Why won't video show on blog page?

I have created a web site that is just a blog. When I just have a picture on an entry page, it shows up on the main blog page too. When I have a video on an entry page, only text shows up on the main blog page, no video. How do I get the video on a blog entry page to also show up on the main blog page?

The Blog main page has a section with the Blog Summary.
iWeb will generated the content of this Blog Summary based on your content in the entries.
The picture placeholder in a blog entry is for pictures, not for movies.
Here's what I do :
Start playing the movie until you see a frame that is good for representing the movie. If it's a QT movie : save the frame as picture with QT Pro, if it's a YouTube movie, use Grab (press simultaneously Apple, Shift, 4 and select the frame) or use an other app to make a picture from a selection on the screen.
Drag the picture in the placeholder.
Position the movie on the blog entry where you want it.
Now you have a picture of the movie in the Blog Summary.
If you do not want the picture to show in the blog entry, cover it with a rectangle that has the same filling as the page background or hide it under the movie.

The problem started for me about two weeks ago.
I tried to fix by a full power down and restart. That didn't help.

If you can’t see your scanner in the list, refer to the documentation that came with your scanner to see how to scan images.

AirDrop is not available on an iPad 2 or on an iPhone 4S.
To share content with AirDrop, both users need one of the following devices using iOS 7:
iPhone 5 or later
iPad (4th generation)
iPad mini
iPod touch (5th generation)

I assume Canon 70D came after Lr4 was no longer being fitted with new camera support (i.e. when Lr5 was released).
(feel free to double-check that assumption - if wrong, then forget the rest of this post..).
Remedies:
* upgrade to Lr5, or
* convert to DNG (using free Adobe Converter).

Thanks .Ralph. The problem is only on the iPad 2only. I have an iPad 1 as well and it never had the problem. The only videos that I have tried are you tube and the tutorials on apple.com. I have absolutely no problem on either of my laptops or desktop PC's. Only the iPad 2. I am a new Apple user, so not very familiar yet with the product, but this is an absolute deal breaker for me. With Apple's reputation I was not expecting any such problems and it is beyond my skill set to solve it. Very frustrating. Again, no problem with you tube videos. I don't watch movies, so am not a Netflix member and haven't tried that yet, only you tube videos and apple.com tutorial videos. I have to watch those on my laptop. Again, I found a fix to the you tube problem. It was a link to a site. www.youtube/html5. html5 video player trial that you click on and once done, the videos on the you tube app started working great. They were doing the same thing as the tutorial videos prior to that. No such luck with the other web videos, at least the ones that i have tried. Hope this is enough info and understandable. You might check out the html5 site. I didn't thoroughly understand why, but it worked. You may understand it better. I am a proficient user, but far from an I.t. Pro. I have read Many posts with similar problems, but no simple solutions and the ones I did try didn't work. Speed tested well. Channel is set to auto and always different than neighboring networks, usually channel 11. Tried disabling QOS as suggested....no good. I am completely stumped. Any help is greatly appreciated. Why does my video shows interlacing effects

I am importing HD videos from my Canon Legria HF200. On my user account the videos show interlacing effects, while on the other user account on the same iMac the videos are perfectly imported. We looked in preferences in order to find differences in settings but we could not find any.
I guess I modified a setting somewhere on my account which my partner did not on his.
I tried updating iMovie but it is already the most recent version (9.0.2).
I tried reinitializing the settings but could not find how to do it.
Can anybody help?

This is a known issue with all Canon Legria (PAL) camcorders. If you do a search with the term Legria, interlacing and iMovie you will find a number of threads.

Imbedding Videos in Iweb Blog Pages

I am trying to figure out if I can imbed videos on blog pages created using Iweb that I plan to publish through an external server (not .mac)
Does anyone know if I can imbed youtube videos using the current blog pages created throug iweb?

Why won't video play on Mozilla website

When I go to the page on the Mozilla website to learn about plug-ins and click on the 'Learn More' button the video shows the message "no video with supported format and MIME type found". This also happens on the 'Welcome to Firefox' page.

Why won't iMovie show me my video?

When I try to play or edit my project, the window on the left that's supposed to show my project is black. It does this with all my iMovie projects.

You found it in the right Library - Not the one on first window on Start-Up hard disk - but the one in Your User account. Hidden if You use Mac OS X.7
I've got plenty of room on my hard disk,
Only the Start-Up hard disk is of interest - my minimum is 25Gb free space
If You have any External Hard disk You use for VIDEO - It/they must be Mac OS Extended formatted - UNIX/DOS/FAT32/Mac OS Exchange works for most other things but not for VIDEO - they breaks the video file beyond repair.
and I'm not sure how you run repair preferences.
Run Disk Util tool and to the left select Your hard disk - now under the big white area to the right You read
Control Permissions and Repair Permissions - AND Control and Repair Hard Disk
To do the last ones Your Mac need to be started from DVD or other hard disk. Can not do Brain Surgery on one self.
I'm not to sure about the corrupted movie project thing.
Start a new iMovie project (Plus sign under Project Library) and put in one clip at a time and see if all works OK - If it starts to ill behave then last included clip might be the problematic one.

Why are my videos showing up in "Recently Added" but not in TV Shows or Movies?

I didn't have a problem adding videos to iTunes for several months, but now videos are not appearing in the right places. For some reason, they appear in the Recently Added playlist, but they are not showing up in the Movies section (which is where they had all gone before). The video plays fine if I play the file from Recently Added.
The files are mp4 format converted with Handbrake, which I have used for a long time without issue.
2011 iMac OSX 10.7.3 & iTunes 10.6.1 (7)
My research into the issue has found that some users experience metadata info missing from files. I ran some of the recommended programs that automatically add metadata to videos, but still had no luck adding. The issue is with every single mp4 file I add, and it just suddenly started.
If I click "Get Info" on a file, they are listed as being sorted as a Movie. If I change it to TV Show or Music Video then click OK, no changes are saved and file goes no where.
I get no Error Message when adding to iTunes.
I hope I have provided enough information. I'm eager to hear your answers!

Update:
Still having issues getting new videos to show in the "Movies" or "TV Shows" categories of iTunes. However, last night I discovered that Home Sharing on my iPad lists the newly imported videos in the Movies category (iPad & Video app). So, the files aren't corrupt or anything like that. It just seems like I need to 'refresh' the Movies page. Is that possible?
Since I can see the files on the iPad now, I want to remove the extra copies of movies I imported. But, since I can only find them in Playlists, how can I delete them?

Thanks - but not sure why this did not affect Internet Explorer as well. It has to be a Firefox issue; not a Flash issue. I will remove the 11.3 and look back to previous version or just - for the time being - just forget videos on Fox News or got to I E to see them. But noticed that this has happened with Fox and Firefox in the past as well. Thanks again.
