Why won't Thunderbird open for me?

I was able to open Thunderbird last night. This morning, I was unable to open it, even after I typed in my password. After entering my password, I got the message "sending of password did not succeed. Mail server pop.mindspring.com responded: bad password or unknown username.
What can I do to rectify this situation? I am dependent on access to E-Mail for my job. Is there some person I can speak to about this on the telephone, which may help me resolve this issue sooner?

Best is to contact your email provider. It may be a temporary problem at their end.

I mentioned the high security sites simply in terms of the general context of my problem. Thunderbird still won't open and I would very much appreciate someone's experience to understand why and what I need to do to get it to start again. All my emails are filed in Thunderbird and if it won't open, I can't work. Thanks for your help.

Maybe you could supply us with more details about what exactly you are doing, how you are doing and what you are using to do it.
The reason I say this is because you are in the forum for Adobe Reader which is a FREE application and not a service.

Why won't files open in Camera Raw from Bridge?

I am trying to open files in Camera raw from Bridge but get the following message.
"Bridge's parent application is not active."
Both Bridge and CS5 are open and I have opened camera raw previously.
Any suggestions.

Ah this is just because I haven't fully updated my bridge yet, but the solution still works fine

The video shows replacing a current DLL file with one from last year - the key issue being that the files found in the Bridge and Photoshop folders are DIFFERENT. Why would this be? I checked a PS CS5.1 installation myself and the files are already the same. Is there an illegitimate copy of Photoshop being used or something, causing these files to differ? -Noel

Why won't files open or save in email

I have been trying to open some important files that were emailed and they won't open. I am getting the blue and white pop up asking if I want to open or save and it won't let me do either. It did this the other day and somehow I finally got it open after shutting down the computer. Tried that this time and it won't work. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling adobe. It did not work. There is also an online website I use to complete and upload PDF file documents and it won't work either. What has happened? How do I fix?

Why won't files open in the space that the application is assigned to?

I have applications assigned to specific spaces, however, if I am in space 2 and I click to open an Adobe Illustrator (assiged to space 3) file, spaces will send me to space 3 but the file window will open in space 2 (where I was). I have to use F8 to view the spaces and drag it over to the assigend sapce. If i try to work on it in spaces 2 (where it opened) my pallets are blank. Any ideas?

You can see more than any of us here. If there is no other indication beyond what you have described, then it could be anything. We don't even know if you have somehow deleted the application.

Hi. As a workaround you can enable "Always use native photo browsers" in the PS Touch settings. It's listed under "Preferences" -> "Access Local Photos setting". See attached screenshot

If Safari is not opening any window when you click the icon, I would use these troubleshooting steps from the following article:
If Safari can’t open a window - Safari Help
If you can’t open Safari or a new Safari window, try these suggestions.
Use the latest version of Safari and OS X. To check for a Safari update, choose Apple menu > App Store, then click Updates. For more information, see Keep your Mac up to date.
Check your startup disk using Disk Utility.
If the other suggestions don’t help, try reinstalling OS X.

Yes, I'm slow, but it has taken me several months to figure out how to create clothing with lace digitally. I had the big ah hah. I was up all night. It is 6.00am. The creative juices were flowing and then guess what?
Adobe Bridge will not open back up. Why? Because I paid for the Photoshop CC subscription they have been hounding me to join. Apparently I haven't downloaded something or something. Although everything was working just fine on my system.Everything was working fine on the photoshop cc trial. UNTIL NOW. I don't want to stop what I am doing to read some manual.
