Why wont my music stop playing

Why when i click to home my music wont stop playin gettin mad lol

It keeps playing beacause of the multitasking. Even if you mute your iphone/ipod/ipad the song will keep playing itself (but of course you want listen anything).
The only way to stop it is to click "pause".

This is usually a sign that your headphones are not plugged all the way in. Make sure the white part of the headset is flush with the body of the Nano and no silver from the plug can still be seen.
If you are 100% positive that the earbuds are all the way in, double check to make sure the headphone jack is clean and clear of debris and/or damage.

Ok, I just realised that this only happens if the current page in iBooks has a video on it. If the page has only text and images, there is no problem.
I still think it is a bug though. If the video is not running, I don't see why the music player should be stopped. If I choose to start the video on the page, THEN the music player should be stopped.

Why do songs stop playing when I sleep my screen? If my screen automatically sleeps after two minutes or I sleep it with the button or iPad smart cover the music stops playing. It only started doing this after upgrading to 5.0.1. Is this just a bug with the new software?

Thanks Rachel, I have done that and it seemed to have taken care of the problem, though my music videos in "Video" stop playing when my iPad sleeps automatically after two minutes... I am trying to find out how to contact apple about these issues directly...

Why does my music stop playing on my macbook air

I have a macbook air with GB memory and 128GB storage. I"m using Yosemite X OS 10.1.1
Whenever I play music from either my iTunes or Spotify library the music stops after about an hour and the macbook goes into sleep mode. This does not happen on my iPad?
I've tried troubleshooting via system preferences as I thought It might be to do with the screen or energy saver or a limiting function associated with the software. I've looked on both apple and spottily support sites and spoken to friends who have similar products but do not experience the same problem.
I'd be grateful for any ideas

It is normal for your display to turn off while music is playing on your MacBook Pro, but it is unexpected that the computer would go to sleep.
In your case, I'd recommend resetting the System Management Controller (SMC) as a troubleshooting step to try first. This step helps in a variety of cases, including:
The computer sleeps or shuts down unexpectedly.

Hi I got a new iPod classic about 2 months ago and now every time the backlight turns off it stops playing music. Can somebody help me because the only solution I found was to put my backlight to ''always on''

Why does my music stop playing when i reply to a message?

I just updated my iphone 4s to IOS 6.1.1 and im having trouble with it. When im playing music and I get a message, i click on the messaging tab and my music fades out and completely stops. the only way to play it again would be to go back to the music application and press play. before updating, my music would never fade out for a message, only for a call or if i was going to make a video. now its doing it for messages. any ideas how to fix it?

HT3819 why wont some music tracks play on other computers

I cant get itunes to play some tracks I imported from itunes on my other computer in home sharing. Does anyone know why this happens and how can i fix it?

Wow, there is more to this that I thought. I tried all sorts of things, saving as various files. I ended up saving as a mp4 file and it worked fine on the other computer. But the quality is really poor.
In answer to Martin's questions.
I have a brand new MBP, Lion, FCE 4HD
clips came from a sony HD camera, default settings.
FCE is set up for HD Easy Set up, using the AVCHD-Apple Intermediate Codec 1440X1080i50 setting
I did render the sequence, didn't help with .mov export
To export I went to File, Export, QuickTime Movie. That didn't work, so then I went to File, Export, QuickTime Conversion, that still didn't work for the .mov file, so then had to choose MPEG 4.
I just want an easy way to export a movie clip, and allow anyone I send it to, to be able to view it. I wish I could do it with .mov as the quality is better. Is there a way? What codec should I use? And how do I change my settings to that codec?

Greetings from me, the new in this community! I was so proud of myself figuring out by myself how to do video editing. Until now. In my project I was planing to leave the noise of the original recording and next to it was the sound of the music I chose and attached to the video. Now I can see the green or purple lines are still there under the video line but only I hear is the original sound of recording. No sounds of the attached music . What did I do wrong? It's right at an hour (consistently), but the computer goes to sleep prior to that. It's as if iTunes goes to sleep. Also, it wasn't always this way. Originally, the movies played through without interruption. At some point, I guess a setting was changed, and now I only get an hour. Also. My energy settings are set to go to sleep at 10 minutes.

And you are positive the white part of the headset is flush with the body of the Nano?
Have you tried another set of headphones to see if the problem persisted? If so, it's likely that the headphone jack needs replacing.
