Why won't Translucent stay translucent

I have a bunch of photos on a translucent background. When ever I save it the background turns white, even before leaving PSE7.
I've made them one layer, left them 35 layers, saved, save as, save for web, unchecked optimized, I tried it all.
I am saving it as a JPG.
Any ideas?

Thanks. I tried it as a gif, and it worked. I wonder why I never knew this. I guess it never came up.

I found out it was my keyboard's software. If you have a different keyboard it may still be the cause.
This worked for me nicely. I can close itunes whenever I want now.

Tell us more, please - so it is hard to say.
What is your Aperture version? And where is your Aperture library located?
Are you syncing your library in any way? With Facebook, Flickr, Photo Streams?
Where did you delete the photos from? from an album, web album, project? Did you empty the Aperture trash and the trash on your desktop?

Apple does have what is needed to use multiple 30 inch displays and the 5770 is pretty mainstream and standard.
It is also about the only card being sold outside ebay and a couple places in case you want to take your chances with Nvidia 8800GT 1st gen model or ATI 4870.

Why won't mail stay synced with iCloud?

Every time I go into the settings for icloud and my email accounts the box for mail syncing is unchecked. So i check it again and as soon as i go out of that page and back in it is unchecked again. Why on earth is this happening? and how do i fix it?

Same here, can someone enlighten me why mail does not want to stay checked in the iCloud prefs? As soon as I check the box Mail & Notes, it says starting, I close the window, reopen it and it is deselect again. Drives me nuts!
I have one Apple ID, one account for as long as we had .mac addresses. Nothing weird or special. I must be missing something.
My iPad1 and iPhone4 and MacbookAir it functions as it should except on my iMac.
Running on both computers Mac OS X Lion 10.7.3 (11D50b) and the latest on IOS on the devices.
Another thing that has me baffled is the double addressing when I start a new mail.
It says from: [email protected] and next to it [email protected](icloud). Why?
I still do not see any features in this iCloud business at all. Syncing my iPhone and iPad over wifi via iCloud is horrible slow and takes hours. Syncing and backing up to computer is blazing fast because of the FIOS. I'm still willing to give it a try but these issues have me baffled. If someone has the answer please let me know! ;-)

Why won't iCloud stay on in Keynote for iPad?

In settings, the toggle to turn iCloud on in Keynote for iOS won't stay on. Works fine on iPhone, but they are not syncing with each other. Everytime I turn it on with the iPad, switch to Keynote, then come back to settings, the toggle turns itself off. Yes, I have documents and data turned on in the iCloud settings on both the iPhone and iPad.

Have you tried uninstalling keynote, restarting and reinstalling.

Why won't discs stay in the drive?

most of the time i put dvds or cds in the optical drive, it stays in for a couple of second and then automatically pops out. Is there a problem with the computer itself? and is there anything i can do to fix it? or does it need to be replaced?

Why won't Firefox stay installed?

When I log into Firefox, it keeps telling me I'm not on the most current version. I download it, install it, and when I come back to it after an IE session, it's gone.
Also, it is not staying "stuck" even though I've tried to make it my default browser.

What version of firefox are you using is it the current version, Firefox 6? to check click on :
* Help -> About Firefox
You will need to disable or uninstall that software to solve the problem. You may be able to do that from the Firefox add-ons manager, but you may need to go into [[safe mode]] or you may need to identify and uninstall the software from the OS (Windows XP -> Start -> Control Panel -> uninstall software)

Why Won't Wallpaper Stay?

Hello, for some odd reason I will save a nice looking picture as my wallpaper on my macbook pro, but when i restart my mac the default snow leopard wallpaper is being used as the wallpaper instead of the one I had deemed before... Has anyone ran into this problem? Why is this and how do I fix it?

I fixed it... I thought that maybe the memory wasn't in the slots all of the way so I removed them, used a light hit of air to dust the cards and the slots and it is working like a charm now...

Why won't page stay active?

Whenever I have to restart Firefox, the top bar (with the red, yellow, green circles) keeps going all gray and I have to click on the page to activate it again. Takes a LONG time before I do something that makes it stay highlighted....but I don't know what it is I am doing that makes it stay on. I am only browsing the internet.

Why won't bookmarks stay alpha sorted?

I have installed and am using the new(est)/current Firefox. I cannot get my bookmards to stay in the order (alpha/name) I choose. They always revert. I have checked the FAQs and nothing on there applies (no add-on, extension, or sync to cause it).

Where are you doing that Alpha sort?

Since the recent OS update (Nov. 2013) when I open Notes it only stays open for a second then shuts down. I cannot figure out where to go to fix it. Please help! All my meeting notes & to do lists are there.

Try some basic troubleshooting:
(A) Try reset iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
(B) Try reset all settings
Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings
(C) Setup as new (data will be lost if you do not have backup)
Settings>General>Reset>Erase all content and settings

Why won't finder stay in the Dock ?

Finder is always open on my desktop. I can "Hide" it, but it re-appears as soon as I do anything. It won't quit. I have gone to Activity Monitor, found it and Force Quit. It immediately appears again. Ideas ?

OK, that's pretty strange, I think we have a deeper problem.
Does CMD + w not work also?
Safe Boot , (holding Shift key down at bootup), use Disk Utility from there to Repair Permissions, test if things work OK in Safe Mode.
Then move these files to the Desktop...

Try closing that window in Safe Mode.
Reboot & test.

Why won't tabs stay open in 4

with the old version of mozilla. when i got off line it would ask if i wanted to save the tabs. version 4 does not, it is very bad move to get rid of this feature. are there any add-on that i can use to get this back?

Firefox now always stores the old session, and you can access it by going to the History menu and selecting "Restore Previous Session"
If you want Firefox to display the message to save the session, it can be turned back on by changing some preferences.
