Why would anyone not use VBR?

FYI, I'm not an audio guru, and while I don't use the best audio equipment, I also don't buy the cheapest stuff out there.
All that aside, my question to the many very knowledgeable people here is: why would someone not want to check the VBR option when encoding?

Because it can sometimes interfere with importing for one and not everyone can appreciate the difference.

Normal secured WiFi requires only a password to get access. The password is used to encrypt traffic between your device and the WiFi access point. If whatever you are using requires a username as well then it is not simply normal secured WiFi. If the exception is being handled by the caller, meaning that the exception is listed in the EXCEPTIONS section of the
funciton call, then the program will handle it gracefully and continue processing,if it is not in this section of the
funciton call, and it is raised inside the funciton module,
it will issue an ABAP dump and end. This is true for
foreground processing as well as background processing.

What programme creates a .ggi file and why would it be used?

Have been asked to create a .ggi file and I have never come across this file extension before.
I have googles it and got as much information as possible but can't seem to find the answer - why would it be used, what is it used for and what software creates it.
Also, not sure where to ask this question so apologies if this is in the wrong forum!

We can't know. File extensions are completely arbitrary and if whoever requested the format can't tell you what he/ she needs, then we can't either. If it were a commonly used file format we would probably not, but since we don't, it is probably a proprietary format associated with some lesser known or even exotic software. That being so, the request to provide such a file is actually even pretty stupid, since the only way to create it would be to have access to that program. Causal loop.

Why would Verizon not replace my Samsung Galaxy S5 that is not performing the way I need it to?

My Samsung Galaxy S5 will not allow me to have my corporate exchange email and my personal .com email on it at the same time. I have spent hours on the phone with Verizon technical support as well as Samsung and according to both, the phone will not allow it and the only thing I can do is to pay for a "touchdown" application to manage my emails. If the phone does not allow such a simple function that all other phones seem to do, why would Verizon not sympathize and replace the phone with something that would work for me. I been a loyal customer for over 8 years and the only thing I was told was that "the system would not allow them" to swap out the phone with something else. Unbelievable. Has anyone else had a similar issue?

clearly they were planning on releasing this update to us, otherwise on the spalsh screen it would have stated ipad 2 only, note in the sentence above it states it CLEARLY makes a reference to ipad 2 for airplay, so, whatever the problem, they can fix it and they know it works!

The unix commands you need are:
GetFileInfo
SetFileInfo
and maybe find
for cryptic details use the man command
Macintosh-HD -> Applications -> Utilities -> Terminal
man SetFileInfo
You may use the SetFileInfo command to set the file type & the program which will open the file.
# This little gem will do a get info on all files in a directory.

You can pretty much point to the same risks at stake for Google, Microsoft, Yahoo, or what-have-you. No one else requires you to use a primary account other than their own.
The predicament you mentioned could easily be resolved by requiring multiple contact numbers and addresses, which Apple kind of does already.
My thinking is there's either something more 'sinister' at play, or Apple just haven't really took the time to think about this issue.

Your AppleTV should not be looking for any wifi, It should be looking for your wifi. What kind of wifi router do you have and how far is it from your AppleTV?

I'm unable to update Firefox. operation can't be completed because you don't have permission to access some of the items. I own the computer, why would I not have permission? This has happened other times and I don't know what it means.

Why index is not used by this table

Currently I'm facing problem with tuning one sql statement.
It shows that full table scan in ZTLTBC_FILTER cost 15:19.
But in table ZTLTBC_FILTER, it have index with field
index 1    MANDT INT_NAME FNAME VALUE
index 2    MANDT EXEC_ID COUNTER
index 3    MANDT INT_NAME VALUE
the last statistic date for these index is three months before
Could you please help to find out the reason why index is not used? statistics are old or small distinct value for field INT_NAME?
How to solve this full table scan problem?
