Why won't the Mail PDF print option work anymore?

I have been trying to mail PDF files, but when I select that option from the PDF drop-down menu in the print dialog box, nothing happens. Can anyone help?

No, no Adobe Reader here.
I did find an interesting workaround:
Make an alias to the Mail application
Put the alias in ~/Library/PDF Services
Give it a catchy name
It then shows up in the print dialog's PDF menu (along with the "Mail PDF" workflow) and performs essentially the same function, but without the annoying fail. A side effect (a bonus to me, for arcane reasons) is that the mail message defaults to plain text -- the standard workflow creates a rich text document.

This FAQ should describe the issue - you need to be using Adobe Reader (free) or Adobe Acrobat to fill out the PDF, Preview on the Mac breaks the PDF so it is no longer usable: http://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-2653

Why won't the Mail app message list font change?

I am on Lion at home and at work. Using the new 3 pane layout in the Mail app. On both machines, when I go to preferences>fonts & colors> I can change all the fonts BUT the message list. No matter what I do it doesn't change. Is this a bug or just a factor of the new layout?

Yep, mailbox behaviour is sent to "store sent messages on the server". This is happening, though, other primary IMAP accounts. And yes, it's been since Mountain Lion. Sometimes the messages show under the account, other times they don't. There is no sense to the randomness of it. Is there a way to "reset" all of my mail accounts without losing all of my stored mail?

Why won't the music player quick link work on ios7

I have installed ios7 and now the quick link music player will not work! Any ideas as I cannot play music in the car without going into the full music player! Also my in car controls have stopped working the player? Very annoying worked fine on ios6

Unfortunately, I think that is probably your only option. the "!" is stating that the link between the music and the visual title on your iPod is broken and the iPod doesn't know where it is. Did you have auto-updating on for your music when you plugged it into your friends computer? And how did you remove it from the computer? If the iPod was still updating when you removed it, that could have caused it.

Why won't the Creative Cloud Desktop App Work??

I have been trying for 2 weeks to get Creative Cloud to update to the CC versions from CS6 versions. I've tried all the different methods I've found on the Forums. Deleted the OOBE directory, tried to download directly from the Download page. Nothing works! the CCDesktop app is just a blank page - i've deleted and reinstalled the app at least 15 times - still a blank window for the CC Desktop app. Does anyone have a workable solution? I am running a 2011 iMac 27' 3.1 GHZ i5 core with OS 10.9.1

I'm having the same really frustrating issue. Did the link below help you at all? It did nothing for me. This problem with the creative cloud desktop being blank happened as soon as I installed the latest update for it. Ever since then, it's been blank, and thus, worthless to me.

Why won't my Nike+iPod app work on my iPod touch anymore? I just get a red screen then it closes. Anyone have an idea why this happens. It work fine not to long ago but I went to use it today and it's not working.

Why won't the mail app load my emails?

I have been problems with my mail app for a while now. It will not download any new emails from my AOL account. I have tried deleting the account from the app and resetting it up. Still no luck. Can any one help?

I told it to "Sync wiht AOL" and checked a little while later and it looks like it worked. My MacBook is now caught up on emails.

You have Settings > General > iPad Cover Lock / Unlock set 'on' ? If you have and the cover is aligned then you could try a soft-reset and see if it works after the iPad has restarted : Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Why won't the "Purchased" link in iTunes work?

I am trying to redownload a Tom Petty album because it seems to have disappeared from my computer. I tried to go to the "Purchased" link but when I click it, I just get a blank white screen. I know the album still exists because if I find it on iTunes, it says I have purchased it. I have tried the "Purchased" link on the Home page, the Music page, at the bottom of every screen off the gray bar, and still the screen is just blank. Does anyone know why this is happening or another way I could redownload this album? I have updated all software.

Click the iTunes Store button in the upper right. Then click the "Account" link in the center right and make sure you are signed in to your account.

Why won't the Camera and Photos apps work? I can't access my photos or take new ones.

I can no longer take new photos, or access my camera roll or photo stream from within the camera or photos apps.
Several days ago I took an HDR photo and the phone became unresponsive on the "saving" dialog with the progress loop rolling. After 15 minutes, and multiple attempts at getting it un-hung, I forced a restart of the phone. Since then, whenever I take a picture, the app disappears and drops me on the home screen right after the "iris" graphic clicks on the screen. The same app crash happens when I simply try to look at previously saved pictures in either the camera or photos apps. Since then I have synched the phone, and performed a factory reset, and neither has fixed the problem. Has anyone else experienced this? How do I get use of my camera back?

I'm having the same problem, but am traveling for business right now so all I can do is restart the phone. I don't live near an Apple store either, so I don't know how I'll get it fixed. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Why won't the 10.3 Flash Player work on my Mac 10.5.8?

I actually posted this as part of a discussion under the thread "Flash 10.3 unable to be recognized", but nobody seemed to pay any attention to it there, so I am reposting my question as a new thread, but that is the problem I am having. When I download the player it says at the end it is installed, but yet I can't play games on FB I used to play, no You Tube, and no live chat room access, problems I never encountered until messing with this "current" Flash available. Okay, so I need help with this same problem that Tombland began to describe best, same system, and I followed some of the suggestions you asked him to do Chris Cambell, and he got it worked out, and I didn't so I ran out of things to try, so here's where I am at with the apparent inability to recognize the 10.3. I have a Mac 10.5.8, run Safari on it. I would never have even updated the player if I knew it was going to be this big of a hassle, but I was trying to get a football game from ESPN3 to play(which never even ended up working!), so now that I did that, I get no You Tube videos, and a chat room I frequent often is unavailable to me as well.
Sooo....I went to that page where I looked for "Shockwave Flash" section, and I did NOT have one. So then I followed the instructions to go to the folder/Library/Internet Plug-ins and I DO have "flashplayer.plugin" being displayed in there. So now I have no idea what that means and what I am supposed to try next. I have tried uninstalling it, I have reinstalled it, I have tried to get archived Flash Players to go back to whatever I had that used to work(!), and I am not very good with computers especially a Mac, this is my first Mac I have had it for 1-2 years so I am still familiarizing myself with it, I have always had PC's. So please be VERY specific when you reply to guide me through the next part of the process to get this system working right. Please!? It sounds like you had Flash 10.1 or earlier previously installed. The older versions of Flash Player had "universal" support, which basically meant that it could run with either Intel or PowerPC based macs. The new version of Flash Player, 10.3, only works with Intel macs. That checkbox was telling Safari to run in the old, PowerPC mode, which isn't compatible with the updated Flash Player. In addition to getting Flash Player to work, you should see a performance increase in Safari as it's running in a native mode now

Why won't the Flickr uploader PSE 8 work right on Vista or Windows 7?

I used to upload photos using PSE 6 to Flickr on Windows XP machine all the time w/o problems. Recently after buying a new computer, PSE 8, and Vista 64 bit I get a message that says there is a problem. I more recently upgraded to Windows 7, 64 bit, same issue.
As far as I can tell there is no Firewall issue as everything else works fine and sometimes on picture will upload, but not more than one. Does anyone know of a setting I need to look at?

Hi,
Can you please try lowering the Security Settings in Internet Explorer? Go to Tools -> Internet Explorer -> Security Tab. Lower the settings and click Apply and then OK. Relaunch Organizer and try the workflow again.
Also, please recheck that the Windows Firewall is turned off.

Why won't the sound on my iPhone work? No music, no text tones or ring tone.

This morning my phones sound did not work when I plugged it into my car to play music. I unplugged it and realized none of the sound was working. No ringtone, no voicemail, no phonecalls, nothing. After playing with it and restarting it a couple times, it would turn on after static noises but then turn back off after a few seconds. At night I charge it on my iPod speakers, could that have caused the problem?

This will fix it:
1. Open iCal and backup your entries. Make a note of the fie name and location, you're going to need them in a minute. Once your backup/export is completed, close the iCal application.
2. Open Finder and remove everything inside the "Username/Library/Calendars" folder. For instance, if your username is "Joe", then move everything inside the "Joe/Library/Calendars" folder.
3. Open the iSync application. It's located in the "/Applications/" folder. Once iSync is opened, go into the iSync Preferences (iSync -> Preferences) and push/click the "Reset Sync History" button. Then, close the iSync application.
4. select the file your created earlier. Dbl click on it.
5. Open the iTunes application and connect your Apple iPhone to the computer.
6. Within the Advanced section of the Info tab for the Apple iPhone, check the box the overwrites/replaces the Calendar data on the Apple iPhone.
7. Click the Apple/Sync button. New, modified and deleted entries should now be syncing correctly.
