Wi-fi not working on phone and touch

i have a touch and phone both on 2.0 wifi was working fine till last night..i have restored just the iphone and restored it fresh(not backup) and still wifi not working but both will connect to other wifi's in my neighborhood..i have a netgear WGR614 V6 router..and i doubt it is the router because i have a laptop connected to the wifi..does anyone know how to fix this..thanks

I suspect the problem is in the way DHCP works with the iPhone/iPod Touch. A simple workaround for me was to assign an IP address manually to the iPhone outside of the range of the DHCP server on the router. This works well for me for some reason.
Now for a little more information: I use a simple WEP 64-bit key (or 48 bit depending on how you count it) on my router and I connect to many other wireless access points as well (university, friends' homes, etc.). I noticed that the very first time I connect, the DHCP server will give me an address. If that address is wrong, I will be stuck with that address forever and will be unable to change it even if I do that manually. It appears that no amount of resetting and forgetting the network etc. will work. At home, it is an autogenerated address, which of course does not work with the router at all.
The same happened with my University network, but I was able to revalidate the new IP address and have the university router system accept it as a valid IP and so the iPhone now can connect - but the IP address is the same as before. I also noticed that if I put something in the "Client ID" field on the iPhone, that information is not changed even if I erase it manually.
I do not know why this happens and I haven't debugged to the point of sniffing the network. This happened with my father's old iPhone 1.0 as well, but I was able to reset the parameters in his phone. No such luck in mine...

Please check for any such script as mentioned in that post and try removing it.

No, warranty is not International and is only valid in country of purchase.

Yes! Stop using the charger! My husband noticed it was worse when plugged in. One apple guy told me "restore" ... I did all that and it did not help. After I stopped using the charger, it stopped messing up. I used my husband's charger and all is well.
Later, an apple employee told me to bring in the charger for a trade in, because they had a recall on some of them.
I haven't traded it yet, but I plan on it.

Reset, hold both home and power buttons until the iPhone begins to start, try this a few times if necessary. If still problem, you may have to just Restore your iPhone to get it working. In the future sync your iPhone with iTunes routinely and when it contains important data, iCloud when set correctly will do this for you continuously.

If a restore did not fix it, you have a hardware issue--possible bad wi-fi radio.

Screen locking up and auto rotation not working on phone wakeup

Since updating to iOS8 my iPhone 5 and 5s will lock up when waking the phone. I also have noticed that the screen rotation does not work riight away and is sluggish. Certain apps tend to freeze which could be that they need an update themselves. It is a shame that Apple has resorted to using its customers as beta testers for their software. As a die hard Apple fan it is getting harder to stay true to the company. Apple should be leading not playing catch up which is why I think theses major software issues develop.

Take it to an Apple Store and see about getting an out of warranty replacement. I believe it will run you about $150.

I am seeing if I can get another battery even though I do not believe that is the issue. It keeps giving me vdd_under which I believe is under voltage, maybe it is just a faulty battery? It charges up like normal and functions normal (when plugged in, or above 90%) but it gives under voltage warnings and shuts down when in heavy use (using camera or going back and forth to imessage). When just sitting idle it doesn't seem to turn off until that 55-60% mark. It may just be a faulty battery because I feel I installed all of the other cables correctly when replacing the screen, and I don't think those connections should affect the battery anyway except for maybe the logic board cable (the 2nd cable to be unplugged after the battery cable) I guess I could clean that out as well with isopropyl just in case.
Any other suggestions would be helpful... and I will get back to you if a new battery helps. Thanks!

Try a soft reset, press and hold both power and home buttons together until the Apple logo appears, about 15 seconds, then release both. If still no joy, go into Settings>General>Reset then tap Reset All Settings. If still no joy, back up your iPod to your computer then do a Restore to Backup, if that doesn't work Restore to new through iTunes. If a full restore to new does not work, you may have a hardware issue, contact Apple Genius Bar to have your iPod evaluated. Good luck, Cheers.

The desktop layout correctly loads on the phone and tablet, but the buy now page and the cookbook page are blank.
No problems with the site on the computer.

It appears you created Tablet and Phone layouts in the Muse Plan mode, but never put any content on the pages, and then published. Thus when you visit your home page on a desktop device you get the desktop layout (which appears correct) but when you visit from a phone or tablet you get the Tablet or Phone layout from the Muse plan view. Those are blank.
You'll want to Page > Remove Alternate Layout for the Tablet and Phone layouts in Muse and re-publish, so your site is no longer re-directing to blank pages when loaded on a Tablet or Phone.
In the future if/when you create a complete Phone or Tablet layout and re-publish, your site visitors will automatically be directed to the layout appropriate to their device (and it won't be blank since you will have created a device specific alternate layout).
