Why wont firefox 4 read all of my greasemonkey scripts?

firefox reads a couple of my scripts but not all of them... how can i fix it and if i cant fix it with 4, then how do i go back to the last version of firefox?

Ok, yesterday Firefox installed he new verison of the beta, and also updated the addons. But now it wont open at all. The process isnt even running at all! Hmmm...i went through all the add-ons. It's the "DownloadThemAll! Anti-container". I'm not sure why, but everything works. But in order to do that, you need to uninstall Firefox 4 Beta, re-install it, run Safe Mode (by typing in 'firefox -safe-mode' into Run, which is in the start menu. I don't know why there is no shortcut for that. XP), disable all the add-ons, and enable all except for this one add-on (and of course any that are incompatible with the Beta).
I hope this is the case with the rest of the people having this problem. If not, i hope we can still solve what it could be. In the meantime, I'm going to report this bug...

But I needed to fix it for ALL users on a computer, without logging onto each account, on each computer. My fix was to logon as administrator and change the following system-global key instead:

Changed the data from FirefoxHtm to AcroExch.Document.11
I use Adobe Reader XI on Win7 Pro, 64-bit machines.
The problem started when I ran a downloaded file to install the new version of Firefox on the computers.
Why would Firefox require me to use REGEDIT in this manner to fix the problem?

This only happens when you set Firefox as the default browser and Firefox thinks that there is currently no application the handles PDF files.

Before hotmail upgraded their website recently I was able to view the email headers using firefox. Not anymore. I have asked Hotmail support. They suggested to untick HTTP 1.1. This worked for IE but not Firefox. Is there another setting I am missing??

Why wont my MBP read my external HDD?

I have an '09 MBP running Lion, and a USB EmBrace Bare Docking Station from ACCStation with a 2.5TB 3.5" MediaMax drive in it, and it doesn't work. On the description of the docking station it said specifically that it worked on both USB 2.0 and 3.0, on all versions of Mac OS, and supports drives over 2.5TB, 2.5" or 3.5" HDDs, and that it was plug in play. When I plug it in, it says can't read drive and I can Initialize, Ignore, or Eject. Initialize makes it appear in Disk Utility and opens the app, but it shows up as unmounted and it wont mount. It came with a disc the size of my thumb. I haven't seen a computer that could take that size disc in 10 years, so when the thing didn't work I had to dig up an old PC to run the disc. I copied the software to a thumb drive, then istalled it on my MBP from the thumb drive. But it still does the same thing.
The MediaMax drive I'm using has over 1TB of data on it, my life basically, I ripped it out of my iMac so I could sell it and now I don't have access to those files. It has Lion installed on it too. I spent $60 on this darn docking station, and the tech support at ACCStation is one of the worst I have ever seen in my entire life, I'm not even sure they even understand what I'm saying. Please, I need help. If this thing is defective I want either an exchange or my full money back, because if I just return it they only give me something like 50% credit back. I don't have the money to waste, moneys tight that's why I'm selling my iMac. I wish I'd gone with eBay, as long as you always read the fine print and do the appropriate research on the product I'm buying I'm virtually always safe. I really hope they didn't just steal my $60 and send me a defective product, or a product that works but is completely useless to me because they exaggerated its capabilities. -.-

Ah isn't this a question and a problem with some other hardware? I would think so. Send it back, get a refund. Or post on there forum for a workable answer.

Firefox memorizes tabs opened when I initiated a close group, exiting out of Firefox to avoid spam websites from downloading onto my computer; why is Firefox re-opening all the tabs I purposely closed down?

On the occasion I search Google.com for images/wallpapers etc while opening multiple tabs, keeping the original page. Seldom the website crashes, causing all my tabs to close, while Firefox restores the websites opened. When this happens, I do appreciate Firefox restoring my lost tabs. However, when I initiate closing the browser, I do NOT wish for Firefox to restore the closed browser. I purposely closed the browser, either the website freezes, or there's spam occurring on that website, or an attempt to download a virus through the 3rd party's website, therefore I choose to shut down the browser in order to start new. When unwanted events like this occurs, I do NOT want Firefox to remember my last browsing history and restore such tabs. It's rather a nuisance and unwanted on Firefox's part. I do not know how to resolve this matter since I'm only a beginner with setting up Privacy settings etc, so please enlighten me.

Firefox 4 saves the previous session automatically, so there is no longer need for the dialog asking if you want to save the current session. 
You can use "Firefox > History > Restore Previous Session" to get the previous session at any time. 
There is also a "Restore Previous Session" button on the default about:home Home page. 
Another possibility is to use:

Make sure that you do not use [[Clear Recent History]] to clear the 'Browsing History' when you close Firefox.

Why wont Firefox 5 warn me when closing multiple tabs? The box in settings is checked.

After I downloaded Firefox 5 it no longer warns me when I'm closing multiple tabs. The box is checked in settings for tabs but it still wont do it. This feature worked fine in Firefox 4. Can this be a glitch?

We are not talking about saving tabs when closing; we're talking about the warning "You are about to close X tabs" that usually shows up when you press the browser's close button. Now when I press the button, everything closes; no warning. I'm fortunate that Firefox does have a "restore previous session" button when you reopen Firefox.

Why wont my mac read certain cds?

Recently I have been having some issues with my cd drive. Some cds when I put them in just spin and spin and then the drive makes a weird clicking sound about every 2 seconds and eventually just ejects the cd out. I've tried with multiple cds, new and old, some work the first time and others dont register at all in itunes or anywhere and again just do this weird spinning and sound clikcing thing before being ejected. Also when I try to eject the cd with the eject button while it is doing that, it wont eject. You don't even see the eject sign on your desktop. Could this be my drive that's going bad, can you take your drive out and replace it or clean it? Is that easy to do or do you have to take apart your computer? Any info or suggestions would be much appreciated.

Does this site use the flash plugin? Regarding the ads, have you checked for malware with other tools than the antivirus already installed on the system.

Use a Master Password. Then when you go to a site which requires you to login and you fill in your details, you'll get the option to "Remember Password" which is pop up (actually a pop-down). If you choose "Yes", then you'll be presented with the Master Password field.
Enter the password you created for it and then the next time you go to that site, you'll get the Master Password field every time. When you type that in and click OK, it will fill in your login details.
The alternative way of doing it is to use the option most sites have which is something like "Remember me" which you have to checkmark. But this option requires you to have cookies enabled permanently.

Why wont Firefox save my password exemptions?

Firefox asks if I want the password remembered every time I log into Yahoo mail . I always click on "Never for this Site". The exemption is saved in the exemptions list but cleared when Firefox closes. I go through the same process everytime I open Firefox and check my Yahoo Mail.
