WI-FI does not stay on in the background
At home I only have wi-fi. In the past (prior to iOS7) my devices would stay connected to the internet even after I walked away and they screen went black, this was helpful because I could use find my iPhone to locate my devices in the house. Now however they do not stay connected, and it is impossiable to use find my iPHone to locate either my iPhone or iPad. This is not the same as it dropping wifi- when I am using the device it works like a champ, does not seem to stay connected in the backgroud though. It just renders one of the things I love about the iCulture- that I can find my devices, instantly useless.
I can't say that I have had issues like this with my iPhone or iPod Touch, it has always connected to any Wi-Fi I have tried to connect to!

When I disable Flashplayer in the add ons it will re-enbable when Firefox is restarted, and it will re-enable during browsing.

Hold the power key on the keyboard down for 5 secs to power off, tap the power button once to start. It should connect automatically.

WiFi does not stay connected after latest upgrade
I am having an issue with the WiFi connection on my Iphone 4 after the latest 4.3 upgrade.
It does not stay connected to the wifi. I have to go and manually connect to it.
Then after a couple of seconds it loses it again.

Been there, done that... Did ALL these steps, but that does not fix the problem... AFTER inputting the SSID manually, selecting security, and then the password, iPhone STILL says it cannot connect... -

When I click on a bookmark to open it, the bookmark (in the sidebar) does not stay highlighted. Why?

Although possibly not related to your problem, I will remind you that the version of Firefox you are using at the moment has been discontinued and is no longer supported. Furthermore, it has known bugs and security problems. I urge you to update to the latest version of Firefox, for maximum stability, performance, security and usability. As for your issue, you may be having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you should make sure it's not coming from one of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. To do that easily and cleanly, run Firefox in [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode safe mode] and select ''Disable all add-ons''. If the problem disappears, you know it's from an add-on. I am really having a horrible time when trying to do our Church announcements in FCP X. When I try to take a clip from the event to the timeline my clips expanded and my timeline zoom level does not stay in the original place it moves to the right and is max out which makes every clip that I bring to the timeline expanded.
What format etc. are the video clips and what were they shot on?

Whenever I close my laptop then open it it does not turn back on, the screen stays off but I will hear the fan running. I then have to physically press the power button for it to turn on. Help!

Time Machine does not display old files: the star wars screen stays stuck
I have been looking for an known report, but can't find it.
In Time Machine, I don't see the 'star wars' panels anymore. It was working when I installed it.
In an activated Timemachine screen, the date slider on the right of the screen does not react. Only the front most screen is seen = "now".
I used to have time machine on an airportextreme; but because of adding a shared USB printer I had to move the external HDD to my own iMac.
Time machine tells the backups are successful.
Did I do something wrong by moving the HDD around?
Did I do something wrong with 'permissions'? [I added myself as a user with read permissions.]
Should I reinstall Timemachine?

Sort of. Time Machine stores backup differently when they're done locally vs. over a network.
Double-click your external HD. It should have a "sparse bundle" including the name of your computer. Those are your network backups.
Double-click the sparse bundle to mount it, then try Time Machine again. If that doesn't work, quit Time Machine and control-click the TM icon in your menubar, or right-click the TM icon in your Dock, and select the +Browse ...+ option. That should show your backups in a small window; select them and click the +Use Selected Disk+ button.
Post back with your results and we'll explain further and see how you want to proceed. -

Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps BEFORE doing the reset.

Iphone 4 does not stay connected to my network
Since upgrading to 6.1, my iPhone 4 does not stay connected to my network. I have to input my password each time I leave my house. My other devices stay connected, so the issue is with the upgrade. Has anyone found a way to keep their IPhone connected to their network? Thanks.
I don't have another phone to try. I took out the sim to check for deffects but it looked fine. Cleaned the sim card with alcohol and cleaned the aim compartment. Phone didn't loose Internet connection all day yesterday, but this morning went to check emails and wouldn't update until I turned airplane mode on then off again.

Iphone does not stay connected to wi-fi.
When using apps or when in sleep mode my iphone does not stay connected to my wi-fi. All other items within the house have no issues with staying connected to my wi-fi.
By design, when entering sleep mode, the iPhone will disconnect from WiFi to conserve battery. If you want the WiFi connection to remain persistent, plug your phone into a power source.
