Why WWSSO_LS_CONFIGURATION_INFO$ changed name?

Hi,
I had this table for portal30_sso user:
WWSSO_LS_CONFIGURATION_INFO$ in which I set up the customer login info about two months ago. But This table is not there and instead I found this one:
WWSSO_LS_CONFIGURATION_INFO_T, and looks like it has the same content as the old one. It this the same one or two different tables? why is it changed?
Now I need to change my login again, what effects the name change have and what should I do to update this table?
Thanks in advance.

You should be able to access the content of the new table using old name.
Infact, there is a object view with name WWSSO_LS_CONFIGURATION_INFO$ .
You should be able to do normal operation(update, select, etc) on the view
if you need to do that.

  • CUP change name link

    Hi All
In CUP 5.3, in End user Personalization, there should be a field as "Change Name Link". To my surprise, this field is available in DEV server but only this particular field is not available in our GRC PRD server (both the servers have identical configuration).
Could somebody share some possible reason/resolution for this discrepancy?
    Thanks
    Abhijeet

    Hi Abhijeet,
I surprise why the 'CHANGE NAME LINK filed not showing.
But If you can login to oracle database and insert the following enrty then your problem will be resolved.
    insert into sapsr3db.VT_AE_EU_PRSNL values ('CHANGE NAME LINK',1,'',0,1,0);
But SAP will not recommend this procedure. By inserting one row in the table will not harmful, You can go with it.

  • Why not change the  Macintosh HD to a shorter name.

I have a friend that picked up a Mac mini with OS X 10.5.8 and one for the first things
I noticed was the previous owner had changed the name of the single drive from Macintosh HD
    to a shorter name
I recall reading somewhere that it is not a good idea to change the name of the primary
hard drive from Macintosh HD and I cannot remember why.
Can someone point me to a document that describes why the primary hard drive should not be renamed?

{Usually the problem occurs when a user changes the Short Name of the
computer where it affects how it is then seen in a network, and does this
    improperly so the computer can't be networked until this issue is fixed.}
    • Mac OS X: How to change user short name or home directory name:

    • How do I change the Owner's Name on my Mac?
    http://www.askdavetaylor.com/howto_change_owners_name_applemac.html
And if you change the Short Name (account user, etc) then KeyChain
access and other items may well be a real problem to weed out & fix.
Note the comments, after the basic info in this thread:
    • Changing Names - Root - Mac Gems - MacWorld:
    http://www.macworld.com/article/41481/2004/12/changeshortname.html
Or, if a user changes the name of their User Account, improperly, then the
account won't match the password and other issues will result; unless it
is fixed or the problem of changing the name incorrectly in the first place
is avoided; since there is a proper way to change the short name of the
computer (not that on the icon of the hard disk drive, btw) and a correct
way, a process, to change the user account name.
It is not advised to change the User name on an account or that of the
Computer's name where it is seen on a network. That aside, the name
change of the computer's Hard Disk Drive, at the icon on the desktop,
can be avoided by using Dock preferences to Hide the HDD so it will
not appear on the desktop at all. (Kids in schools change the HDD icon's
name frequently, when it is available and the computer not set up to
work under the Parental Controls or lower user account privilege access.)
+You can change the name of the Hard Disk Drive and that won't make+
+much difference; except in those cases where you have an Alias of the+
+original name, since it would no longer activate access to the Mac HD.+
I got over the urge to change the HDD name some time ago. However
if you partition the original hard disk drive so you have two icons on the
Desktop, you could have fair reason to change the names if you like.
(Just remember, if you make a clone, or do any complete computer drive
backup to some external device, the name change could affect the result.)
If you have an Intel-based Mac running Windows, you may have a different
matter in re-naming the hard disk drive; since Windows may require another
avenue into the means to rename that drive. And then, that may be a problem.
*You can change the Mac HD to any name.* In previous Mac OS (pre-x) versions
it was also common for users to change the hard drive icon to some other one,
and if they'd named the computer (a monster name, for example) a new image
for the icon could easily be applied through a copy-paste. In fact, that may still
be something one may be able to do, through a different agency in OS X.
And, when installing an all-new OS X, you can also change the name of the Mac HD
in Disk Utility, since the name is blank after choosing a partition scheme & reformat.
The real issue revolve around changing the computer's short name, and changing
the user's account name(s) since this is where problems begin that are harder to fix.
If the rules are followed in regard to these two, going into the situation, problems
are more readily avoided. I just don't change those things, since I'm too busy.
    Good luck & happy computing!

  • Why does the name change to my dad's name when I use his credit card for downloads?

I have an iPod touch. I have my own apple ID and icloud account. Why does the name change to my dad's name when I use his credit card for downloads? Is there a way I can have my own account and use my dad's card without having his name on my photostream and icloud?
I went on icloud.com and changed my name but it changes the credit card name to mine as well so I can't get apps unless its under his name, but it confuses everyone i share photo streams with, as there are two of my dads?
My aunt is having the same problem with her photostream, so I know its not only me.

I have this problem and it's annoying.  Plenty of people in this world do not pay for their own stuff!.  So i have 5 kids.  All there accounts show as my name when people add them for Photo streams etc etc.  This is ridiculous.  Why not seperate billing address / credit card details to the name of the person on the account?  Why do they have to be the same?

  • Why did my base station change names?

For the last 3 years my network had two names. NicTonTimCap and NicTon guest. I wake up this morning to see flashing Amber light and can only find Harry's WiFi Network. The same password worked but why did this happen?
    Thanks,
    Harry

When you open the airport utility go to the wireless tab.. has the name actually changed for wireless..
If so this might all be part of the way Apple is trying to help you automate file transfers by a strange peer to peer process.. although how it can self setup the airport is a mystery..
I would put it down to a fresh bug in Yosemite.. reset the network names to what YOU want.. if it happens again and you have applecare then ring apple to see if they have some new functionality in Yosemite that automatically changes names of the wireless network.
I presume your computer name is Harry (or some part thereof).

  • Sproxy: why are ABAP names changed upon regeneration?

    Hello, everyone.
I've got a small question regarding proxies regeneration via sproxy. In our system we have a datatype enhancement in ESR with several complex properties (internal tables), say, FIELD_1, FIELD_2 and so on. When the proxy was first created, the system generated types for each of these properties: BLAH_BLAH_TAB1 for FIELD_1, BLAH_BLAH_TAB2 for FIELD_2 and so on.
Recently I had to regenerate the proxy (a new element had been added to the XSD the proxy is based on). What happened next is the following: the sproxy changed the type names for all the complex properties, so FIELD_1 type name is now BLAH_BLAH_TAB2, FIELD_2 is BLAH_BLAH_TAB2, etc. Important note: the types themselves are OK, they conform XSD, however they are now known under different names.
This has caused a huge pain since those auto-generated types are used in several FMs and reports, so I had to change the names back manually (thankfully, sproxy allows names to be defined by hand).
My question is: how can I make sproxy keep the auto-generated names unchanged upon proxy regeneration? Or this is not possible and one should not address those types directly at all (too bad, a lot of code will need to be changed)?
    Thanks in advance.

Yes, it has always worked in the past.  The past projects audio clips do not change names.  I obviously did something different in this current project, but unfortunately I have no idea what.

  • 7 good reasons, why artist=album name is not the solution for compilations

    Hi,
in this forum everytime the compilations-problem is discussed, somebody comes up with the solution to fill the album-name into the artist name field and to set the song-title name to "Artist / Song-Title". This might help with the cover-flow issue but does have the following downsides:
7 good reasons, why artist=album name is no alternative for compilations
    ========================================================================
    1) It messes up the artist search.
    2) Unability to turn the display of artists on compilations on or off on demand without changing all the tags
    3) The mp3 tags are not used in the standard way
    4) "Artist / Song-Title" as song-title name is often too long to display
    5) The album name appears twice in the song information display when the song is playing (as the artist name and as the album name)
    6) This is not consistent with how it works in iTunes
    7) People owning a lot of compilations are forced to do A LOT of manual changes only to "fix it" back when (hopefully soon) a new firmware fixing this issue arrives
I already posted this as an answer in another thread but I thought it might be helpful to discuss this in an own thread. What do you think about the reasons? Can you add additional reasons?
If Apple really left out the compilations-flag on purpose (see http://discussions.apple.com/message.jspa?messageID=5401783#5401783) we might need some good arguments to bring it back in.
    Best regards, Jens

Yes, I agree with your list. I also think it is inconceivable that Apple simply forgot to add the compilations feature. There obviously has to be a good reason for this. However, I haven't got a clue what that reason might be.

  • Folders in iphone / windows randomly changing name

A couple of updates ago the folders in my iphone4s suddenly changed names and now keep changing names - this makes it really difficult for me to locate the last images I took as the folder name has changed and using view by date / modified makes no difference. I have to plough through each randomly named, randomly ordered folder to find what I want.
This is connecting to PC running windows 7 professional via usb, no itunes, I do not want itunes.
    Cheers

OK, I've got it figured out.
Somehow, the permissions of the invisible .DS_Store file in my Applications folder was changed so that nothing I did as an Administrator was taking effect on a permanent basis. That is, only the System could effect a positional or size change in any given folder--but not me, the Administrator.
This is very easy to fix, thankfully. Launch "TinkerTool" (or some similar app) and check the "Show hidden and system files" box. Relaunch the finder to behold all the new files showing almost everywhere.
Open the offending folder "(Applications" in my case), and Get Info on the newly-revealed ".DS_Store" file therein. You will notice, most likely, that in the "Sharing and Permissions" area only the System can "Read & Write" to this folder. In my case the Administrator (ME!) was given only "Read" permissions . . . which I quickly changed to "Read & Write"!
I checked this setting with other non-problematic folders, and my suspicions were confirmed. They revealed that the Administrator could "Read & Write" to them--as intended.
All is well now. (Use TinkerTool to reset the hidden files, of course.) I have no idea how or why the invisible .DS_Store file was altered, but it is working as intended once again.
    Hope this helps, brimd!

  • Application folder Changed name for no apparent reason.... Help Pls

    Hello there
I just install Leopard (and updated to 10.5.5) on my macbook pro. Checked few things in the Application folder, then few minutes later I went back to it, to realized that it had changed name to ( 0..) I've no idea why???? And another empty Application folder was created in the same path MAC HD/ Library
    1) Any idea why this happened.
    2) I wonder if there are any implications if I drag and drop all the app folders that reside in the now 0.. folder on to the new applications support folder.
    Thanks for Your help.

I have no idea why this happened, but as to renaming I would drag the new empty Applications folder to the trash and rename the original currently 0 back to Applications.
Then check that this correctly renamed Applications folder has permissions set to:
    System: read and write
    admin: read and write
    everyone: read only
Then in Disk Utility (Applications /Utilities) do Repair Permissions.
    See how that goes.

My work computer (this mac) i use with my private icloud account so I have access to my private calendars etc. My husband's airbook is also connected to that icloud (since I only have 1 icloud account) and so is our shared ipad. Is that where the problem is? Do I need to change everything on those devises into my name too? Thanks again for you time and help!
So you are sharing the account. Very bad idea.
Get your husband his own account and stop sharing yours, they are free.

  • Why is computer name now followed by (3) in finder?

why is computer name now followed by (3) in finder? Now my MacBook Pro is called Matts MacBook Pro (3)?

    Mculmore,
I believe and if I'm right the thing what has changed is your computers network name. The reason this happen is quite technical and even I'm not 100% sure why, but it has something to do with when your computer requests that name on your network and your network says it is already taken. Your computer then appends its name to make up for it by adding a ( # ) number to it. Your network for some reason probably didn't release the name back in time. Mine has done this before as well. If you would like to change your computers name back to you can go to.
System Preferences -> Sharing -> Then change ( Computer Name ) back to what it was.
    Hope that helps,

  • SAP BCM changes name to SAP Contact Center

    New name

Contact Center Software | Customer Service Applications | SAP | SAP

I do not have a full confidence that I'm personally good with this. Explain why:
    1. Abbreviation (I assume it will be SAP CC) will still be confusing. There is already a solution with the same abbreviation: SAP Convergent Charging. BCM was also sometimes confused with Bank Communication Management solution.
    2. Contact Center will probably be confused with SAP CRM Interaction Center solution/functionality. I can imagine a statement in some PoCs or other documents: "Integration of SAP Contact Center with SAP CRM Interaction Center". And if somebody will forget to put "SAP CRM" in this statement and will use simple "SAP Interaction Center" instead. Oh yeah...
But I should admit that I don't have other suggestions... The new name is certainly clearer then previous one. And it's already renamed anyway.

  • Icon wont change name-how do i fix?

i partitioned my HD with bootcamp, installed XP........now i want to rename "untitled" to XP HD
normally when i click on the text under the XP i can rename it...but now thats not working
Why? and how can i fix it?.............is it because i am showing statistics under the Icon (10.69GB)

i called Apple and found out what the problem was,I am posting THIS incase anyone else has the problem
The Icon that would not change names was the bootcamp Icon which now has a version of Windows Xp in it.
I installed Xp in NTFS format, had i done it in FAT i could have changed the icons name ,If i had changed it PRIOR to installing XP i could have changed the name
How i ended up changing it was i had to boot into Windows
then click into My Computer-->Properties--> and change the name inside the properties box from Local C: to XP HD............when i booted back to OS10 it automatically updated itself
I also had to connect a Windows Mouse to my use to Right click into Properties on my computer.

  • Why java file name and class name are equal

could u explain why java file name and class name are equal in java

The relevant section of the JLS (?7.6):
When packages are stored in a file system (?7.2.1), the host system may choose to enforce the restriction that it is a compile-time error if a type is not found in a file under a name composed of the type name plus an extension (such as .java or .jav) if either of the following is true:
    * The type is referred to by code in other compilation units of the package in which the type is declared.
    * The type is declared public (and therefore is potentially accessible from code in other packages).
This restriction implies that there must be at most one such type per compilation unit. This restriction makes it easy for a compiler for the Java programming language or an implementation of the Java virtual machine to find a named class within a package; for example, the source code for a public type wet.sprocket.Toad would be found in a file Toad.java in the directory wet/sprocket, and the corresponding object code would be found in the file Toad.class in the same directory.
When packages are stored in a database (?7.2.2), the host system must not impose such restrictions. In practice, many programmers choose to put each class or interface type in its own compilation unit, whether or not it is public or is referred to by code in other compilation units.
