Why won't my "shuffle" turn off?

I just want to play a playlist in the order I've created it. When I click on "shuffle" in order to deselect it, it just shuffles to a different song. How do I deselect shuffle? I know I used to do this . . . Seems like it should be simple.

For some reason the tiny GPS arrow on the top of the screen next to BatteryUse stays on.
I have no apps using it right now. It is just on.
It is only slightly anooying, I can live with it, but I fear it is using up the battery a lot faster.

Why won't my flashlight turn off?

Yesterday, I noticed that the flashlight on the back of my phone was on while I was using my phone and it would turn off and turn back on at random. When I turn the flashlight on it gets brighter but when I turn it off it just dims a little bit. I've tried powering it off and charging it but it still comes on randomly. I've noticed it happens more when I touch certain parts near the flashlight on the back or if the case touches it it comes on. My apple support just ran out last month, anyone know what to do?

To make sure that this is not software related, try to set it up as new device without using the latest backup afterwards.

I have the same problem with my device specially with the NFL App and after maybe 2hrs of research I found out that Verizon has implemented that messege/restriction to keep the app "TRUE" mobile only. What I'm saying is that you won't get the NFL App to play no matter what you do if connected to HDMI adapter or AirPlay. I hope this helps more than the other/previous post. Have you created another admin user? Go to system preferences click users and click the + to add a user; if you haven't already. Once you have another admin user other then the "test" user make sure you're signed out of the test user account. Sign in with the alternate ADMIN USER that you just created or had created already and go back to SYSTEM PREFERENCES and click the same USERS icon near the bottom. Now select the TEST user and click the - sign. This should prompt you if your sure you want to delete the user account. And your done.
New User created and Test User deleted... I hope this helps.

Not all apps support screen rotation. The Home screens do not rotate. But also check to make sure you have not locked screen rotation. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to reveal the Control Center and check that rotation lock is not on.

First is your volume turned up and not muted?
Also check system preferences/sound/sound effects, make sure play sound effects thru internal speakers is checked, make sure alert volume is turned up (not all the way down), Play user sound effects id checked.

Settings>Cellular>Use Cellular Data for and turn Maps off. If you are not using Maps for navigation, it's not using data, though.

Ipad won't charge unless turned off

My iPad 2 won't charge unless turned off and in some cases not at all. It does this off and on. Typically, it'll stop charging when turned on and I can turn it off and charge it to over 40% (or so. . . .it varies) and then it will charge the rest of the way while turned on. And then, I can go through long periods --maybe a month-- where it will charge as usual (while on) but then suddenly it will stop charging while on and will only do so when off. This back and forth has gone on for several months. Today it stopped charging even when off. Given history, it might kick in and start charging suddenly but I fear that the battery could run out this time and I'll not be able to charge and restart it. I'm at 20%. I am using the iPad 10W charger and I have a new one so the cord is good and it works to charge my iPhone as well. I have also tried rebooting the system, holding down the home and start button. Anyone have experience with this and a solution?

you can also try the universal troubleshooting step of resetting your iPad. No data is lost so don't worry.
You can reset your iPad by simultaneously pressing and holding the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons until you see the Apple Logo. This can take up to 15 seconds so be patient and don't release the buttons until the logo appears.
Try again to see if the problem persists.
