Why wont my computer won't let me put my apps on my iphone? It states my computer is not authorized, even though when I clicked to authorize it it said it already was.

Not to long ago my computer Hard Drive died, and I got a new one and set my computer up to run. I installed Itunes and recently got a update for my iPhone to 5.0. This took my Music and Apps off my phone. I put my Music back on the phone with no problem, but when I went to place the Apps back on my phone, It told me my computer was not athorized to put it on and told me how to athorize it. I went and athuroized it and it told me it was already athorized. So I went to try agian and still will not put the Apps on my phone. What do I do?

are you saying that your computer is autharized from guessing, or do you know it is becuase it says it. in itunes, go to the advanced tab and the last option in that tab should be either aurhorize, or de-authorize. What does it say?

After an Itunes update Itunes now doesn't let me sync Iphone to computer because it says my computer is not authorized even though it is authorized.

After another lovely Itunes update my Itunes is now not letting me sync my Iphone to my computer. This is the error message I recieve "The Iphone 'Des's Iphone 5' could not be synced because this computer is not longer authorized for purchased items that are on this Iphone. It then tells me to authorize this computer even though it is already authorized. Also I can play all of my purchased itunes items on my computer even though it claims it's not authroized when I am trying to sync. After deauthorizing and reauthorizing numerous times and attempting many other things I have not been able to solve this issue. After looking through these disccussion forums I have not seen anyone with this same issue. I would appreciate any help anyone could provide.

Using new computer. Trying to sync itunes with IPod. Getting message that 65 of my 17k songs can't be synced because computer is not authorized. But when I try to authorize it says Itunes is busy

Copied over all music to computer and installed latest Itunes. Check for new 64 bit software for the modem, other wise you I'll probably have to boot your Mac in 32 bit mode first.. And then every time you want to go online.
I have the Sierra wireless 306 and have their 64 bit lion software installed. Works well.

did you use your sons Apple ID..? If so... those items are tied to that Apple ID.
If your issue is with the Authorization of your New Mac...
On your Computer... Open iTunes...
If you're using iTunes 11 click on the box icon in the top-left corner to see the " Show Menu Bar "
and from the Menu Bar select Store...
From the Store menu, choose Authorize This Computer.

"Computer is no longer authorized" even though when I authorize it, it says it's ALREADY authorized

I'm trying to sync my iPhone with my computer. It says, though that my computer is "no longer authorized for purchased items that are on this iPhone." So I go to Store->authorize, and then it says "this computer is already authorized." (see screenshots for details). But when I try to sync again, it says (again) that it's not authorized.
I've tried:
-deauthorizing all computers, and re-authorizing the one I want to use
-removing the SC Info folder
-logging out and back into iTunes
I'd appreciate any feedback or help.
I'm using the most up-to-date OSX Yosemite 10.10.2, with most up-to-date iTunes (12.1.0.50), and my phone is an iPhone 5s with iOS8.1.3.

I have songs in my iTunes App that will not play. It keeps saying that this computer is not authorized to play would you like to authorize it. I would but its asking me to authorize an account that was changed. What do I do????

I have songs in my iTunes Application that will not play. I keeps saying that this computer is not authourized to play name of song would you like to authourize it. The problem is its the old account I had and that has been changed. How am I going to authorize these songs when this account no longer exists.

I posted about this yesterday -- it happened to me, and the solution was incredibly simple. An Apple tech guy had me delete my SC Info Folder, located on my XP in Application Data.

It wasn't every song, just a few of them. A nightmare to figure out what to do, but it was solved upon reboot.
