and ipad.
I was able to backup my iphone but NOT my ipad as it is saying that there is not enough room on icloud to do this back up.
Any solution?

Why won't some of my numbers spreadsheets from my iPad open with iCloud on my Mac (Yosemite)? When I look at the files in FiNader there's a grey bar next to the files that won't open.

I am having the same problem. Created new spreadsheet on iPad with fresh iOS and Numbers installs (3/2015) and am unable to open this spreadsheet in iCloud in Safari on MacBook Air (all current). I get the following message:
"Sorry, something went wrong.
This spreadsheet can't be opened right now. Please try again later."
Tried reopening on Mac from iCloud and resaving; still cannot open.
Quick fix: Copying the spreadsheet content from the iPad spreadsheet to one created on the desktop recovers the ability to open it in iCloud in Safari.

Not sure of what? In your second response you said the issue was with airplay. You were also having issues connecting laptop to computer, which points to a laptop connectivity issue. I simply asked if home sharing was an issue as well, since that will confirm the laptop as the cause. Your response that home sharing is on doesn't really help since that doesn't itself have a bearing on airplay nor does it answer the question in regards to if home sharing is working on Apple TV
If you have a further question you will need to be specific.
