wi-fi connectivity issues on my iPhone 5S here. Recognizes wifi, shows full signal but no functional internet connectivity and no email updated. Had to reboot my iphone 5s to get emails. If I turn off wi-fi, then email works fine.
When I updated my iPhone 5s to iOS 8.0.2 and everything was working fine, for a few hours, then I began to lose connectivity with emails and safari. I notice that it works fine thru AT&T but thru wi-fi is an on-going issue.

Yes, despite being it an iPhone5 (8.0.2) attempting to connect to an Airport Express.
In my case the iPhone "connects" to Airport Express 2nd generation, but no Internet packages are available; Airport Utility shows the Airport Express as not connected to the Internet; but the iMac, MBP, Motorola phone, Samsung Smart TV and HP printer connect without any trouble.
The actual issue is the DHCP :
sometimes the iPhone gets none, and
when an address is assigned it just doesn't work,
even renewing the address won't work all the times,
switching off and on the WiFi won't work all the times neither,
going on Airplane mode, then back won't work all the times.
Solutions attempted and failed:
Reseting and reconfiguring Airport Express;
Reseting iPhone;
Switching off and on the iPhone;
Setup the DHCP renewal for every 5 days;
Meditation and stark visualisation;
Other possible patch not yet attempted : setting fixed IP addresses
All suggestions received resemble Windows' "Plug & Pray"
I gave up after reading several notes around the WWW complaining about it.
Last credible suggestion : wait for 8.0.3 or 8.1, whichever fixes the issue first. -

How can I resolve bluetooth connectivity issues between my iPhone 4S and my car?
My iPhone contantly unpairs from my car's bluetooth while I'm on a call. The phone is still working and I can continue the conversation if I hold it, but that is illegal in New Jersey. I have tried re-setting the iPhone, and re-pairing it with the car's bluetooth, but nothing has worked. My car (Lexus 350RX, 2012) is up to date with firmware. My daughter has the same issue with her iPhone 4S and her Honda Pilot. I may have to get a Samsum Galaxy if this issue is not resolved.
either export it as a pdf if you dont need to work in it or if you do use an app called numbers from apple it supports excel as far as i know

MTP USB connection issue - Windows 7 iPhone 4
I have a new Dell Vostro laptop running Windows 7. When I connect iPhone/iPad to the USB port I get an error that says device MTP USB device was not successfully installed.
I went to the Device Driver and uninstalled and then searched for new devices...it briefly sees and indentifies the iPhone but then circles back to the same error "MTP USB device was not successfully installed"
There must be a solution?? I doesn't seem like many others in this forum have this issue?

Backup your current registry (File -> Export)
Navigate the following path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE / SYSTEM / CurrentControlSet / Control / Class
On the left side, search for the entry {EEC5AD98-8080-425F-922A-DABF3DE3F69A} and click on it
On the right side, you will find a key which begins with “Upper…” – delete it!
Now unplug your iPhone
Restart your computer
Plug in your iPhone and hopefully find it mounted as a drive again!

i brought a iphone 5 back in feb/march and since then its slowley getting worse and worse, my wifi hardly pickes up any signals and when it does they drop out all the time. my girlfriends iphone4 picks up and has no trouble holding onto the wifi, whilst sitting at the same table mine shows no signals. Im not returning to the uk any time soon so i want to know if its possible to visit an apple store for replacement abroad? im only 6 months into my apple care so i wouldnt think this should pose an issue. any help would be fantastic

The bottom left area of the phone is a microphone. The other is a speaker and is the only speaker on the iPhone 5. There is also a speaker on the upper front side of the phone used for calls and the back of the phone next to the camera, there is a microphone.

Have you tried a network reset:
Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
Note: This will reset all network settings including:
previously connected Wi-Fi networks and passwords
recently used Bluetooth accessories
VPN and APN settings
If this fails you can try some of these troubleshooting tips:

I am posting this in hope that someone can help with my problem and also to share my unpleasant experience with a new Lenovo product.

OS: Windows 7 Pro 64bit
Purchase date: 27th February 2014
Since the first day I purchased the system, I have been having an issue with my wireless connection:
1. I am unable to reliably get a wireless connection to wireless access points (e.g. free wifi coffee outlets or malls) and personal mobile hotspots (mobile phone hotspots). It constantly says "LIMITED CONNECTIVITY". In other words, I cannot get internet access. Even when it does connect to the network and get internet access, there is a tendency for the connection to drop back to "LIMITED CONNECTIVITY".
The only time I can get a reliable connection is when I am connected to my home wireless router. The system does not seem to have problems on home wifi networks. Since the problem seems limited to wireless access points and hotspots, I believe its a hardware/software problem.
Please note that I have other wireless devices (laptops and mobile phones) that can connect to the same networks that I am trying to connect to and have no issues.
I have tested the networks with my friends' wireless devices as well and they have no issues accessing the internet so I am fairly certain that there is no issue with the networks themselves.
2. I have already called in twice and been given advice on both occasions but the problem still persist. I have updated all drivers, uninstalled and reinstalled and updated the BIOS for the system and also performed a system recovery but nothing has worked so far.
I have also tried disabling and/or deleting any anti-virus software and firewalls but it does not fix the problem.
I have also been advised that I need to go down to the Lenovo service center to have my laptop checked out by the technicians and that there MIGHT be a firmware upgrade for the wireless card itself.
NOTE: MIGHT? The support staff doesn't even know for sure whether there is an upgrade available.
3. Rebooting my computer, the wireless card or the hotspots does not solve the problem. It might work for a shortwhile before it reverts back to it's non working state or stops working again once I reboot the system.
I am really unhappy with the purchase so far. It's actually a good laptop per se when all is working, but without internet access, it is pretty much like a dead fish. And thats 90% of the time.
Like I said, this problem has been happening since day one and I've tolerated it long enough.
I hope someone can help me with this problem.

UPDATE - 3/24/2014
I borrowed an ASUS Wireless USB adapter from a friend and installed it on the laptop. Lo and behold there are no connectivity issues to my iPhone wireless hotspot.

I think this narrows it down to the software/hardware in the computer....Hi, all
there is an issue bugged driver or even card firmware related. Intel confirmed that. Wait some time for the new release.
For the test purpose only disable 2,4 ghz band support and switch to 5 ghz. N-band seems unstable so switch to G-band. As the Linux users report the same issue it's firmware bug basically.

Hello, this is my first post.
Well lately I've been experiencing some connection issues with my iPhone 5s. I was on my iPhone just watching Youtube when my iPhone 5s disconnected, I tried to connect again by going to settings> Wi-FI> and then select my network as usual, but the weird thing is that my Wi-Fi network has changed it's name to Wireless, it used to be Wireless710. Also the password has been changed.
My computer can easily connect due to the fact that it is hardwired to the Wireless Cable Modem Gateway.
Extra Info:
Carrier is Sprint.
I am using Windows 7 Ultimate.
My Wireless Cable Modem Gateway is Netgear.
And now I am confused because when I open the small tab with the computer and a plug on the bottom right corner next to the speaker icon it says I'm not connected :/?! Here is a picture of it:
Note that I can not connect to it but am connected on my computer. It just disappeared on my phone and computer, I even unplugged my router waited for 20 seconds and connected it back in. Did it wok? for my computer yes again because it is hardwired, but my phone? No. Wireless 710 still won't show up. Is this a possible hack? Please help me as much as you all can, thank you very much.Log in to the router's console with a web browser from your computer. What kind of encryption did you have on the router? If it was WEP that's about as secure as no encryption. It should be WPA or WPA2. There has been an exploit reported in Netgear and Linksys routers that allows someone connected to the router if Remote Access to the console is enabled to take it over and install spyware on it.
Is it your router, or the cable providers? If it is yours it has been hacked. If it belongs to the cable provider they may have changed it to make it more secure. Call them.
And if it has been hacked and is yours the best thing to do is to throw it away and get a new, more secure router. Or you can try reflashing the firmware by going to Netgear's site and downloading a clean copy. -
Hello, I have been having issues with my iPhone 5C for about a month now. I have unlimited everything, including data, & so randomly, starting about 2 weeks ago, my data basically does not work for any apps, besides like iMessage & Safari. So like if I have full LTE signal, I can try to open the Instagram app, and it will tell me "no internet connection", & it tells me that with ANY app, besides iMessage & Safari. Which is super frustrating, especially when I try to use like Maps or something & it jut does not load, & tells me that "there is not an internet connection", so I have to use apps & stuff only on wifi, in order for them to work. I went to the Sprint store, and had them try and update the data profile, reset data network, soft reset, etc (they basically did everything that I did), & they could NOT figure out what was wrong with my phone. So, they looked into my warranty information, and told me to take my phone to the Apple Store, and just get a replacement & that it would cost me only $50, since it is still covered under warranty. I am not up for an upgrade until April of 2016, & as far as I know, when it comes to replacements, Apple will either give me a new/refurbished iPhone 5C as a replacement. I don't really mind having to pay a little extra if I have to, in order to get a 5S , & I also don't care if the 5S would be either new or refurbished. So, my question is, could I maybe get a 5S as a replacement, instead of another 5C?

IPhone 4 voice/data connection issues?
I've had my iPhone 4 for around 6 months now. Lately I've been dropping a lot of out-going calls and have had some issues receiving calls in the last few days. Today I've had 3 voice mail notifications from people who have tried to call me and could not get through. It rings through to voicemail and sends me a notification after they're done recording. I have anywhere from 2 to 4 service bars, usually averaging at 3 in this location.
On top of the voice and call issues, I've been having problems with GPS and location services lately, too. I use the Waze app for directions. My phone will register 3G data signal, but none of the apps that use GPS can find any location. I have Location Service turned on in settings and have no problem starting my routes when I have wifi signal at home before I leave.

I have a MacBook with Snow Leopard 10.6.8. The last few weeks it has been constantly dropping internet connection, and one of these messages appear on the page: "Safari cannot open this page because the server where this page is located isn't responding" or "Safari cannot open this page because you are not connected to the internet" comes up. I will check Wifi and I am connected. No wifi connectivity issues with iphone or windows 7 laptop, this doesn't happen with either of those devices. I have unplugged and reset router, cleared cache, still happening. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

I have a new iPhone 6. Had a 5s before. Still have it. Had the same issue with both. I work in an office that does not get an ATT signal in my office. When I leave the office and go to where there is a good signal, I have an issue with both iPhones where it could connect to the carrier signal quickly or take up to 8 minutes to finally get a signal. I also have a blackberry that when I do the same thing, the blackberry connects to the signal immediately. I've called apple about the issue and they said it's a carrier issue and reset network settings or do a restore. I've reset network setting several times to not avail. Don't believe it's a carrier issue as the blackberry does not exhibit this behavior.
Anyone else see anything like this? Any ideas on what might be happening or anything to fix this? Thanks.Ya, airplane mode is an option but it shuts all the radios down including WiFi. I need WiFi for imessage and email. I have used airplane on and off to regain signal and it works immediately. Just not something I should have to do or think about to regain signal quickly.

Is anyone having issues syncing the iPhone wifi hot spot to iPad, Mac, Etc..? I constantly have to turn it off and back on to get them to connect. I with it was a little more seamless... Thoughts?

It's taken me this long to even reach out for the simple fact I HATE being a complainer but this is just horrible.
