I can't get past the welcome screen before the color wheel shows up and the program freezes. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, running disk first aid, etc.
Other programs like DreamWeaver launch fine, so this is very confusing.

I have Adobe Master Suite CS6 for Windows 7 on a 64x Dell PC. In Fireworks, I made a selection at a check box directing the software to find textures on my server (I dont remember the window name). Since then, I have not been able to open up Fireworks. When I go to select the icon to open my fireworks software, it gets locked on the splash screen at the "Initializing Textures" stage. It stays on for about 10 minutes then disappears never opening the software.
HELP!!!! I have already tried uninstalling & reinstalling (Fireworks Only) yet to no avail, I still dont have the use of Fireworks anymore. Any clues how I can resolve the problem?

Trash the prefs in your user directory (C:Users\You\AppData\Roaming\Adobe and so on).

Have you tried closing the Mail app completely ? From the home screen (i.e. not with Mail 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Mail app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then you could try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

What user troubleshooting have you done on the phone? The steps are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new. Understand that a restore will put the latest iOS on your device. It is also possible there is a hardware fault on the device and the Bluetooth is failing. Anything is possible given the scenario you describe.
And as far as iOS 7.x is concerned, we have 5 different iPhones here at home, all with the latest iOS, a 4, 4s, 5c, and 2-5s and all are working just fine. So, a blanket statement such as the one provided by the other poster is not completely true. Others are not having any issues at all either.

Hi everyone, My Microcell stopped working after working fine for over a year
What happens now is that when it boots up all is green but the wireless network bars LED keeps flashing forever.
I know that as part of the normal boot process it first scans all 3G channels to pick the least conflicting ones before it initializes the internal 3G radio. Typically that takes good 10 minutes. However now it never finishes that scan and gets stuck there blinking green forever. Obviously nothing has changed on my side of things; I don't know whether something has changed in the neighborhood in terms of AT&T area controller or what not. Any help will be very much appreciated. Thak you!

Do you have an active postpaid AT&T mobile account?
Is your MicroCell white or black?
Who is your ISP and is your service ADSL, cable, wireless or satellite?
What are your suscribed download and upload speeds as stated by your ISP?
Have you tested your internet speeds (http://www.speedtest.net/)? Please run the test and post your latency, download and upload speeds.
Have you tested your connection for VoIP quality (http://www.voipqualitytest.com/)? Please run the test and post the results that are listed under the "Advanced" tab.
Are you using the basic connection (modem -> router -> MicroCell) or the alternate connection (modem -> MicroCell -> router/computer)? The alternate connection is not possible with the black (DPH-154) MicroCell as it has no Ethernet output but it can be connected directly to the modem to temporarily test the Microcell without the network connected.
Are all of the cables firmly in place?
Do you have a combined modem/router (gateway) or a separate modem and router? What are the makes and model numbers for your equipment?
Have you met the minimum requirements for router settings as outlined in the Tech Guide?
What other equipment (access points, switches, computers, WiFi components, gaming consoles, etc.) do you have connected to your network?
What does the light pattern look like on the MicroCell (power, ethernet, GPS, and 3G)? Are they all a solid green or is any of them blinking green or red, and if so, which one?
Have you done a hard reset of the MicroCell? See the Tech Guide for instructions.
Have you deactivated and reactivated your Mcell using AT&T's MicroCell website?
Does the ac adapter feel warmer than the top of the MicroCell where the vents are?

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

Seagate Backup Plus Suddenly Read Only After Working Fine

So I bit on a good deal on a Seagate external drive for backup. I set it up to run with Time Machine and it worked fine for months. Then, suddenly, Time Machine could no longer write to the drive. I can still read and recover old backups but I cannot write to the drive or change my rights. I have updated the firmware on the drive. No help. Disk repair fails and my Mac tells me to format the drive and start over.
However, I don't consider that a solution.
Any other thoughts? I see a lot of other issues out there including for NTFS formatting but I am using Mac formatting.

More often it isn't the drive as much as the drive enclosures.
The combination of USB2 and TimeMachine also have contributed with problems. Also more common when using 'green' drives that have their own parking, going to sleep, reducing power and putting drive into standby and then taking longer to be online. Last item that caused users trouble were the bus-powered, like WD Passport drives that do not have their own power supply and depend on USB bus (USB3 is better).
Even WD drive cases have had trouble and problems, but not the actual drive. The corruption is in large part due to how and what happens with Mac HFS+ when a drive is not properly "safely" ejected.
I would be careful with name brand enclosures. Some WD enclosures built the case into and around the drive, the drives are not removable... at all.
You might want to source a drive case on Amazon or elsewhere or OWC www.macsales.com which do allow swapping out drives.

I just upgraded to the April 2 release to see if it helps and it did not.
I talked to paypal and tested the buttons on their testing website and they worked fine.
I did not use the widget in Muse to create...I cut and paste the code from paypal.com button creator.
