Why won't the timeline window scroll?

In every version of Flash I have used (always on a Mac),
including Flash 8, I can't use the scroll wheel or track pad to
scroll up and down (or side to side, now that I have a MacBook pro
;-) in the time line window. Instead I have to stop what I'm doing
and drag the scroll bar with the mouse, or use the scroll arrows.
Over time when I am working on a complex project with lots of
layers this becomes a real hassle. I need to be able to just get
the cursor anywhere over the timeline and scroll...is that too much
to ask?? :mad;

D'oh!
If that is truly the only solution I will have to
live with it for now. It seems like a pretty basic bug to have
gotten this far through so many versions, though...anybody else out
there have the same problem?

I have Lightroom 5.3 and I can't get the watermark menu in the export dialogue box to scroll up or down. It's effectively stuck and I can't apply my 2014 watermark. I've tried deleting some existing watermarks in the main lightroom folder but it has no effect on the problem.

Thanks for your reply Jim. Yes, that's correct, the "drop-down list of saved watermarks" that you refer to as a "pop-up menu". I can't GET to the bottom of the drop-down list to select "Edit Watermarks", or to select any watermark below the one you see in the screenshot. It will not go beyond what you see there, namely "2013 White Right 12 no c", even though I created a 2014 watermark that would be below this.
You'll notice in the screen shot that there is an arrow at the top left of the list, which made me think it was scrollable. The requested screenshot is at the following link:

As said in the title Why won't the Avatar Interactive Desktop work on Windows xp SP3. I have tried everything (uninstalling AIR, reinsalling it etc) I can think of but nothing makes it work. This image shows what I get in return every time I try to install the app. My PC meets all requirements to run Adobe AIR. Why is this occuring? I have the current version of AIR.

What error message are you getting when you try to lauthorize the computer for that account?

Have you successfully synced from this iTunes library/computer before?
If so have you done anything like update iTunes on the computer since it last successfully synced?
Do the songs play in iTunes?
Are any fo the unsyning songs DRM protected?
What is the detail format of the non-syncing songs?
Does any media now sync to the iPod?
Do you have the right boxes checked to sync?

I have it set up, in "Tools", "Options", etc., for my windows and tabs to reopen & be restored to the webpages that they were previously at before I, for one reason or another, restarted my computer! But, after I restart my computer and the Firefox browser, it always goes to my homepage; the windows & tabs NEVER restart as they should!
It wasn't always like this. It has only been within the last few weeks that this has become a constant and consistent problem. I assume that a Firefox update somehow disabled something & that's why it isn't working properly but, whatever...
How do I fix this so that my windows & tabs reopen as they should!?

Have you checked to make sure that under>> Options >> General >> That the startup behavior is appropriately? I had the same problem after upgrading and setting my homepage. It should be set to "show my windows and tabs from last time".

Doesn't any bring up the fact that Apple has so many customers with problems that the refuse to help unless you pay them cash? They update you and screw you over and then offer no useful troubleshooting scenarioius to help their millions of customers. It is because they want millions of our dollars. I hate Apple.

It won't let me download iOS 7. When I check for software updates it says that it is up to date. I also went to iTunes to delete the songs from the iPod, but now it isn't even recognizing any devices. I even uninstalled iTunes and reinstalled it to my computer. LOL I am sure it is something small, but I don't have the patience for it now. Maybe I should step away from the computer and come back in a little bit... Thank you for the advice though! more info would help. If you're using actionscript and
loading images from a folder maybe your path to that location is
wrong. It's possible that your images aren't in the right layer or
level but noticed that when initially published.
