Why won't PS CC 2014 fully open and run? Has been a problem for about two months and previously all was OK. Using same machine (iMac running 10.9.5) and have not changed any settings or provided add-ons.
I am new to this. My question is as per the header line.
Ok, I was hoping it would be simple. Next to try are Plugins, Permissions, and Fonts.
If you have no third party Font managers, or plugins, this might be easier. Then you would repair permissions and check your system fonts.

About uninstalling and reinstalling: I use the CS Cleaner tool after I uninstall to get rid of anything that the uninstall missed before I reinstall.

My iphone just randomly stopped notifying me when I got an email, text or voicemail. Sometimes it will not even ring. I confirmed that the volume is turned on and I have not changed any settings at all. My software is up to date. In my job I need to know when I get an email without having to constantly activate the screen or open the email icon.

What happens when you put in an email address in an event? (Make sure the email address is also in your addressbook (Macintosh HD > Applications > Addressbook)
Are you using calendars that show up under "On My Mac" on the left hand side of iCal or are the calendars under a different heading?
Troubleshooting:
Make sure that you can send / receive email in the Apple Mail program.
Make sure that the email address in Mail > Preferences > Accounts is also on your Addressbook card:Go to Addressbook > Card > Go to My Card -- The email address you are using to send receive messages on your computer should be on this card.
If that doesn't take care of it:
1. First make an iCal backup: Click on each calendar on the left hand side of iCal one at a time highlighting it's name and then going to File Export > Export and saving the resulting calendar file to a logical location for safekeeping.
2. Go to iCal > Quit iCal
3. Remove the following to the trash and restart your computer:
Home > Library > Caches > com.apple.ical
Home > Library > Calendars > Calendar Cache, Cache, Cache 1, 2, 3, etc. (Do not remove Sync Cache or Theme Cache if present)
4. Launch iCal and test.
If the issue persists:
1. Go to iCal > Quit iCal
2. Remove the following to the trash and restart your computer:
Home > Library > Caches > com.apple.ical
Home > Library > Calendars > Calendar Cache, Cache, Cache 1, 2, 3, etc. (Do not remove Sync Cache or Theme Cache if present)
Home > Library > Preferences > com.apple.ical (There may be more than one of these. Remove them all.)
--- NOTE: Removing these files may remove any shared (CalDAV) calendars you may have access to. You will have to re-add those calendars to iCal > Preferences > Accounts.
3. Launch iCal and test.

I just updated to 5.7 and the exported files are blurry. I compared the ones I exported before the change and they are fine. I have not change any settings.
I don't understand your last paragraph.
"The home page also has a full bar ..." What does "full bar" mean? " ... instead of the tray it had before." What does "tray" mean?
Anyway, you might try Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout

While playing music on my iphone 5, i am now unable to play, pause, or skip songs while my phone is locked. I can still change the volume and scrub through songs. This has always worked for me until now. As far as i know, i have not changed any settings. This is whle my phone is locked both on the slide up toolbar/menu interface and on the normal screen before i slide to unlock.
I skimmed through this very long post but from what I read, this sounds much more like a coverage issue with your network than a device issue. I have not seen or heard of this issue before and I do not have this issue personnally and & I use the music app quite frequently while working in the yard.
The DND feature should not be a factor at all if you're sure it's turned off. I always recommend restarting your phone by holding down the home button + the lock button for 10-12 seconds until the Apple logo appears. Once the phone reboots, do a test to see if this has helped to resolve the issue.
If not, go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Then, test it out again. Post back if neither of these solutions solve your issue. -

I have talked to Comcast support and Comcast Security Assurance, and they tell me that the problem I am having with my Thunderbird email is a problem with Thunderbird and Mozilla since I can access my Xfinity account with no problems. On my Thunderbird email site, it says that it is connected to Comcast.net with my correct email, and that it is "downloading 1 of 19 emails", but they never come through. My husband and I use the same computer, but have separate email accounts. His is working fine. I checked all the port connections etc with Comcast, and they are all set up the same. We have not changed passwords or anything else on our email sites, and have been using this email program for 11 months, since we bought this new computer. It is a Dell OptiPlex 960 with Windows 7, and we have had no problems with email up to this point. I am thoroughly frustrated at this point and don't know what else to do. I understand there is no phone number to connect with Thunderbird......I am a 67 year old "non techie" female, so I would appreciate suggestions for me to follow be simple an explanatory! Thanks.

Suddenly today, the url window will not work. I checked Internet Explorer and it works fine on that. I type in www.ups.com and hit enter....nothing....what do I do to make this work again?
This issue can be caused by an extension that isn't working properly.

Scans come out small on epson DX7400 - fine until a few weeks ago, have not changed any settings
Until a few weeks ago, scanning with Epson DX7400 was fine, scans came out original size. Now they flash original size on the screen then immediately become small. Double clicking opens to correct size, but not if attached to an email.
Zooming makes them totally illegible.
Also having problems now with printing envelopes.
Any thoughts please? Driving me mad. Dowloaded what seems to be latest drivers today, but no difference.I didn't know about Image Capture, so thanks for this.
I tried it and it works fine - except the result is exactly the same.
Another problem with printing envelopes on my iSensys appeared at the same time as the Epson problem.
Whatever Apple has done, I'm much vexed!

As of 5:30 pm yesterday my emails stopped coming in. When I open the account it shows I have 23 messages but nothing loads. I can still send messages and my internet connection is strong. How can I fix this?

I can still receive icloud ( ME email address) emails fine. I have not changed my settings at all. I have however tried all the settings I can find on the support pages. PLEASE HELP. You'll either have to set up International Data Roaming with your cell provider, assuming they have parner networks in Mexico, or find a cell provider in Mexico that offers suitable service and get an appropriate SIM from them.

Strange Icon behavior: PDF files now show an iPod Icon
A week or so ago, the icon for PDF files on my G5 (10.5.5) switched to become the icon for an iPod. All PDF files now look like iPods. If only I had so many iPods! Waaaaaay back, one would "rebuild the desktop" and it would correct many icon problems
