it is not offered as a choice on the download assistant, and it is not part of the suites

Switched from Chrome to Firefox, and now it seems to be downloading.

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

Once you download the trial version of Acrobat, Adobe Download Assistant automatically starts the product installation on your machine.

I keep getting an error message when the trial version of PS downloads to 42%

This only the trial version I am talking about but I do so deserpatly need it.
I have cleared all the cookes and at one point I thought it was going to work because it got to extracting but then it stopped again. And now once again I can not get it to download past 42%.can anyone help me as I need PS cs6 for a webdesign course I am taking.

Do I have to pay $299 for a DUNS number? Why won't the $49 version work?

I'm trying to register as a company to build a for-profit application and launch it in the iStore. It says I have to apply for a DUNS number which is fine, I understand about building business credit and establishing ourselves as a reputable entity. I called D and B and they said I HAD to sign up for the $299 plan to get the number and that the $49 version on their website was not good enough to get into the iStore.
Any ideas if this is true and why? (I've only heard it from the sales rep at D and B so I'm slightly skeptical) Any help/insight would be greatly appreciated.

Well, I was offered a free DUNS number but the process to getting it would take 30 days and I'm in a hurry, so I decided to go with the expedited service (around $120 USD) which takes 24 hours only. What I'm starting to question is whether a simple DUNS numer is enough for all countries or not, we know it is enough for US companies since they can update their company profiles themselves via D&B iUpdate service, but for us foreign companies there's no such thing and apparently a "D&B Full Profile Analysis" (around $200USD) is the way to go. I spoke this morning to the person in charge of processing DUNS number requests and she encouraged me to insist with Apple that my DUNS number is valid and that my profile is complete, and to also ask them to verify the information with their D&B executive(s), she said there are a lot of other companies here in Mexico having the same problem since January and that most have been able to fix it by asking Apple to double check the information with their D&B executive(s), she also mentioned that updating Apple's D&B plattform completely actually takes 2 months and not 14 days, that's why sometimes not all the data is there when we try to sign up and that's also why Apple needs to ask a D&B executive to double check the info in other databases/platforms/whatever they use to keep our data temporarily, anyway right now I'm waiting for an Apple senior advisor who is looking into the issue since last week, I'll keep this thread updated.

Why won't the latest version of Adobe Flash Install?

I keep trying to access things that need the latest version of Flash, and each time I'm directed to their site, I download flash with no problems, even install it with no problems, but as soon as I'm done "installing" and I try to view the things that needed the new version of flash, they still say I need to install the latest version of flash. I have kept installing flash over and over with no luck. It's like it's not installing at all. Any way to get around this? Has anyone else had this problem or something similar?

Are these install attempts from an administrative user account?
While at the Adobe Flash Player download page, are you selecting the PowerPC version from the pull-down menu (regardless that the Intel version is labeled universal binary)?
After the install completes, does /Library/Internet Plug-Ins/Flash Player.plugin show the expected version number (9.0.124.0 as of this morning)?

I've successfully uploaded it several times now, yet any time Adobe Flashplayer is needed to view something (such as an ECard or facebook game) it tells me I need to upload it. Anyone else have this problem???

Be sure you are downloading the Flash installer straight from Adobe's site. DO NOT EVER download from any other site! There is currently a trojan going around that fools you into downloading a fake Flash installer. See:

You can download mp3s using Firefox beta which can be found in the Play Store. While Firefox is playing an mp3 you can long press on it and choose save to save the file.
This feature will make it to the release version of Firefox around May 15th.

Why won't the upgrade version recognise my current version and install?

I am using Mac OS 10.6.8 and have had trouble opening pdf documents from other websites with Adobe Reader. They suggested I upgrade my Adobe Reader, which I have tried to do; have gone to 9.4.6, but when I try to update further to either 1011 or 1001 it will not open or recognise my current version and just closes, saying the installation failed and to contact the software manufacturer. So this is what I have been trying to do, and need help!
Can somebody tell me: 1. what is the upgrade after 9.4.6?
2. are the version 10...s for the new Apple Lion OS?

I remember having signed to the mac app store with my mobileme account, and as my computer is new, I was asked to make GarageBand-iMovie-Iphoto solely available to any future updates for this computer and this apple ID ( As a matter of fact the iLife suite was bundled with the computer).
Well, I have no other ID to give to apple besides this mobile me id, I wonder what is missing.

Why won't my trial version of PSE 11 install?

After numerous tries, I FINALLY got the software to download. Now it will not install. The error message is, "Could not install Shared Technologies" and the program aborts the installation process. I am running Windows 7.

Have you downloaded Firefox 8.0.1 from http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/?
Did you run the installer? Any errors?
Your userAgent string shows you are running Firefox 5.
Your UserAgent string may just be wrong. Try the following:
Type about:config in the URL bar and hit Enter
If you see the warning, you can confirm that you want to access that page.
Filter = general.useragent.
Right-click the preferences that are bold, one line at a time, and select Reset.
Then restart Firefox

Why won't the songs I purchased and Downloaded to my iPhone play?

I purchased an albumen from iTunes, downloaded to iPhone, played great. Few weeks later I purchased some more, downloaded to iPhone. only some of the songs on albums play and the 1st albumen does not play at all. I downloaded them all again with same results. I am a novice.

If you are playing the Movie in the Videos app and it is not play.
Go to the Home screen and double click the Home button. That will reveal the row of recently used apps at the bottom of the screen. Tap and hold on the app in question until it wiggles and displays a minus sign. Tap the minus sign to actually quit the app. Then tap anywhere on the screen above that bottom row to return the screen to normal. Then restart the app and see if it works normally.
Then reboot your iPad. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the iPad restart.
