I had the same thing and I have a fully working phone now. All I did was book an appointmant at my nearest Apple store at the Genius Bar and when he looked it over he did a full internal scan on my phone. The phone was not registering the wifi chip and as I had a warranty on my phone they just swapped it over. My new iphone works perfectly and I still have all my apps, photos, videos and songs from my old phone.

I am facing problems with mails after update iPhone 4S/io7. I have configured yahoo mail in iPhone 4S. When I click on refresh, it shows new mail downloaded but when I go inside inbox the new mail don't show up. Can anyone help me with this iOS 7 issue ?

Perform a hard reboot
Hold down the Home button and Power button on your iPhone or iPad and keep holding them until you see the Apple logo. Once you do, you can let go. When your device boots back up, go ahead and check to see if the apps have started re-downloading. If they still appear to be stuck, continue on. -

ChetanFind out exactly where your friend purchased it. If they did not get it directly from Apple, it was most likely hacked, not legitimately unlocked.

Just downloaded Illustrator CC 2014 and none of the new features are showing up. Can anyone help? Thanks! I really need to figure it out so I can start using the awesome new features for Illustrator.
in creative cloud does it show as up to date? if not "Update illustrator"
if it does I would think about uninstalling illustrator and re-installing.

Deleted iPhoto photos showing in Aperture - can anyone help?
Having imported my iPhoto images (1000s of them) into Aperture using the option of keeping current location (i.e. iPhoto), i busily started to delete photos (particulalry RAW files) from iPhoto. Unfortunately, these photos are still showing in Aperture - albeit with a yellow warning triangle?
Questions:
1. Why are these appearing? Anyway I can make them disappear?
2. How can I put all my images into Aperture now and make iPhoto redundant so that it does not happen again? I have tried to import but Aperture says i need > 150GB of space in order to do the import (which I don't have).
Thanks!What you are seeing in Aperture are the previews Aperture created of the imported images. The reason they have the yellow triangle is because the master is gone from where Aperture expects it to be.
As I understand your situation the images you are deleting are ones you don't want anymore in either iPhoto or Aperture, correct? (I hope so because if you deleted them and emptied the system trash they are gone from both programs for good).
So what you want to do is get rid of the preview images of the images you deleted. Not an easy task, most users want to get the masters back. You can try selecting all the images that are missing there masters and delete the previews but I'm not really sure this will get rid of them totally from Aperture.
The correct way to have done this would have been to do the deleting from inside Aperture. This way all remnants of the images would be removed from the Aperture library. -
My FaceTime won't send the verify address email. Can anyone help
I need help. When I first set my account it worked. I had to change apple I'd password and now I can't face time I log in it goes to validating email address. Takes awhile. Then it says it can't. It says it's sending a email to validate but the email never shows up. Can anyone help
I had a similar problem with an old apple ID (using a gmail addy) - I could log into itunes etc.. all fine on my macbook but facetime had a similar issue to THuffDaddy's with verifying email address. It looked like it had verified, but then hung... and eventually came back with could not verify. It had worked previously but just started having issues for some reason.
I used rayminsters idea around logging in with my old apple id (and password) into the support section and found I could change the apple ID (which was my email) (with all other info unchanged).
Put in a secondary email address and when thru the verification process, then changed the primary address/apple ID and logged into facetime (with the same pwd but diff email id) with it and it worked.
So I logged back out of facetime and changed my email address back to what it (so people could get hold of me) was and logged back into facetime with no issues.
While it worked for me it might not work for everyone.. and might be a little late for the above ppl.. but might help someone...

I have an iphone 4 and changed my Apple id EMAIL ADDRESS online with no problems. I changed it on the phone in 'Music' but the STORE APP now wont accept my password and shows the previous email address even after syncing, Can anyone help please?

If it's iCloud that is asking for these details:
This feature has been introduced to make stolen phones useless to those that have stolen them.
However it can also arise when the user has changed their Apple ID details with Apple and not made the same changes to their iCloud account/Find My Phone on their device before upgrading to iOS 7, or if you restore from a previous back up made before you changed your details.
The only solution is to change your Apple ID back to its previous state with Apple at My Apple ID using your current password, you don’t need access to this address if it’s previously been used with your Apple ID, once you have saved these details enter the password as requested on your device and then turn off "find my phone" and delete the account from your device.
You should then change your Apple ID back to its current state, save it once again and then log back in using your current Apple ID. Finally, turn "find my phone" back on once again.

If it's iTunes asking for these details:
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iTunes account on your iOS device, you need to sign out from your iOS device first, then sign back in using your updated details. (Settings > iTunes & App store, scroll down and tap your ID)
If you are using iMessages or FaceTime, you will also need to log out and into your ID there too. -
Hi, I've just appear to have deleted my iphone and now all I'm getting is the Apple icon.

I have a 1st generation apple TV, which was working perfectly until I changed from a Windows PC to a Imac. The Apple TV will not show in Itunes. I have changed the IP address, sub mask and Router IP address. Since changing I have switched everything of and on again. Can anyone help?
I have a new router and computer. I have just remembered that just before my old PC died on me, I transferred my iTunes library to a hard drive. I can't remember exactly just how I got my library back, but there are definately things in my library now that were in my library on my old PC! Hope this makes sense. What do you mean by same location? Do you mean in the same place in the house?
Another difference I have just thought of was my old router was connected directly to the computer bu I have not been able to do this with Sky as my PC is not near a phone socket! Will this make a difference? -
Emails from hotmail alias still showing as from primary email address - can anyone help?

I've added an alias email address using Manage Identities.
When I compose an email from that alias address, I can choose my alias email address in the 'From' bar - so that bit seems to be working.
But the recipient is still seeing my primary address in the 'From'.
Can anyone help?
Just to clarify - I'm talking about a primary and an alias email in Outlook/hotmail, not two separate email accounts.
Many thanks in advanceThis comes down to how your email provider operates "alias" email accounts. They may be overridng whatever "from:" address you choose to use, in which case you may need to find an alternative provider.

I noticed a couple of days ago that my url bar on my imac was no longer there,I am new to the apple community and I am not sure how to progress with my qustion. I have tried selecting :- view / customise toolbar but the dropdown box which has various options to drag and drop does not show the address bar I am stuck can you help
