Why would verizon not let pre paid use on 4g

You are not allowing 4g to be used on your pre pay plans. When other companies will allow bring your phone to their companies and activate. Someone at Verizon is dropping the ball and forcing their customers to other companies...seems like bad business plan to me!!!

I understand your concern, 04paula! At this time, prepay service only operates on 3G technology. Since 4G is not available, a 4G device is not compatible. Go to vzw.com/prepay to view available devices.

My Samsung Galaxy S5 will not allow me to have my corporate exchange email and my personal .com email on it at the same time. I have spent hours on the phone with Verizon technical support as well as Samsung and according to both, the phone will not allow it and the only thing I can do is to pay for a "touchdown" application to manage my emails. If the phone does not allow such a simple function that all other phones seem to do, why would Verizon not sympathize and replace the phone with something that would work for me. I been a loyal customer for over 8 years and the only thing I was told was that "the system would not allow them" to swap out the phone with something else. Unbelievable. Broke new phone Verizon couldn't help even give me form for insurance I pay for in their stores.Seperate corp.Had no Internet waited 2 weeks mail me form.They suck.Did run across 1 dude finially knew his stuff and personally handeled many problems.It was after most working there didn't took me month replacement phone mailed.If customers service person seems new ask for someone can fix problems asap.

2 apple ID's to 1. With so many people having the same issue of 2 legitimate accounts by accident or whatever, why would Apple not let us merge them into one? It would simplify our lives and I don't see why Apple won't allow this.

2 accounts to 1. I was so anxious to set up my new iPad at the store that I accidentally set up a new Account. With so many people requesting to merge 2 legitimate accounts that they own, I can't understand why Apple is refusng to allow us to do so! This would simplify our lives so much. I have just switched over to Apple products and if I could at least set up both accounts on my iPad it would help -without signing in and out. I could do this on my android.

The 1G iPod can only go as high as 3.1.3. The 1G does not have an internal speaker or volume buttons on the upper left edge.

Normal secured WiFi requires only a password to get access. The password is used to encrypt traffic between your device and the WiFi access point. FYI, I'm not an audio guru, and while I don't use the best audio equipment, I also don't buy the cheapest stuff out there.
All that aside, my question to the many very knowledgeable people here is: why would someone not want to check the VBR option when encoding?

Because it can sometimes interfere with importing for one and not everyone can appreciate the difference.

It is disabled by default on all ports.
Since it prevents loops, in the absence of receiving BPDUs on non-designated ports, why would it not be enabled by default?

Good luck with that. FCC already did and have left it alone... My theory is because... Google charges carriers to use allow devices to use it. At one point Sprint paid to go exclusive for wallet. FCC can't force you to buy your competitors product.

I'm unable to update Firefox. operation can't be completed because you don't have permission to access some of the items. I own the computer, why would I not have permission? This has happened other times and I don't know what it means.

I just wanted to update firefox and it won't let me. I drag the icon into applications, then a window ask me if I want to replace older version. I click yes and the window mentioned above appears. I purchased this computer new, I'm the only owner. Why would I not give myself permission to do something on my own computer.

If you get an error message that you do not have sufficient permissions or have problems with updating then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.

Well, the format I upload from the camera is "video clip" or "video for Windows"...sometimes I've converted them to avi format, too. But as I said, it never even lets me get that far...I never get to even select a clip. As soon as I tell the program to "import/clip" it freezes up before I can even go to the folder that the clips are in. It has only begun to do this recently, and I'd never had any problems like this before. Last night I tried it again, and I clicked "open composition", and it froze when I did that too.
I'm not sure how much more specific I can be about the details of the clips, since I'm positive it has nothing to do with the clips themselves...I'm running Windows XP, though...Home Edition Service Pack 2, Pentium 4 CPU 2.80GHz, with 504 MB of RAM. I have had the automatic updates turned on since I did my last reformat a couple of weeks ago. Could it have something to do with some kind of an update it may have done?

Verizon wi fi for hot spots does not work with Windows 8. For verification go to FAQs about Verizon Wi-Fi for FiOS Internet,

Since you can't even download the wi fi for hot spots software if you have Windows 8, I don't know how to use compatability mode to get around the problem,

Maybe a driver got messed up. I don't know what operating system you have but I know my Win 7 likes to forget drivers every once in a while.
Also, if you have a newer device and older version of iTunes (10 or less) then that iTunes simply may not be able to recognize your newer device.
The first thing I'd check is if you have the latest iTunes.
If so, try plugging your cable into a different port.
Try swapping cables in case that one is bad
You can also give your device a reset. Sometimes the device turns off it's charging/syncing port and the reset turns that back on. You reset by holding down the sleep and home keys until you see the silver apple. Let it reboot and try again.
If none of that works you may need to uninstall and reinstall iTunes. You're just uninstalling the program, as far as I've experienced it doesn't delete any content.

Apple has no App Store in Iran. The US Government has severe restrictions on US companies doing business in Iran, and there may well be other issues such as lack of available infrastructure, issues with Iranian law, or other problems that would also prevent Apple from doing business there.
Unless and until Apple is able to open an App Store in your country there's nothing you can do, and quite frankly I think that's not likely to happen anytime in the foreseeable future.

I am just wondering why Apple do not let people download Safari for Mac using a windows machine? The only available options are windows XP and windows XP + quicktime.
Do they think that users are so stupid that don't know what system they have?

It's probably telling you that you need 1.5 more GB than you have available. Hook up your device to iTunes on the computer you sync with and do the update from there. OTA updates require a lot more memory than ones done via iTunes.
