Why wont my new version of BT BB Help download

Hi All,
I'm new to this game and thought I would chance this avenue for advise as trying the BT Helpdesk does not work.
My problem is that I keep getting a message saying that a "Critical Update" for BB Help is available, but when I go through the motions as dictated by on-screen instructions an error message keeps on appearing saying " There were problems with the download - try again at a different time".  This has happened at least six times over the past week.
I have a first generation BT Hub 1.0 which is still working normally, it's just this blessed download message that appears each time I switch on.
Am I doing something wrong?
Your help and advise would be most welcome.

If you try an explain what your problem specifically is, instead of "Ive had the same problem" maybe some of the more learned members can assist you, but come on you have to give them a chance.
A lot of forum members do not use any of the software on the supplied CD, because it tends to create more problems than it is worth. Thats why lots of people say dump it.
Go to any ISP`s forums, and most of the members with a bit of knowledge refuse to use any connection software. All they need is the routers ip address and username/password.
I wil come back to the first point:
Please if you have a problem , explain it to the forum.

    Grab SyncToy  2.1, a free tool from MS. This can be used to copy your entire iTunes library (& other important data folders) onto another hard drive or network share. You can then use SyncToy periodically to synchronise or echo your library to the backup. A preview will show which files need to be updated giving you a chance to spot unexpected changes and during the run only the new or updated files will be copied saving lots of time.
    If your media is all organised below the main iTunes folder then you should also be able to open the backup library on any system running the same version of iTunes, regardless of the drive letter or path it appears on.

    My iPad2 works great now after IOS 8.1 Update
    I did my iPad2 update thru iTunes on my iMac and it was sucking the iMacs memory very low during the update. Safari froze before loading the first web page and I did a hard boot and went fishing as I saw where it was going to take a long time to recover. When I tried again it wasn't quite right and then did one more hard boot and then did a Reset by going to General-Reset-"Reset all Settings" and it works real well now without loosing any data and in-home wi-fi clocks at 17Mbps download. Probably like most of you I’m sticking with OSX 10.9.5 Mavericks as it gets the job done very nicely and don’t need all that extra fancy stuff that probably will slow things down.

    That is unfortunately a bug only in Firefox 5 and will be fixed in Firefox 6 (Aug).

    You can get Flash CC to publish to version 9 player by putting these two files in these locations:

    Goes here: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Flash CC\Common\Configuration\Players\FlashPlayer9_0.xml

    Goes here: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Flash CC\Common\Configuration\ActionScript 3.0\FP9\playerglobal.swc
    You may need to create the FP9 folder.
    Restart flash and you should see Player 9 in your publish options.  You'll have to find the AS3 clickTag code.

    Thank you so much. I finally got it to work. I don't know why it has to be such an ordeal when it comes to Adobe products!

    Unless you've recently attempted to downgrade iTunes this is probably a sign of a corrupt library file. See Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash.

    If those photos were part of the camera roll, they were part of the backup as well and you can restore from the latest backup you made on the old computer. After that transfer the photos to the new PC, follow this article: iOS: Importing personal photos and videos from iOS devices to your computer
    Then sync again to the new one, which will erase the phone again.
    You can also try to copy the backup folder from the old computer to the new one and see if the old backups get recognized, check this article to find the location on your PC:
    Create and delete iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch backups in iTunes
    If the photos were not taken with the phone, your data is gone, photos you sync from iTunes to the phone are not included in the backup.
