Why wont the app store let me buy imovie?
I have a mac book pro, with the update OS X Yosemite 10.10 and I want to buy the app Imovie from the app store. But every time I press 'Buy App' it does nothing, It just has the loading symbol at the top. I am logged into my apple account and all my details are correct. please help.
The App Store appears to have been down worldwide over the last few hours. Seems to be up again now.

I'm trying to uptade the apps and also trying to download a video on itunes, but it says "cannot connect ot itunes store" so I signed out and then put my password and user name in and pressed ok, nothing happens!!!! I need help please!!!

Why does the apps store not accept my ID and password, it works fine to log into this forum and it works for the apple store, but not to log in to buy apps, it just keeps telling me that the id or password is wrong, and I know it isn't

Because like a computer, you always need more space that the download size takes up. One reason is that the app needs to be expanded to be installed.

Why did the app store make me purchase Pages again? I already bought Pages, Numbers and Keynote for my Ipad and want to download them onto my Mac Book and they aren't in the purchases tab. I thought I would try clicking on the buy button for Pages, thinking, it would say I already purchased this app, but it didn't. Where are all my purchases? I used the same Apple ID I use for all my Apple devices. Help! I really don't want to buy them all again.
The version of Pages, Keynote and Numbers for the Mac will be different than the iOS version and will require a separate purchase.

Whenever I bring up the App Store application, it takes ages to load. I just closed App Store and started it again, and it took a full TWO MINUTES for "featured" items to come up. Whenever I try to download something, it takes way longer than any other major download site I use.
I live in Japan, use the Japan App Store, and am on a 30mbs connection. So why does the App Store take so long to load and download?Has it always been like that?

My Macbook Air 10.7.3 seems to be operating well. Why is the App store completely updating my os? (4.04GB download)
If you have a copy of an older installer left on your system, it's updating the installer to 10.7.3.

Why is the app store not synced with icloud? Have so many logins and cannot login to one or the other sometimes. Wanted the latest updates to an app my friends already got and could not get the update all day long.

Why does the App Store always crash
Why does the app store always crash when I go to use the app genius on my ipod touch, it does it everytime. It even does it ocasionaly when I search for apps. Whats going on Apple. Please look into this or tell me how to turn genius off if thats what is causing the crashes, I can't find how to turn it off in the settings.
The most usual explanation would be that you need to update or you have to many things taking up your memory

I can't find Mavericks icon on the dashboard or launchpad either! Help!It sounds like you've installed Mavericks. You can confirm this by clicking on the Apple located at the top left of the screen and choosing "About This Mac" from the menu. You should see a window appear with the text "Version 10.9.1" near the middle.
If it says "Version 10.9.1", then you've installed Mavericks. It still says "Download" in the App Store because you can still download the operating system after installing it. This is useful if you want to download it for a friend, or create a USB boot drive.
