Why won't yahoo mail open?

I am currently using Toshiba's Satellite T115D Neo Processor, 64-bit OS Notebook running Windows 7.
I am unable to open my yahoo mailbox. After signing in using a password and a seal, I get my yahoo personal page after sign-in. From there I click on mail to get inside of my mailbox. The tab starts it "Loading" process and the progress bar appears at half complete then flickers and never goes further -- while the tab is still attempting to load and appears to be on an endless path. I have to open my yahoo mail from a different computer.
I copied the running data which is below. Please advise.

I think the "f" stands for "forever runs" cause it never stops until I close the tab.
I have already tried disabling my add-ons and plug-ins.

The mail version you want is 4.6 (1085). Have you applied the Snow Leopard combo update to your current OS?
Back up your files; you could do combo update again over the top of your existing OS, then software update to pick up the security updates.
Then try Mail again.

Apple has never supported the ability to open multi-page TIFF files on IOS. Check the App store for apps that support this functionality.

Why won't Apple Mail utilize addresses from Apple Contacts ?
Some of the people in my contacts have multiple e-mail addresses. Using contacts from within Apple Mail I can see these e-mail addresses. I then select the e-mail address I need to use and it is highlighted in blue. However, when I drag that e-mail address into the e-mail it uses the first e-mail address on the list and does NOT use the one that is highlighted.
This worked perfectly with good old Snow Leopard. Why doesn't it work now? What is the procedure for selecting an e-mail address that is not the first one in contacts ?

To see if there's a recovery volume installed reboot with the Option key held down and see what volumes are shown that you can book from. If there is a recovery volume it will be displayed. The arrow keys can be used to moved to the desired volume and the Enter or Return key to start the boot.
Yes I did that. I don't no why, but I have no recovery volume.
However, I do have mavericks on a USB flash drive. I booted from the flash drive and followed your procedure. This did not fix my Mail problem.
I notice now that after I drag an e-mail address into the header there is a small down arrow next to the incorrect e-mail address, this allows me to choose from a small group including the correct e-mail. I'm just wondering, perhaps this Is the way Apple Mail works in Mavericks.

Prevent devices from automatically syncing with this iTunes library when a device is connected. To sync a device, click the Sync button when the device is connected.

Yahoo and AllMyFaves display incorrectly. Yahoo Mail opens, but cannot see massages or do anything.?

Regular Yahoo website display is completely messed up.
AllMyFaves is my homepage. It displays in really small font, but no website logos or hyperlinks display.

I have two yahoo accounts and I know as they 'improved' their servers I had periodic outages. It'd work fine on my webmail on my computer, webmail on the iPad, but not via the mail app. And it was stuff on their end. It may be a case of wait and see and you may need to eventually remove/readd the account on your iPhone.
When the issue is on their end, unfortunately there's not much for users to do beyond wait it out or find work arounds.
