Why won't the airplay button come up now I have upgraded to ios7

I can not get my iPhone or my wife's phone or our iPad to connect to Apple TV by airplay anymore, I upgraded everything yesterday to ios7 and airplay was working, I have come to it today and nothing will connect, the button has disappeared off everything !!
Any ideas anyone please ?

It'll be on the new Home Screen control panel. Swipe that into view (up on my 4S and iPad2) and it's there. Waste of time solving this and an epic fail. I pay extra for Apple to avoid this type of wasted Android type activity. I don't pay extra to spend hours on forums solving basic user functions......grrrrrr!?!
And good luck. Next purchase likely to be a samsung.

I want to send my music and photos to my Apple TV

It's not automatic. You have to set up iTunes Sharing in iTunes Preferences>Sharing>Share my library.
Then in your AppleTV go to Settings>Computers>Turn on HOme Sharing.

Looks like you've added a subform (Subform1) to the form which is breaking your script. You need to add it to your script. ie: Subform1.name.rawValue rather than just name.rawValue. another option is to unwarp that subform.

  • Why won't the home button work

I just dropped my iphone for the first time. It didn't have an otter box, just a thin plastic cover. It landed on it's screen but shows no screen damage whatsoever. Now I can't use the home button. I can listen to my music and play games just fine, but when it comes to getting back to the home screen with the home button it doesn't work. It makes the usual clicking sound, but nothing else. I got it to the home screen a couple of times by pushing the button with alot of force but I'm affraid that will damage it more. What should I do? Is it fixable? Do I have to take it to be repaired or can I fix it at home?

Sounds like you broke your phone.  Bringt it and $149 to the Apple store for an out of warranty replacement.

     Hi,
    Try the following.
First, download the Flash uninstall utility on the link below and save it to your Desktop.
    Flash Player Uninstaller.
When the download has completed, close all browser windows and run the uninstaller.  After this has completed, restart the notebook.
Next, download and install Firefox and then using Firefox, download and install the latest version of Adobe Flash.  Note: You may want to deselect the option to include McAfee Security Scan Plus before downloading.
Close all browser windows before running the Flash installer.
Launch Firefox and see if videos etc play Ok in this browser - if they do, close Firefox, open Internet Explorer and click on the same Adobe Flash link above to get a prompt to install the ActiveX component.  When done, restart Internet Explorer.

  • HT201335 What do I do if I can't see the airplay button at all, yet I have the airplay installed on the same network?

I can't get my MacBook. Pro or my new iPad to connect to my new appleTV. I can't find the air play button.

A frequent cause of consistent failure to enable AirPlay or HomeSharing at all, is the service being blocked on the network. Make sure your network isn't hidden, has a unique name, that MAC address authentication is disabled, security is set to use WPA 2 Personal and that there is only one router/device acting as a DHCP server and providing NAT services.
Make sure your router/computer allows access over the following ports
    Port
    Type
    Protocol
    Used By
    80
    TCP
    HTTP
    AirPlay

Refer to your router manual/manufacturer for any settings that are specific to that model.
Another frequent cause of consistent failure to enable AirPlay or HomeSharing at all, is security software, in many cases configuring it correctly, disabling it or even uninstalling it can help, but in some cases the security software can cause problems that simply reconfiguring, disabling or uninstalling cannot reverse.
If you are consistently unable to activate AirPlay, have tried all the steps in this article and have security software installed on your system, you might benefit from contacting its provider or participating in any online forums they run to discuss the matter with them.

I have a iPhone 4 ios 6.1.3 and for some reason I never get the airplay button. I do not have an apple tv, however I do have the reflector app, which is what i am trying to connect to. I have even once seen the airplay button on my phone. I am connected to the same wifi and via bluetooth to the computer. The airplay button is not visible from any app.

You do not have to have an Apple TV, but you should have an AirPlay capable speaker on your network.

  • I see the airplay button in my recently used app bar but when I try to turn on mirroring from the apple tv button instead of ipad theres no extra bar that comes down.( mirroring wont work)

    Winston, thank you...
A new Apple TV: and everything as 'amazing' as expected...
But do you think I could intuitively find a way to Mirror my iPhone 4s screen to my TV.
    No...
AirPlay of Music and Photos was instinctive,
but mirroring: simple when you know.
Should have looked in the iPhone User Guide, under AirPlay.
"as you say, double click the home button, swipe twice to the left to reveal the AirPlay
    button, Select Apple TV"
    Thanks, Robert.

i recently have been problem with my AppleTV. I select the AirPlay button on my ipad3 and select AppleTV below my iPad selection. The tablet thinks for a little bit, about 5 seconds, and then gives up, deselecting the AppleTV button and refreshing automatically to display on my tablet. My spouse has the same issue at the same time with her ipad air. All software is up to date and re verified wifi. The AppleTV can still stream from its internal apps. Seems like the only problem is AirPlay.
any ideas to fix this problem?

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
Try the following steps, check whether things are working after each step where appropriate, before trying the next.
Check AirPlay is turned on on the Apple TV (turn it off and on if it already is)
Check that both devices are on the same network (Settings > Wifi, on the mobile device and Settings > General > Network, on the Apple TV).
Restart the Apple TV (Settings > General > Restart).
Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
Restart your router. (Also try removing it’s power cord for at least 30 seconds)
    Restart your mobile device.

  • WHY WON'T THE EPRINT WEBSITE ACCEPT MY EMAIL OR PASSWORD? I HAVE RESET IT BUT STILL WILL NOT LET ME

    Subject
Why won't eprint website let me enter.  I have reset my password to no avail.  Do I have to return this printer to the store?

The Web Services server was experiencing difficulties at the time.  If you're still having problems creating an ePrintCenter account and you already have a Snapfish account, try the following steps:
-On the ePrintCenter login page, there is the blue Snapfish icon. This brings up a Snapfish login form.
-If you do not remember your Snapfish password, go to Snapfish.com and use the snapfish “forgot your password?” tool.
-Once you login in to ePrintCenter using your Snapfish login, you will now have an “HP Web Services” type account, you can use the normal login form without hitting the Snapfish button

  • HT1688 Why won't the volume on my iPhone 5 go down when I press the bottom volume up only works?

Why won't the volume on my iPhone 5 go down

    Hey cacobo,
I found an article that can help with troubleshooting an iPhone's receiver or speakers.
iPhone: Can't hear through the receiver or speakers
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1630
Verify that there is nothing plugged in to the headset jack, including headsets, headphones, or adapters.
Make sure the Ring/Silent switch is not switched to silent.
While on the Home screen, adjust the volume buttons. If you see the icon below, indicating that headphones are attached, there may be debris or an object lodged in the headset jack:
Check the headset jack. If there is an object lodged in the headset jack that is not easily removed, have the iPhone serviced to remove object.
For Original iPhone: If there is light debris, such as lint, in the headset jack, try connecting a pair of headphones to the headset jack and then remove the headphones. Repeat this several times to remove the debris.
If you have installed a protective film on the display, either ensure that the receiver is not covered or remove the film completely.
Check the receiver mesh (which is on the top front of the device, above the display). If it appears blocked, use a clean, small, dry, soft-bristled brush to carefully and gently brush away any debris.
If you have paired with a Bluetooth headset that is nearby, either use the headset or turn Bluetooth off (chooseSettings > General > Bluetooth).
    Restart the iPhone.
If restarting the iPhone doesn't resolve the issue, try restoring the device.
If the issue persists, go to the Service Answer Center - iPhone for information on service.
    Hope that helps,
    David
