Wi-Fi shows joined in settings, but no icon on top and not working
Since what I believe to be after the 1.1.1 install, I can no longer connect to my home wi-fi, though my wife's iphone still does. I have reset x 2-3, tried to renew license, and even had our I.T. guy look at the problem to no avail. In settings, it shows that I have : wi-fi "on", ask to join..."on", and it would appear to be connected to our wi-fi (the name is highlighted in blue, there is a check beside it on the left, and the wi-fi icon shows full signal on the right). Following the arrow shows "static", with all fields populated with numbers, and http proxy "off". If I return to home menu-->no wi-fi icon at top. Problem examples: If I try to update weather-->"update failed" sometimes, sometimes not (the busy wheel spins but I never see the wi-fi icon like on my wife's). For stocks-->"error retrieving data" sometimes, sometimes not (as with weather). Likewise for D/L'ing mail-->sometimes "cannot connect...", sometimes it does. All that is ever at the top is the dreaded "E" icon. Suggestions?!?

Latest ep of my podcast doesn't show in iTunes store. Subscribers CAN download it. Podcast page shows 'Total: 3 items' but lists only items 2 and 3. RSS feed is validated and fine. How do I get iTunes to display it?
I've used Feedburner many times and never had such a problem. I am a bit confused, forgive me if I ask for questions already answerd. Have you tried updating the podcast in someone elses copy of iTunes? My guess is that the file is bad since it is working in other programs but not iTunes. I would try making a new .mp4 file and podcasting it and seeing if that works.

I've been using LR with my Nikon D3200 for a year or so. Shooting in RAW/NEF no issues with import etc until I updated LR and now I can't get LR to allow me to select when I try to import. It does show the images but they're grayed out and not able to be selected. Any thoughts? TIA
Greyed imaged in the Import dialog box mean you have already imported the photos into Lightroom, so there is no need and no benefit to importing them a second time.
Just go to the Library module, search for the desired photos, and resume working on these photos. -
I have a slideshow I made in iPhoto and it is showing in iTunes movies but when I select it and click 'sync' it does not load into my phone. I have made sure it is a mobile version of the slideshow. How do I load it onto my phone? Or also, how do I play it from iPhoto or iTunes through Apple TV
Was the iPod setup via iTunes on this computer?

Was the iPod previous synced to another iTunes library/computer?
Have you successfully synced from this iTunes library/computer before?
Do the songs play in iTunes?

The following Knowledge Base article offers up some great troubleshooting steps for unexpected power off of your iOS device:

Will not turn on, will not turn on unless connected to power, or unexpected power off
Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion. Learn about LCIsand corrosion.
Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 30 minutes, if:
The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen . Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.
The low-battery image appears, even after the phone has charged for at least 20 minutes: See "iPhone displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive" symptom in this article.
Something other than the Home screen or Low Battery image appears, continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.
If the iPhone did not turn on, reset it while connected to the iPhone USB power adapter.
If the display turns on, go to step 4.
If the display remains black, go to next step.
Connect the iPhone to a computer and open iTunes. If iTunes recognizes the iPhone and indicates that it is in recovery mode, attempt to restore the iPhone. If the iPhone doesn't appear in iTunes or if you have difficulties in restoring the iPhone, see this article for further assistance.

After upgrading, I can see the icloud choice in settings but it is pale gray and I am unable to select it.
I have the same problem. In your mail settings are the "Accounts" options also faded? My twitter option is also faded as well and I have no idea whats going on (iPhone 4). I seemed to have set up iCloud through some of my apps but I can't manage them at all in settings. My mail is also working fine but I can't log off of any of them.

The I cloud on mu IPAd keeps reverting to my old password so that I cannot get mail. Sometimes this happens on my iPhone as well. I type in the correct password in the iCloud account and mail account under settings but it always reverts back and preventsme from getting mail. Can only retrieve mail from i cloud on my competer. Why would you delete your iCloud account for a password change with your Yahoo account?

I currently have a WPN824 v3 Netgear router and I’m trying to set up my Apple TV. I am able to connect it to my wireless network but my airplay feature is currently not working. The icon does not appear on any of my devices. My ipad and ipones all are currently up to date and are all joined to the same network. Is it the way that my router is configured. Please help let me know what I need to change in my router settings or does my router not work with Airplay. Or is there a simple fix.

Hello, it's been 5 days now since my imessage has not working..and i have chatted to the costumer for two times. I took thier advice and instructions just to enable to send and receive on it but unfortunately until now its still NOT working. Is there anybody who could help me please?
Try this even if you have already. Just make sure to follow the steps specifically.
Go to settings > Facetime > send and recieve > tap on your apple id and sign out. If your not signed in then that will work as well.
Go to settings > Messages > sent and recieve > tap on your apple id and sign out.
Restart the iPad by doing the slide to power off setup. Just hold the power button on the top right till it turns off.
After the iPad has been restarted:
Go to settings > Facetime > and sign in
Go to settings > Messages > and sign in
Wait about 3 min then restart the iPad again. Same instructions as above.
When you restart you should be able to use messages again. If not then call support again and talk to someone higher than the first level support they have.
