Wi fi location is wrong

Ok how about this one for you, I live in England but my ipads location is south Korea, why would it be telling me this it also gives this location in any apps that use location settings

Wi-Fi iPad (no 3G, so no GPS)
Still have this problem. Went through all the steps described above and spent 2 hours with an Apple senior support representative in chat. Problem ticket is still open.
I am a bit suspicious that my iPad (iOS 4.2.1) location problem could be related to Apple's location databases.
It seems the older systems still run the Skyhook WPS and MAC address location system, but from iOS4 onward, it's Apple's location data:

For devices running iPhone OS versions 1.1.3 to 3.1, Apple relied on (and still relies on) databases maintained by Google and Skyhook Wireless (“Skyhook”) to provide location-based services. A week ago, the location was wrong, now it's "Location cannot be determined"

All you should need is:
A record(s) for the pool name pointing to each FE i.e lyncpool.domain.com (repeated for each FE IP address)
SRV records for:
_sipinternaltls._tcp.domain.com & _sipinternal._tcp.domain.com pointing to the A records of the FEs
What errors are you getting?
It may also be certificate related. Are you using an Enterprise Certificate Authority internally?

Global FlashPlayerTrust Location ist wrong in the tech Spec document

"This directory is named FlashPlayerTrust, and is called the Global FlashPlayerTrust directory. It is located alongside the directory that contains the mms.cfg file (see “mms.cfg file location” on page 19). For example, if the mms.cfg file is in C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash, the location of the Global FlashPlayerTrust directory is C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\FlashPlayerTrust. (For information on specifying content as trusted only for the current user, see “The User FlashPlayerTrust directory” on page 35.)"
This is wrong the Global FlashPlayerTrust directory is NOT located alongside. Its located UNDER the directory.
For example "C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash\FlashPlayerTrust" and not like the example in the spec "C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\FlashPlayerTrust"

HT203167 the path for several of my songs that i can't locate is wrong because the path uses forward slashes instead of back slashes. Can I change this?

several of my songs in itunes gives me the can't locate ! sign. in going to the info for each of those songs i noticed the path to locate the file was in proper format except for the slash marks which were / instead of \ . how can i change the slash makrs in the paths for those songs?

thanks for the info. if itunes is applying the wrong path i.e. - forward slashes in path instead of backward slash how will i ever access those songs I've purchased. it won't let me download them again because it thinks they are on my computer?

Apple Maps - My business location is wrong, and I don't have any iDevices to fix it

Apple Team,
I need to fix my location marker because my customers are constantly getting sent to the wrong location and having to call me for turn by turn directions when using their iPhones to find my farm. As a local farmer in Virginia, I cannot afford to have people getting lost due to an incorrect location marker. Droid users do not have any trouble making their way to my farm, however, the iPhone users always get directions to the wrong location.
I need some help in correcting this problem and hope that I can find the solution here.

Google, Yahoo, and Bing all have the correct address and marker location.

My store location is wrong on iphone maps, what now?

I do not own any apple products. I am here because I get about 3 calls per day, from people that do, saying that their iPhone took them to the wrong location. How can I fix this problem for them? How can I tell apple my correct address or fix whatever problem is occurring?

Paranoia perhaps, I just find it strange that the only electronic map that has my location wrong is the one that allows users "report a problem", setting the location in a different place as the address, and doesn't run off the basic address=location theory that company's like Google use.
My address is "public knowledge" but most people memorize my company name not the address, and if they use apple maps they will not find me.
I'm just here hoping that someone knows about an easy over ride method that owners of the company who's store location is in question can utilize to help iPhone direct its users to where they are trying to go.
I am having a terribly hard time figuring out how to "take this up with apple" All I can find is a ton of other people with this problem and the only solution being to "report a problem" on the maps, but this doesn't seem to work.
My real question is how do you get a hold Apple to take this up with them. Because Contact Us and Support has only lead me here.

Using Document Sets when I add Default PDF the save location is wrong.

Using Document sets you can add "Default Documents" to load when you use this function. The file are stored in a separate document library, template location.
Once the user uses the function the file deploy and show in the right folder. The problem is when someone edits a PDF form from the folder and then tries to save, the default save location is back to the template location. I've lock
the document but it a pain for the user to have to thumb their way back to the right place to save.
Is this just a Adobe vs Microsoft fight?

Autodetect location is wrong, how to fix?

I'm currently in the USA using a laptop intially set up for working in the UK (temporary move as a student), it's worked fine for 3 months. I've moved into a new hall and suddenly my computer is convinced I'm in South Korea. I do have a Korean roommate, but we're using a university wifi server that is logged into with separate usernames. I know I can manually set the timezone, but how do I get the location updated properly?

Try this. Go to System Preferences/Date and Time, and click on the Time Zone field. I realize that you're not using Lion, but on my system, there's a dialog that allows you to pinpoint your location. You can even further narrow down the locaton by turning on the wifi.
In any case, your location should be updated using this general procedure.

Fuse kernel module located in wrong [version]

I recently installed extra/fuse 2.7.4-3 as part of a project to get my Acer Aspire One to mount my cellphone using obexfs. However, rather than installing the module under
/lib/modules/2.6.30-one-dev/
it was placed under
/lib/modules/2.6.30-ARCH/kernel/fs/fuse/fuse.ko
and consequently when I try to load it via rc.conf, I get (from dmesg)

I tried reinstalling - even using yaourt -b (from source), but that didn't seem to help. I looked at the PKGBUILD but didn't know what, if anything, I needed to alter.
I also tried copying the /fuse directory over to the -dev kernel, but I get:
FATAL: Error inserting fuse (/lib/modules/2.6.30-one-dev/kernel/fs/fuse/fuse.ko): Invalid module format
Finally, I ran depmod but that didn't seem to help either.
I was not able to find this problem listed elsewhere. By the way, I can manipulate files) on my phone using my ACER (as root), but am bothered by the fuse errors.
Any ideas?

The patent issue is orthogonal. The old FAT patent expires in 2013 and was already beaten down. I don't know about exFAT but see TechRights.
Given Microsoft's cross-patent agreements with Apple, Samsung, and the whole tech universe, it's likely wrong to say you need a Microsoft device. You need a device from any vendor with a license. Like motherboard manufacturers....cell phone manufacturers....etc. etc. etc. etc.
Be that as it may or not, I think you're right that any patent implications would affect the FUSE suite as much as the kernel one? Therefore my original argument stands, I would say. Arch should give official support to the kernel module (since it already does the FUSE version which is inferior quality by definition).

My Business Location is wrong, need help fixing it.

I signed up for a business location about 3 months ago. The address has been incorrect and I've tried to fix the problem via the iPhone application several times along with friends and family of mine. My customers aren't able to find me and it's slowing down my business. Please help.

If Maps fails to display results, results are incorrect, locations are missing, or you experience any other issue while using Maps, you can report the issue:
Tap Overview, then tap the lower-right corner of the display.
Tap Report a Problem.

Is your iPad, wifi only? If yes, it could be that the router you connected to at the time you took the picture doesn't provide accurate location data, so when you take a picture with your iPad, it's not capable of inputing the correct location. Not all routers provide accurate locations. In 3G however, GPS should be working and provide accurate location information.

Custom top pointing to wrong location

our custom top pointing to wrong location.
we checked the CUSTOM ENV it is fine.
We changed the custom top location(to correct value) in context file and ran autoconfig. after running the autoconfig then the value is changed and pointing to old location only(wrong location).
we checked the default.env and topfile.txt everything is fine.
Please advice where to check to fix this issue.
or suggest me a a action plan.

My 4th Gen iPod Touch has my location wrong

My 4th Gen iPod Touch that runs iOS 5, has my location way wrong.
On the weather app, maps app, other apps, and icloud it shows my location is some house in Columbia, SC.
The problem is, is I don't live anywhere near Columbia,SC! I live in Jacksonville,FL! So my question is, is why is my iPod doing this, and how can I fix it?

The iPod get its location from where the Apple database thinks your router is located. (Was your router ever in Columbia SC?). In any case, sometimes Apple 's database is incorrect. There is nothing you can do about it. Apple should eventually correct it.

Some websites show my location wrong zip code, how do I change zip code?

At some websites firefox shows me as located at a wrong zip code. Where does it get this information and how do I change it so it comes up with the correct zip code?

The IP based map should show that same location as whatismyipaddress.<br />
The Geolocation Based Map is empty for me (Latitude is undefined; Longitude is undefined) and may only work properly if you use a wireless connection to a known hotspot.
